When the battery becomesweak, the sound becomes
weak and distorted. Pleasereplace the battery with
new one.
BATTERY OPERATION
Snap down thelid of the compartment.
Slip the batterylid in the direction of the arrow.
Insert oneAAA batteryaccording the polarity
marked as insidethe compartment.
If battery leakage occurs,wipe the battery
compartment with a softcloth before inserting the
new ones.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
OPERATING THE RADIO
When listening to stereo reception, normallyset
to STEREO. If the stereo
reception too weakand noisy,set the selector to
MONO.
Toimprove radio reception,extend the earphones
cord which functionsas the FM antenna.
Connect the smallplug of the earphones with
EARPHONE JACK .
Set the ON / OFF switch to ON to turn onthe
unit.
Set the switch to AM for
AM reception, MONO for FM monaural
reception, STEREO for FM stereo reception.
Turn TUNE to tune inthe desire station.
Adjust volume usingVOLUME .
After listening, setthe ON / OFF switch to OFF.

Avoid exposureto temperature extremes, directsunlight,
moisture, sand, dust ormechanical shock.
Should anything wrong withthe radio, please removethe
battery and have theunit checked by qualifiedpersonnel
before operating it anyfurther.
In vehicles or inbuilding, radio reception maybe difficult or
noisy. Try listening near awindow.
Avoid usingearphones at high volume,if you experience a
ringing in your ears,reduce volume or discontinueuse.
Shut down the radiobefore sleeping.
Do not use earphoneswhile driving or cycling,it can also be
potentially dangerous to playyour earphones at highvolume
while walking, especially atpedestrian crossing.
