1. Blocking of the safety control box
After 5 safety shutdowns, the safety box remains blocked at fault.
To unlock the safety box: turn off the burner power supply with the ON/
OFF button or by pulling out the burner plug.
After switching on again, reset the safety box by pressing the reset button.
The fault counting of the safety box is reset to 0, after each safety
box switching off (switching off by ON/OFF button, by unplugging
the burner or by power failure).

2. Important recommendations for EFU C 19 boilers
In case of repeated burner defects (B33), check following points:
`Flame detection cell:
Check the presence of the supersensitive flame detection cell (including star ) to allow a better flame
detection.
The flame detection cells available in the spare parts centre under the reference 7626801, are all supersensitive
versions.
`In case of connecting an horizontal forced flue gas connection pipe (C13)
The use of DE DIETRICH connection accessories is recommended because they include a deflector limiting the
recirculation of flue gases.
The supplied deflector must imperatively be mounted.
Refer to the point 3. hereafter.
`Check the connection of the oil supply:
The oil connection must comply with the instructions delivered with the Appliance, and with point 4. hereafter.

3. Recommendations for horizontal forced flue connection Diameter 80/
125 (C13)
The use of DE DIETRICH connection accessories is recommended because they include a deflector limiting the
recirculation of flue gases (For the majority of terminal manufacturers, the recirculation rate is high).
Combustive air inlet kit (Package MY435) + Horizontal terminal (Package FM183)
* Imperatively fit the deflector supplied in the package MY435(1)

4. Important recommendations for fuel connection
The presence of air in the fuel oil can lead to improper start-up and fouling of the burner combustion
head. It is therefore necessary to be sure there is no air in the fuel oil.
If a single-tube oil filter is used, it is imperative to use a single-tube filter including a deaerator (type Flocotop package
MT11 Ref. 100019100), in order to remove any air in the fuel.
In case of use of a single-tube oil filter, it is important to respect the sections recommended below because these
sections are smaller than for a conventional filter.
Failure to comply with the recommended sections will prevent air from escaping from the pipeline.
Maximum suction line length with lower tank level:
If the suction line is designed as a self-securing suction line according to the applicable technical regulations, remove
all check valves upstream of the Flocotop filter.
Maximum suction line length for an installation below the tank level:
An anti-siphon valve should be installed to prevent fuel oil from escaping in the case of a defective suction line since
the oil level in the tank is higher.
