WICHTIGE HINWEISE
Bitte lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig
durch und beachten Sie deren Hinweise. Machen Sie
sich anhand dieser Gebrauchsanweisung mit dem Ge-
rät, dem richtigen Gebrauch sowie den Sicherheitshin-
weisen vertraut.
ERKLÄRUNG DES HINWEISAUFKLEBERS
1. Achtung! Beachten Sie folgende Sicherheitshinwei-
se.
2. Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Bedienungsanleitung.
3. Tragen Sie persönliche Schutzausrüstung (Kopf-,
Augen-, Gehörschutz, Schutzschuhe und Schutz-
handschuhe).
4. Halten Sie von anderen Personen einen Sicherheits-
abstand von mindestens 15m.
5. Achten Sie auf weggeschleuderte Teile durch die
Elektrosense.
6. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht bei Regen, in einer
sehr feuchten Umgebung oder bei sehr nassen Ra-
sen.
Achtung!
Aus Sicherheitsgründen dürfen Kinder und Ju-
gendliche unter 16 Jahren sowie Personen, die mit
dieser Gebrauchsanweisung nicht vertraut sind,
die Elektrosense nicht benutzen.
• Führen Sie vor jeder Benutzung eine Sichtprüfung
des Gerätes durch. Benützen Sie das Gerät nicht,
wenn Sicherheitsvorrichtungen beschädigt oder ab-
genutzt ist. Setzen Sie nie Sicherheitsvorrichtungen
außer Kraft.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät ausschließlich entspre-
chend dem in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung angege-
benen Verwendungszweck.
• Sie sind für die Sicherheit im Arbeitsbereich verant-
wortlich.
• Überprüfen Sie das Schneidgut vor Arbeitsbeginn.
Entfernen Sie vorhandene Fremdkörper. Achten Sie
während des Arbeitens auf Fremdkörper. Sollten Sie
dennoch beim Schneiden auf ein Hindernis treffen,
setzen Sie bitte die Maschine außer Betrieb und ent-
fernen Sie dieses.
• Arbeiten Sie nur bei ausreichenden Sichtverhältnis-
sen.
• Achten Sie beim Arbeiten immer auf sicheren und
festen Stand. Achtung beim Rückwärtsgehen, Stol-
pergefahr!
• Lassen Sie das Gerät nie unbeaufsichtigt am Ar-
beitsplatz liegen. Sollten Sie die Arbeit unterbrechen,
lagern Sie bitte das Gerät an einem sicheren Ort.
• Sollten Sie Ihre Arbeit unterbrechen, um sich zu ei-
nem anderen Arbeitsbereich zu begeben, schalten
Sie das Gerät, während Sie sich dorthin begeben,
unbedingt ab.
• Benützen Sie das Gerät nie bei Regen oder in feuch-
ter, nasser Umgebung.
• Schützen Sie Ihr Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und
• Bevor Sie das Gerät einschalten, überzeugen Sie
sich davon, daß das Schneideblatt keine Steine oder
andere Gegenstände berührt.
• Arbeiten Sie immer mit angemessener Kleidung, um
so Verletzungen des Kopfes, der Hände, der Füße
zu verhindern. Tragen Sie zu diesem Zweckeinen
Helm, eine Schutzbrille (oder eine Schutzblende),
hohe Stiefeln (oder festes Schuhwerk und eine lange
Hose aus festem Stoff) und Arbeitshandschuhe.
• Wenn das Gerät in Betrieb ist, halten Sie es unbe-
dingt vom Körper entfernt!
• Schalten Sie das Gerät nicht ein, wenn es umgedreht
ist bzw. wenn es nicht in der Arbeitsstellung ist.
• Schalten Sie den Motor ab wenn: Sie das Gerät nicht
benutzen, Sie es unbewacht lassen, Sie es kontrol-
lieren, das Versorgungskabel beschädigt ist, Sie die
Spule entnehmen bzw. austauschen, Sie das Gerät
von einem Ort zum anderen transportieren.
• Halten Sie das Gerät von anderen Personen, ins-
besondere Kindern und auch von Haustieren fern;
im geschnittenen und aufgewirbelten Gras könnten
Steine und andere Gegenstände sein.
• Halten Sie während der Arbeit von anderen Perso-
nen und Tieren einen Abstand von mindestens 15
m.
• Schneiden Sie nicht gegen harte Gegenstände. So
vermeiden Sie es, sich zu verletzen und das Gerät
zu beschädigen.
• Verwenden Sie den Rand der Schutzvorrichtung, um
das Gerät von Mauern, verschiedenen Oberflächen,
sowie zerbrechlichen Dingen fernzuhalten.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nie ohne die Schutzvor-
richtung.
ACHTUNG! Die Schutzvorrichtung ist für Ihre Si-
cherheit und die Sicherheit anderer, sowie für ein
korrektes Funktionieren der Maschine wesentlich.
Das Nichtbeachten dieser Vorschrift führt abgese-
hen davon, daß dadurch eine potentielle Gefahren-
quelle geschaffen wird, zum Verlust des Garantie-
anspruches.
• Versuchen Sie nicht, die Schneidvorrichtung mit den
Händen anzuhalten. Warten Sie immer ab, bis sie
von allein anhält.
• Verwenden Sie nur Originalzubehör!
• Achten Sie darauf, daß Luftöffnungen frei von Ver-
schmutzungen sind.
• Ziehen Sie nach dem Gebrauch den Netzstecker und
überprüfen Sie die Maschine auf Beschädigung.
• Versuchen Sie nicht, mit dem Gerät Gras zu schnei-
den, das nicht am Boden wächst; versuchen Sie zum
Beispiel nicht, Gras zu schneiden, das an Mauern
oder auf Steinen, usw. wächst.
• Im Arbeitsbereich des Rasentrimmers ist der Benut-
zer Dritten gegenüber für Schäden verantwortlich, die
durch die Benutzung des Gerätes verursacht wird.
• Überqueren Sie mit eingeschaltetem Gerät keine
Straßen oder Kieswege.
• Wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen, bewahren Sie
es an einem trockenen und für Kinder unzugängli-
chen Ort auf.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur so, wie es in dieser
Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben ist.
• Überprüfen sie regelmäßig, ob die Schrauben richtig
angezogen sind.
• Die Netzspannung muß mit der Spannung überein-

stimmen, die auf dem Typenschild angegeben ist.
• Die Anschlußleitung muß regelmäßig auf Anzeichen
einer Verletzung oder Alterung untersucht werden.
Das Gerät darf nicht benutzt werden, falls der Zu-
stand der Anschlußleitung nicht einwandfrei ist.
• Die verwendeten Anschlußleitungen dürfen nicht
leichter als leichte Gummischlauchleitungen
HO7RN-F nach DIN 57282/VDE 0282 sein und ei-
nen Mindestdurchmesser von 1,5 mm2aufweisen.
Die Steckverbindungen müssen Schutzkontakte
aufweisen und die Kupplung muß spritzwasserge-
schützt sein.
• Die zu schneidende Fläche immer von Kabeln und
anderen Gegenständen frei halten.
• Muß das Gerät zum Transport angehoben werden,
ist der Motor abzustellen und der Stillstand des
Werkzeuges abzuwarten. Vor dem Verlassen des
Gerätes ist der Motor stillzusetzen und der Netzste-
cker zu ziehen.
• Während des Betriebs dürfen Sie auf keinem Fall ge-
gen harte Gegenstände schneiden, nur so vermei-
den Sie Verletzungen des Bedieners und Schäden
am Gerät.
• Für die Instandhaltung nur Orginal-Ersatzteile ver-
wenden.
• Reparaturen dürfen nur von einem Elektro-fachmann
durchgeführt werden.
WARTUNG UND PFLEGE
• Vor Abstellen und Reinigen die Elektrosense aus-
schalten und den Netzstecker ziehen.
• Ablagerungen an der Schutzhaube mit einer Bürste
entfernen.
• Den Kunststoffkörper und die Kunststoffteile mit
leichtem Haushaltsreiniger und einem feuchten Tuch
säubern.
• Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung keine aggressiven
Mittel oder Lösungsmittel.
• Die Elektrosense nie mit Hilfe eines Wasserstrahls
oder einem Hochdruckreiniger waschen.
• Vermeiden Sie unbedingt ein Eindringen von Wasser
in das Gerät.
AUFBEWAHRUNG
• Mit der mitgelieferten Halterung können Sie die Elek-
trosense platzsparend an der Wand aufbewahren.
ENTSORGUNG
Zubehör und Verpackung sollten einer umweltgerech-
ten Wiederverwertung zugeführt werden. Zum sorten-
reinen Recycling sind Kunststoffteile gekennzeichnet!

For your own safety and for the safety of others, please
read these instructions carefully before using this appli-
ance. Keep in a safe place for future reference.
Warning! Always read the instruction for power tools
carefully before use. It will help you understand your

INTENDED USE
This electric trimmer is intended for mowing low deco-
rative grass.
It is not intended for mowing wet grass, dewy grass.
This appliance is not intended for mowing off grass in
parks, public places, fields, etc.

DOUBLE INSULATED
This power tool is double insulated.All the external parts
are insulated from the mains power supply. This makes
it unnecessary for this power tool to be earthed.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Dispose of plastic bags safely - they are a suffoca-
tion hazard for young children.
• Keep the area you are working in clean and tidy.
• Do not use power tools in the rain or wet environ-
ments.
• Do not use power tools where there is a risk of fire or
explosion - i.e. near flammable liquids or gases.
• Do not allow children into the area where you are
working.
• Do not let children or other people touch power
tools.
• Do not leave the power tool unattended.
• Store in a dry place well out of reach of children.
• Always use safety glasses. We also recommend the
use of ear protectors.
• Wear non-slip shoes. Do not wear sandals or open-
toed shoes.
• Before using any power tool, check first for dam-
aged parts and if found do not use it before the part
or parts have been replaced with new ones.
• Do not use power tools when you are tired or have
been drinking alcohol.
• Do not force the appliance - let it work at the rate for
which it was intended.
• Do not overreach while working - you may lose your
balance.
• You must switch off your tool at the tool’s on/off
switch after use.
• Never use this appliance without the safety guard
fitted. It must always remain fitted.
• We strongly recommend the use of an RCD (Re-
sidual Current Device) of not more than 30 mA, at
the plug socket when using this appliance.
• Only use spare parts and attachments supplied by
the SBM Group. Use of attachments other than
those supplied or recommended by the SBM Group
will invalidate your guarantee and could be danger-
ous.
• Only use this appliance for its intended purpose -
trimming grass and light bushes.
• Do not allow the power cord to lay on or across
sharp objects that might pierce the outer insulation.
Carry out a visual inspection of the power cord be-
fore use and if it is damaged, have it replaced by a
specialist service centre. Do not use the appliance if
the cord is damaged.
ABOVE ALL - BE CAREFUL!
Mains Plug Replacement
If you in any doubt whatsoever regarding removing the
old plug and reconnecting a new one, you should con-
tact a competent electrician to do it for you.
If you have to rewire at any time please connect as
follows:
Attach the blue cable (Neutral) to the terminal marked
N or coloured black or blue.
Attach the brown cable (Live) to the terminal marked L
or coloured red or brown.

Using Extension cables
All electrical connections e.g. extension cable, must be
of an approved waterproof type for outdoor use and
marked accordingly. As a supply for this machine al-
ways use an extension cable of at least 1.5 mm2.
Always fully unwind extension cables before use.
SPECIFIC SAFETY WARNINGS
Attention: Danger!
• The cutting elements continue to rotate after the mo-
tor is switch off.
• If the cord becomes damaged during use, discon-
nect the cord from the power supply immediately. DO
NOT TOUCH THE CORD BEFORE DISCONNECT-
ING THE SUPPLY. Do not use the appliance if the
appliance cord or the extension cord are damaged.
• Keep extension cord away from cutting elements.
• Never fit metal cutting elements to this appliance.
• Inspect and maintain the trimmer regularly. Have the
trimmer repaired only by an authorised repairer.
• Keep your hands and feet away from the cutting
area at all times. Keep your second (front) hand on
the auxiliary handle.
• Always hold the trimmer at a safe distance from the
body.
• Always wear protective goggles.
• Always use gloves.
• Only use the trimmer in daylight.
• Ensure the ventilation openings are clear of debris
at all times.
• Ensure there are no people or animals within 5 me-
tres of your trimming area.
• Before using the trimmer, remove any stones, sticks,
toys or other foreign objects from the area.
• Take care not to injure yourself on the blade fitted for
trimming the filament line. After extending new cutter
line always return the trimmer to its normal operating
position before switching on.
• Never reach into the underside of the appliance with
the power still on. Remove the plug from the power
socket before attempting to remove or touch the
trimmer thread hubcap.
ASSEMBLY
Connecting the attachment to the upper shaft
(fig. 2)
The couper (14) connects the attachment to the upper
shaft.
Follow these steps to connect the attachment to the
upper shaft
• Loosen the knob (13) by turning it counter clock-
wise
• Remove the end cap from the attachment shaft
• Align the button with the guide recess on the upper
shaft.
• Slide the attachment shaft (9) into the upper shaft
(8) until the attachment shaft clicks into place.
NOTE: If the button does not release completely in the
positioning hole, the shaft until the button is locked into
place.
• Tighten the knob securely by turning it clockwise.
Removing the attachmentfrom the upper shaft
(fig. 2)
Disconnect the upper shaft and attachment shaft for
storage or when a job calls for a different attachment.
Follow these steps to remove the attachment from the
upper shaft.
• Release the trigger (2) and allow the trimmer to
coast to a stop.
• Unplug the tool.
• Loosen the knob by turning it counterclockwise.
• Push the button, while pulling out the attachment.
Attaching the front handle (fig. 3)
Follow these steps to attach he front handle.
• Press the front handle (6) onto the upper shaft(8)
• Place the front handle along the upper shaft to a po-
sition that allows for comfortable operation.
• Slide the bolt (16) through the hole in the front han-
dle.
• Side the washer (17) onto the bolt.
Attching the blade guard or the grass deflector
(fig. 4 & fig. 5)
Follow these steps to attach the blade guard (Fig.4)
• Attach the blade guard (11) to the mounting bracket
(31)
• Install two screws (18) from the top of the mounting
bracket (31) into the blade guard (11) .
Follow these steps to attach the grass deflector (Fig.5)
• Attach the trimmer guard to the gear case.
• Install four screws (18) through the blade guard (11)
and into to the trimmer guard.
• Install two screws through the grass blade(26) into
the trimmer guard.
Extension cord retainer (fig.6)
An extension cord retainer (4) is located on the bottom
of the trimmer. This provides strain relief for the cord,
preventing unwanted disconnects.
• Use the extension cord retainer when you connect
the extension cord to the power cord to prevent dis-
connection. Use only an outdoor approved exten-
sion cord.
• Loop the extension cord through the extension cord
retainer slot located on the bottom end of the trim-
mer.
• Pull loop of extension cord around tongue and pull
tight.
• Attach extension cord to plug on trimmer guard to
the gear case.( extension cord not available)
Shoulder strap (fig. 7)
A shoulder strap (10) is supplied for your greater com-
fort.
• Simply attach the clip (20) of the shoulder strap onto
the hanger (7) at the motor housing(5)
Converting from string trimmer to brushcutter
(fig. 4 & fig. 5)
Removing the string head
• Align the slot in the upper flange washer (28) with
the hole in the gear head (27). Place a holding pin
through the slot in the upper flange washer and the
clockwise to remove. Remove the spool (24) and
trimmer head (25) from the drive connector (26).

How to fit new trimmer thread
When you need to replace or fit new trimmer thread,
remove the plug from the power socket!
Depending on the reel design:
• Either depress the release lugs on the sides of the
hubcap. Pull the hubcap off of the prop shaft.
• Or remove the retaining cap by turning it
counterclockwise.
• Remove the trimmer thread cartridge from the prop
shaft and either replace it with a new cartridge or
wind on new thread. (If you wish to wind on the new
thread, then take a thread about 5-6 m long, fold it in
two and fix the middle of this thread in a spool slot.
Wind the thread around the spool according to the
arrow).
• Fix two ends of the thread in the spool slots for the
time being.
• Push 150 mm of thread from one end of the reel
through the hole in the hubcap and 150 mm of
thread from the other end through the second hole.
• Ensure no thread is trapped.
• Refit the hubcap assembly to the prop shaft and push
it in until it clicks in position (or secure the hubcap by
the retaining cap in case of another design).
• Release the thread ends from the spool slots by
sharply pulling them out.
OPERATION
WARNING! The product may throw objects during op-
eration, causing injury to the operator or to bystanders.
Always wear suitable eye protection, boots, gloves and
long, heavy trousers while operating the product.
Starting and stopping (fig.8)
• To start the tool: press the lock button (3) and then
press the trigger (2). Release the lock button once
the motor has started.
• To stop the tool: Release the trigger.
Operating the trimmer (fig. 9)
• Follow these steps to operate the trimmer.
• Plug the trimmer cord into an extension cord
approved for outdoor use. Refer to “Electrical Safety
Rules” earlier in this manual.
• Put the shoulder strap (10) over your shoulder
opposite side to the unit. Adjust shoulder strap to
most comfortable length.
• Hold the trimmer with your right hand on the trigger
handle and your left hand on the front handle.
NOTE! Keep a firm grip with both hands during
operation.
• Place the trimmer on the side of your body with the
motor behind and away form your body.
• Press the lock button and then the trigger to start the
trimmer.
• The trimmer will build up speed steadily.
• Trim grass and weeds in a right-to-left motion with
the line parallel to the ground.
• Place the holding pin through the upper flange
washer and the gear head. Using a wrench, turn the
drive connector clockwise to remove.
• Remove the upper flange washer from the gear
shaft and retain for blade installation.
• Remove the grass deflector (21).
NOTE: store the string head parts together for later
use.
Installing the balde
• Place the upper flange washer over the gear shaft
with the hollow side toward the blade guard.
• Centre the blade on the upper flange, making sure
the blade sits flat. Install the cupped washer(29) with
the raised centre away from the blade. Install the
blade nut(30). The blade (12) turns counterclockwise
from the operator’s position.
• Place the holding pin through the slot in the
upper flange washer and the hole in the gear
head (27). Using a wrench, turn the blade nut
counterclockwise.
• Tighten nut securely
• Install the blade guard.
Converting from brushcutter to string trimmer.
Removing the blade
• Place the holding pin through the slot in the upper
flange washer and the gear head. Turn the blade nut
clockwise to remove.
• Remove the cupped washer and the blade.
• Remove the upper flange washer and the gear shaft
and retain for the string head installation.
NOTE: store the brush cutter parts together for later
use.
Installing the string head
• Install the upper flange washer onto the gear shaft
with the hollow side towards the gear head.
• Place the holding pin through the slot in the upper
flange washer and the hole in the gear head. Using
a wrench, turn the drive connector anticlockwise to
install. Tighten securely.
• Place the trimmer head on the drive connector.
• Place the holding pin through the slot in the upper
flange washer and the hole in the gear head.
• Install the bump knob and turn anticlockwise to
tighten securely.
• Install the grass trimmer guard.
Grass deflector line trimmer cut-off blade
(fig. 12)
This trimmer is equipped with a line trimming cut-off
blade (23) on the grass deflector. For best cutting, ad-
vance line until it is trimmed to length by the cut-off
blade.
Advance line whenever you hear the engine running
faster than normal. This will maintain best performance
and keep line long enough to advance properly.

Operating the brush cutter (fig. 11)
Hold the brush cutter with the right hand on the trigger
handle and the left hand on the front handle. Keep a
firm grip with both hands while in operation. Brush cut-
ter should be held a comfortable position yourself so
that you will not be drawn off balance by the kick-back
reaction of the cutting blade.
Adjust the shoulder strap to position the brush cutter at
a comfortable operation position and to assure that the
shoulder strap will reduce the risk of operator contact
with the blade.
Exercise extreme caution when using the blade with
this unit. Blade thrust is the reaction which may occur
when the spinning blade contracts anything it cannot
cut. This contact may cause the blade to stop for an
instant, and suddenly “thrust” the unit away from the
object that was hit. This reaction can be violent enough
to cause the operator to lose control of the unit. Blade
thrust may occur without warning if the blade snags,
stalls or binds. This is more likely to occur in areas
where it is difficult to see the material being cut. For
cutting ease and safety, approach the weeds being
cut from the right to the left. In the event that an unex-
pected object or woody stock is encountered, this could
minimize the blade thrust reaction.
MAINTENANCE
Make sure that the machine is not live when carry-
ing out maintenance work on the motor!
Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth,
preferably after each use. Keep the ventilation slots
free from dust and dirt. If the dirt does not come off
use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water. Never use
solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc.
These solvents may damage the plastic parts.
The machine requires no additional lubrication.
Should a fault occur, e.g. after wear of a part, please
contact your local SBM Group dealer.
ENVIRONMENT
In order to prevent the machine from damage during
transport, it is delivered in a sturdy packaging. Most of
the packaging materials can be recycled. Take these
materials to the appropriate recycling locations. Take
your unwanted machines to your local SBM Group
dealer. Here they will be disposed of in an environmen-
tally safe way.

que utilisation de ce dernier. N'utilisez pas l'appareil
dès lors que des équipements de sécurité ont été
endommagés ou sont usés. N'annulez jamais l'effet
d'un dispositif de sécurité.
• Utilisez cet appareil exclusivement dans le respect
de l'application conforme indiquée dans ce mode
d'emploi.
• C'est vous qui êtes responsable de la sécurité dans
la zone de travail.
• Contrôlez le matériel coupant avant de commencer
à travailler. Retirez les corps étrangers éventuelle-
ment présents. Veillez, pendant que vous travaillez,
aux éventuels corps étrangers. Si vous deviez faire
face à un obstacle pendant la coupe, mettez la ma-
chine hors circuit et retirez celui-ci.
• Travaillez uniquement lorsque votre environnement

risque de trébucher!
• Ne laissez jamais l'appareil sans surveillance dans

• Si vous devez interrompre votre travail pour vous

peu encombrante en le pendant au mur à l'aide du

ELIMINATION
Les accessoires et l'emballage doivent être éliminés en

¡Atención!
Por razones de seguridad no deben utilizar la des-
brozadora eléctrica ni niños ni adolescentes me-
nores de 16 años, ni tampoco personas que no
conozcan este manual de instrucciones.
• Antes de cada uso, inspeccione visualmente el
aparato. No utilice el aparato si los dispositivos de
seguridad están dañados o desgastados. No anule
nunca el funcionamiento de un dispositivo de segu-
ridad.
• Utilice este aparato siguiendo exclusivamente la
aplicación prevista en este manual de instruccio-
nes.
• Usted es el responsable de la seguridad en la zona
de trabajo.
• Antes de empezar el trabajo, inspeccione la zona
que desea recortar y retire todos los cuerpos extra-
ños. Durante el trabajo, preste atención a posibles
cuerpos extraños. Si encuentra un obstáculo duran-
te el corte, apague la máquina y retírelo.
• Trabaje únicamente cuando su entorno sea bien vi-

Pueden salir despedidos piedras y otros objetos que
se encuentren entre la hierba cortada.
• Mantenga mientras trabaje una distancia mínima de
15 metros con respecto a otras personas o anima-
les.
• No corte objetos duros. Evitará así herirse y dañar el
aparato.
• Utilice el borde de la pieza de protección para man-
tener el aparato alejado de muros, de superficies
diversas así como de objetos frágiles.
• No utilice nunca el aparato sin la pieza de protec-
ción.
¡ATENCIÓN ! La pieza de protección resulta esen-
cial para su seguridad y la de otras personas, y
para lograr un funcionamiento correcto de la má-
quina. El incumplimiento de esta norma conllevará
la pérdida de los derechos de la garantía, además
de suponer una fuente potencial de peligro.
• No intente detener con las manos el dispositivo de

• Verifique con regularidad que los tornillos están bien
apretados.
• La tensión local debe coincidir con la especificada

• Hay que inspeccionar con regularidad el cable de
conexión para detectar eventuales daños o desgas-

• En ningún caso intente cortar objetos duros con el
aparato en funcionamiento, así evitará heridas al
usuario y daños al aparato.

4. Montaje de la empuñadura
Coloque la empuñadura en el tubo de guía, como s
ilustra en la figura 2.
MANTENIMIENTO Y CUIDADO
• Antes de guardar y de limpiar la desbrozadora eléc-
trica, párela y desenchúfela.
• Limpie con un cepillo los restos depositados en la
tapa protectora.
• Limpie el cuerpo y los elementos de plástico con un
detergente doméstico y con un trapo húmedo.
• No utilice para la limpieza ningún producto agresivo
ni disolvente.
• Nunca lave la desbrozadora eléctrica con agua a
chorro ni con ningún aparato de limpieza a presión.
• Es imprescindible evitar que el agua penetre en el
aparato.
ALMACENAMIENTO
Puede guardar el corta-bordes sin que estorbe colgán-
dolo en una pared mediante el soporte provisto con
el aparato.
RECICLAJE
Para eliminar accesorios y embalaje, hay que llevarlos
a una red de reciclaje ecológico. Las piezas de mate-
rial plástico están marcadas para reciclarse en función
de su tipo.

DESIGNAÇÃO
Aba elétrica é pretendida para dobrar da grama deco-
rativa baixa.
Este artigo não é pretendido para dobrar:
• grama húmida,
• grama com o orvalho,
• plantas com o tronco rígido.
Esta aba não é pretendida para o uso profissional: is-
to é para dobrar de uma quantidade grande da grama
nos parques, os lugares do público, nos campos, jar-
dins, etc.
Não usam o artigo para esmagar da grama.
OS REGULAMENTOS DA SEGURANÇA
Para evitar o fogo, o impacto pela corrente elétrica e a
ferramenta de poder dos ferimentos deve ser explora-
do de acordo com as exigências desta instrução. Lido
também a instrução.de segurança aplicada.
Antes que o trabalho você estiver convencido
do fato isso:
• a tensão da fonte do motor elétrico da ferramenta
corresponde à tensão elétrica na linha (rede);
• a bobina com a linha é apropriada, ele os danos da
falta;
• o rosette, o atenuador, o cabo de poder e sua forqui-
lha não são danados, lá são nenhum dano a cinta

veis.
• O atenuador elétrico deve ser alongado em uma
maneira como para não criar obstáculos para o tra-
balho e o movimento da grama.
• Use somente os atenuadores pretendidos para a
aplicação ao ar livre.
• Para a segurança de Você, recomendamos estabe-
lecer o dispositivo de proteção personal que opera
no exemplo das flutuações de poder eletrico e ten-
são na rede não mais de 30 miliampères.
• Trabalha nos óculos de proteção pròxima cabidos
(ou máscara com os vidros), os calçados antiderra-
pantes, as luvas, os jogos da cabeça.
• Tenha fortemente a aba nas mãos, preservando o
equilíbrio. Você prende a ferramenta na posição
vertical, toda a outra posição pode conduzir ao feri-
mento.
• Não inclua a aba na posição invertida do vôo.
• Você segue a limpeza das aberturas do respiradou-
ro, eles assegura a circulação de ar para o motor
que refrigera no processo do trabalho.
• Este artigo é pretendido somente para a grama que
cresce na terra. Não trabalha a vegetação nas pare-
des, nas pedras, etc..
• Você seja exato, não permita a colisão da bobina
com nenhuns objetos ou obstáculos: isto pode con-
duzir aos danos da bobina ou aos ferimentos em
conseqüência do sopros de objetos extrangeiros.
• A bobina com a linha continua a revolver por um
tempo após a desconexão da aba conseqüente-
mente para evitar ferimento você prende-o na re-
moção dos braços e dos pés.
• É proibida para parar a bobina pela mão.
• Desligue a aba e remova a forquilha do rosette cada
vez antes do reparo e da manutenção técnica (lim-
pando, pelo ajuste, verificando conexões elétricas
ao objeto dos danos).
• Não deixe a aba sem o cuidado.
• Você armazena o artigo no lugar seco, inacessível
para as crianças.
• Você não introduz suas próprias mudanças na
construção da aba: isto é perigoso.
Atenção! Para evitar de superaquecer o motor elétrico
e a falha da aba é necessário deixar sem trabalho e
desconectar a aba por 10-15 minutos após cada 15
minutos da operação continua.
A MANUTENÇÃO E O SERVIÇO TÉCNICA
Antes da manutenção desconectam a ferramenta da

spositivi di sicurezza sono danneggiati o usurati.
Non escludete mai i dispositivi di sicurezza.
• Utilizzate l'apparecchio esclusivamente per lo scopo
indicato in questi istruzioni per l'uso.

• Usate il bordo del dispositivo di protezione per tene-
re l'apparecchio lontano da muri, superfici diverse

• Non usate mai l'apparecchio senza il dispositivo di
protezione.
ATTENZIONE! Il dispositivo di protezione è essen-

MANUTENZIONE E CURA
• Prima di pulire e mettere via il decespugliatore elet-
trico spegnerlo e staccare la spina dalla presa di
corrente.
• Togliere con una spazzola i depositi sulla calotta
protettiva.
• Pulire il corpo e le parti in plastica con un leggero
detergente domestico ed un panno umido.
• Per la pulizia non usate mezzi aggressivi o solventi.
• Non lavare mai il decespugliatore con un getto d'ac-
qua o con un'idropulitrice.
• Evitate assolutamente che l'acqua penetri all'interno
dell'apparecchio.
CONSERVAZIONE
• Con il supporto fornito potete tenere il tosaerba ap-
peso alla parete in modo poco ingombrante.
SMALTIMENTO
Gli accessori e l'imballo devono venire riciclati in modo
ecologico. Le parti in plastica portano i relativi contras-
segni per il riciclaggio separato!

Elektrische grastrimmer
BELANGRIJKE AANWIJZINGEN
Lees deze gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig en volg de
aanwijzingen ervan op. Maakt u zich aan de hand van
deze gebruiksaanwijzing vertrouwd met het toestel, het
juiste gebruik alsook met de veiligheidsvoorschriften.
Let op !
Om veiligheidsredenen mogen kinderen en jonge-
ren onder 16 jaar alsook personen die niet met deze
gebruiksaanwijzing vertrouwd zijn deze elektrische
zeis niet gebruiken.
• Voer telkens voor het gebruik een visuele controle
van het toestel uit. Gebruik het toestel niet als veilig-
heidsinrichtingen beschadigd of versleten zijn. Zet
nooit de veiligheidsinrichtingen buiten werking.
• Gebruik het toestel uitsluitend conform het gebruiks-
doeleinde vermeld in deze gebruiksaanwijzing.
• U bent verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheid op uw
werkplaats.
• Controleer het te snijden goed alvorens te begin-
nen werken. Verwijder voorhanden zijnde vreemde
voorwerpen. Let tijdens het werk op vreemde voor-
werpen. Mocht u desondanks tijdens het snijden
een hindernis tegenkomen, gelieve dan de machine
buiten werking te zetten en dit te verwijderen.
• Werk enkel bij voldoende zicht.
• Let bij het werken steeds op een veilige en vaste
stand. Let op als u achteruit gaat, struikelgevaar!
• Laat het toestel nooit onbeheerd op uw werkplaats
achter. Indien u uw werk moet onderbreken, bewaar
dan het toestel op een veilige plaats.
• Indien u uw werk moet onderbreken teneinde naar
een andere werkplaats te gaan, zet dan het toestel
zeker uit voordat u er naartoe gaat.
• Gebruik het toestel nooit bij regen of in vochtige,
natte omgeving.
• Bescherm uw toestel tegen vocht en regen.
• Voordat u het toestel inschakelt dient u er zich van
te overtuigen dat het snijblad geen stenen of andere
voorwerpen raakt.
• Werk altijd met de gepaste kleding om op die manier
verwondingen aan uw hoofd, uw handen en voeten
te voorkomen. Draag te dien einde een helm, een
veiligheidsbril (of een veiligheidsscherm), hoge laar-
zen (of vast schoeisel en een lange broek van vaste
stof) en werkhandschoenen.
• Hou het in werking zijnde toestel absoluut op af-
stand van uw lichaam !
• Zet het toestel niet in werking als het omgedraaid is
of zich niet in zijn werkstand bevindt.
• Schakel de motor uit als u het toestel niet gebruikt,
u het onbeheerd laat, u het controleert, de voe-
dingskabel beschadigd is, u er de spoel uit neemt of
verwisselt, u het toestel van de éne plaats naar de
andere brengt.
• Hou het toestel op afstand van andere personen, in
het bijzonder van kinderen en ook van huisdieren; in
het gesneden en opgejaagde gras zouden stenen
en andere voorwerpen kunnen zijn.
• Hou tijdens het werk een afstand van minstens 15 m
van andere personen en dieren.
• Snij niet tegen harde voorwerpen. Zo voorkomt u
verwondingen en een beschadiging van het toestel.
• Gebruik de rand van de beschermkap om het toestel
op afstand te houden van een muur, verschillende
oppervlakken alsook van breekbare dingen.
• Gebruik het toestel nooit zonder bescherminrich-
ting.
LET OP ! De bescherminrichting is belangrijk voor
uw veiligheid en de veiligheid van anderen alsook
voor de correcte werkwijze van de machine. Niet-
naleving van dit voorschrift leidt, buiten het feit
dat daardoor een potentiële gevarenbron wordt ge-
schapen, tot het verlies van uw recht op garantie.
• Probeer niet de snij-inrichting met de handen te
stoppen. Wacht altijd tot deze vanzelf stopt.
• Gebruik enkel originele accessoires !
• Let er goed op dat de luchtopeningen vrij zijn van
verontreinigingen.
• Trek na gebruik de netstekker uit het stopcontact en
controleer de machine op beschadiging.
• Probeer niet met het toestel gras te snijden dat niet
op de grond groeit; probeer b.v. niet gras te snijden
dat op muren of stenen enz. groeit.
• Binnen het werkgebied van de grastrimmer is de
gebruiker verantwoordelijk tegenover derden voor
schade berokkend door het gebruik van het toestel.
• Steek met ingeschakeld toestel geen wegen of
grindpaden over.
• Als u het toestel niet gebruikt bewaar het op een
droge en voor kinderen ontoegankelijke plaats.
• Gebruik het toestel enkel zoals beschreven in deze
handleiding.
• Controleer regelmatig of de schroeven naar beho-
ren zijn aangehaald.
• De netspanning moet overeenstemmen met de
spanning vermeld op het kenplaatje.
• De aansluitkabel dient regelmatig op tekens van be-
schadiging of veroudering te worden gecontroleerd.
Het toestel mag niet gebruikt worden als de aansluit-
kabel niet in perfecte staat is.
• De gebruikte aansluitkabels mogen niet lichter zijn
dan lichte rubbers la n g kabel s HO7RN-F volgens
DIN 57282/VDE 0282 en moeten een minimumdia-
meter van 1,5 mm2hebben. De insteekverbindingen
moeten voorzien zijn van een randaarding en de
koppeling moet spatwaterdicht zijn.
• De te snijden vlakte altijd vrij houden van kabels en
andere voorwerpen.
• Indien het toestel moet worden opgeheven om het
te transporteren, dient u de motor stop te zetten en
te wachten tot het gereedschap stilstaat. Voordat u
het toestel verlaat moet de motor worden stopgezet
en moet de netstekker uit het stopcontact worden
getrokken.
• Tijdens het bedrijf mag u in geen geval tegen harde
voorwerpen snijden. Enkel op die manier voorkomt
u verwondingen van de bediener en een beschadi-
ging van het toestel.

• Gebruik voor het onderhoud enkel originele wissel-
stukken.
• Herstellingen mogen enkel door een elektrovakman
worden uitgevoerd.
VERKLARING VAN DE STIKKER MET
INSTRUCTIES
1. Let op ! Neem de volgende veiligheidsvoorschriften

2. Lees aandachtig de handleiding.
3. Draag persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen (hoofd-
deksel, oogbescherming, gehoorbeschermer, vei-
ligheidsschoeisel en veiligheidshandschoenen)
4. Hou een veilig heidsafstand van minstens 15m van
andere personen.
5. Let op stukken die door de elektrische zeis worden
weggeslingerd.
6. Gebruik het toestel niet bij regen, in een zeer voch-
tige omgeving of als het gras erg nat is.
ONDERHOUD
• De elektrische zeis uitschakelen en de netstekker
trekken voordat u hem opbergt en schoonmaakt.
• Grasresten en verontreinigingen met een borstel
van de beschermkap verwijderen.
• Het kunststof l ie h aam en de kunststofcomponen-
ten schoonmaken m.b.v. een lichte huishoudreiniger
en een vochtige doek.
• Gebruik voor het schoonmaken geen agressieve
middelen of oplosmiddelen.
• De elektrische zeis nooit wassen m.b.v. een water-
straal of hogedrukreiniger.
• Vermijdt zeker dat water het toestel binnendringt.
OPBERGEN
• Met de bijgeleverde houder kunt u de grastrimmer
ruimtebesparend op een muur
BEHEER VAN AFVALSTOFFEN
Zorg ervoor dat accessoires en de verpakking milieu-
vriendelijk worden gerecycleerd. Vooreen soort bij
soort recyclage zijn de kunststofstukken gekenmerkt.
