PREHEATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Warming Drawer is designed to keep cooked foods warm for extended periods of time. The
drawer must be pre-heated before use (see chart on OperationaH Guide, page 5). Hfthe warming
drawer isn't pre-heated, the internaH temperature of the food being warmed couHd faHHbellow the
minimum safe HeveHand bacteria couHd deveHop. AHways preheat the drawer according to the
instructions described in the warming drawer use section of this manual
n Children should not be [eft alone or unattended in an area where appliances are in use. They
shouHd never be aHHowedto turn knobs, push buttons, sit or stand on any part of an appHiance.
n ChiHdren in waHkers,or chiHdren crawHing can be attracted to the round door handHe and may
grab and open the warming drawer. This can resuHtin injury from the door being puHHedopen
on a chiHd,or severe burns if it is in use and hot.

Do not store items of interest to children in, above or around any
appliance. Children could be seriously injured if they should climb onto
the appliance to reach these items.
Be certain to use only dry pot holders: Moist or damp pot holders on hot surfaces may cause
burns from steam. Do not use atowel or other bulky cloth in place of pot holders.
n Never store anything in the warming drawer. Flammable materials can catch fire, plastic
items may merit or ignite and other types of items couHd be ruined.
m Do not hang articHes from any part of the appHiance or pHace anything against the drawer.
Some fabrics are quite flammabHe and couHd catch on fire.
m For safety reasons and to avoid damage to the appHiance, never sit, stand, or Meanon the
warming drawer door.
n For persona[ safety, wear proper apparel Loose fitting garments or hanging sheaves shouHd
never be worn whiHe using this appHiance. Some synthetic fabrics are highHy flammabHe and
shouHd not be worn whiHe using this appHiance.
m Do not use aHuminum foil to Mineany part of the warming drawer. Using a foil MinercouHd
resuHt in a fire hazard, or the obstruction of the flow of heat and ventiHation air. Foi[ is an
exceHHentheat insuHator and heat will[ be trapped underneath it. This trapped heat can upset
the performance of the warming drawer parts.

This appliance is designed for worming food. Based on safety
considerations, never use the warming drawer to warm or heat a room.
