1.3 Zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit
!Lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung vor der Installation und Inbetriebnahme sorgfältig
durch. Beachten Sie in jedem Fall die Hinweise in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung.
!Betreiben Sie den Multivac eco nur mit Original-Ersatzteilen und Zubehör. Nur so sind die
angegebenen Leistungsdaten erreichbar und die erforderliche Betriebssicherheit gegeben.
!Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht. Im Inneren des Gerätes liegen gefährliche Spannungen an.
Wartungsarbeiten und Reparaturen dürfen deshalb nur von autorisierten Servicetechni-
kern durchgeführt werden.
!Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit, damit Kurzschlüsse vermieden werden und das
Gerät nicht beschädigt wird.
Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch des Gerätes sollte der Netzstecker gezogen werden.

1.4 Allgemeine Benutzerhinweise
1.4.1 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
• Anrühren von Modell- und Einbettmassen unter Vakuum
• Anrühren von Dubliersilikonen und Alginaten
1.4.2 Bedienelemente
Vakuum Ein/Aus
Ermöglicht Ihnen das Ein- und Ausschalten der Vakuumpumpe.
!Achten Sie beim Evakuieren darauf, dass das anzumischende Material nicht in das
Vakuumsystem gesaugt wird.
Zeitschaltuhr für Rührbetrieb
Das Rührwerk wird durch Vorwahl einer Rührzeit an der Zeitschaltuhr automatisch gestartet.
!Zur vollständigen Abkopplung des Gerätes von der Spannungsversorgung ziehen
Sie bitte den Netzstecker.
!Um ein homogenes Vermischen der Materialien zu gewährleisten, empfehlen wir die
Verwendung unzerkratzter Becher.

2 Inbetriebnahme
2.1 Aufstellen des Gerätes
• Bringen Sie die 3 Befestigungsdübel gem. beigefügter Bohrschablone in die Wand ein.
!Vergewissern Sie sich, dass im Bereich der Bohrungen keine Strom- oder Wasser-
leitungen vorhanden sind.
• Schrauben Sie die beiden oberen Befestigungsschrauben in die Dübel ein.
• Hängen Sie den Multivac eco ein.
• Sichern Sie das Gerät gegen Hochschieben durch Einschrauben der 3. Befestigungsschraube im
Bereich der Säule.
• Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit dem Stromnetz.
Der Anschluss für das Netzkabel befindet sich auf der rechten Seite im hinteren Teil des
Gerätes.
2.2 Bedienung
• Füllen Sie den Anrührbecher mit dem anzumischenden Material.
Beachten Sie, dass die markierte maximale Füllhöhe des Anrührbechers nicht überschritten
wird.
Beim Anrühren von Pulver und Flüssigkeit sollte vor dem Mischen das Material mit einem
Handspatel gut vorgemischt werden.
• Säubern Sie den Becherrand und setzen Sie den Deckel mit Rührwerk auf.
• Drücken Sie den Anrührbecher unter die Kupplung und schalten Sie die Vakuumpumpe ein.
Halten Sie den Becher fest, bis der Becher sicher durch das anliegende Vakuum gehalten
wird.
Beobachten Sie das Mischgut. Steigt das Mischgut beim Evakuieren bis ca. 1 cm unterhalb
des Deckels an, muss das Rührwerk eingeschaltet werden, um das Einsaugen von Mischgut
in das Vakuumsystem zu verhindern.
• Starten Sie den Anmischvorgang, indem Sie die Zeitschaltuhr auf die gewünschte Mischzeit
einstellen.
Nach Ablauf der eingestellten Mischzeit schaltet das Rührwerk automatisch ab.
• Halten Sie den Anrührbecher fest und schalten Sie die Vakuumpumpe aus.
Beachten Sie, dass bei abgeschaltetem Vakuum der Becher nicht mehr selbstständig
gehalten wird.

2.3 Anmischen von Silikonen
• Beim Anmischen von Silikonen ist unbedingt die max. Füllmenge der Anmischbecher zu beachten
(Becher klein max. 100 g / Becher groß max. 400 g). Die Anmischzeit beträgt 75 s.
3 Pflege und Wartung
3.1 Allgemeines
Pflege und Wartung umfassen Arbeiten, welche den Multivac eco in einem einwandfreien Betriebs-
zustand erhalten.
Überprüfen Sie das Gerät regelmäßig auf mechanische Beschädigungen. So beugen Sie Unfällen
und Geräteausfällen vor.
Entfernen Sie Verunreinigungen umgehend von allen beweglichen Bauteilen. Nur so ist deren Leicht-
gängigkeit und eine einwandfreie Funktion gewährleistet.
Rührmotor und Vakuumpumpe sind wartungsfrei.
!Vor Beginn der Reinigungsarbeiten ist das Gerät auszuschalten und der Netzstecker zu
ziehen.
!Achten Sie bei der Reinigung des Gerätes darauf, dass keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät
eindringen kann. So vermeiden Sie Kurzschlüsse, die zum Ausfall oder Brand des Gerä-
tes führen können.
!Im Inneren des Gerätes liegen gefährliche Spannungen an. Wartungsarbeiten und Repa-
raturen dürfen deshalb nur von autorisierten Servicetechnikern durchgeführt werden.
!Eigenständige Manipulationen am Gerät vermindern die Betriebssicherheit und bergen
die Gefahr von Personen- und Sachschäden.

3.2 Filterwechsel
Ein Filterwechsel wird notwendig, wenn sich die Zeiten für das Evakuieren und Belüften der Becher
stark verändern.
• Hebeln Sie den Verschlussring mit einem Schlitzschraubendreher aus der Kupplung heraus.
• Ziehen Sie das alte Filterelement heraus.
• Säubern Sie den Kupplungsbereich von anhaftenden Materialresten.
• Setzen Sie das neue Filterelement auf den Verschlussring.
• Führen Sie das Filterelement mit Verschlussring wieder in die Kupplung ein. Der Verschlussring
muss dabei wieder einrasten.
!Die Benutzung des Gerätes ohne Filter kann zur Beschädigung des Gerätes führen und
ist unbedingt zu unterlassen.
4 Behebung von Störungen
Beim Einschalten oder Anlauf des Gerätes wird die interne Gerätesicherung ausgelöst
Die Gerätesicherung befindet sich neben dem Netzanschluss. Ein mehrfaches Auslösen der
Sicherung deutet auf einen Defekt des Gerätes hin, der durch einen Servicetechniker behoben
werden muss. Ein einmaliges Auslösen kann auch durch einen blockierten Rührmotor verursacht
werden. In diesem Fall kann nach Beseitigung der Fehlerursache die Sicherung gewechselt und
der Multivac eco wieder benutzt werden.
!Vor Beginn des Sicherungswechsels ist
unbedingt der Netzstecker zu ziehen.

1.3 For your own safety
!Please read all instructions carefully before installing and operating this machine. All
warnings or notices contained within these instructions should be followed at all times.
!This Multivac eco unit should only be used together with original spare parts and
accessories. Only in this way can the working capacities indicated be reached whilst
upholding the required safety standards.
!Do not open the casing. On the inside of this unit there are dangerously high voltages at
hand. Authorised service personnel should only carry out Service and repair work.
!Protect the unit from condensation build up, preventing short-circuiting and damage to
the machine.
If the unit is not being used for longer periods, please disconnect the mains supply.

1.4 General operating notices
1.4.1 Proper use
• Mixing of plaster and investment materials under vacuum conditions
• Mixing of silicone based duplicating materials or reversibles
1.4.2 Control panel

This switch allows you to turn the vacuum pump either on or off manually.
!When evacuating the unit, please make sure none of the material being mixed is
sucked into the vacuum system.
Timer for the mixer
Choose the length of mixing time by simply turning the timer to the value required. The mixer
starts automatically.
!Complete separation of the unit from the mains is only achieved when the mains
supply cable is disconnected from the wall socket.
!In order to ensure homogenous mixing of the materials, we recommend using
unscratched vessels.

2 Getting started
2.1 Setting up the unit
• Using the supplied drilling template, drill three holes and insert the wall plugs.
!Please assure there are no water or
electricity lines in the wall before drilling.
• Screw the top two screws into the holes you have made.
• Hang the Multivac eco onto these screws.
• Secure the unit by screwing in the third screw, which is located at the lower column.
• Connect the unit to the mains supply.
The socket for the mains connection is located on the right hand side of the rear of the unit.
2.2 Operation
• Fill the mixing flask with the materials you wish to stir.
Please do not fill the flask above the maximum filling level shown on the side.
When mixing powder and liquid together, it is advisable to stir the two components well
with a spatula beforehand.
• Remove any remnants of powder from the flask rim and set the stirring section on top.
• Press the mixing flask up under the coupling and turn on the vacuum pump.
Hold on to the mixing flask until the vacuum level is high enough to hold the flask in position
alone.
Keep an eye on the material in the flask. If it starts to rise up inside the flask quickly, and
reaches a point about 1 cm below the rim, then you should turn on the stirring mechanism
to avoid material being sucked into the vacuum system.
• Start the stirring mechanism by turning the timer to the required value.
After the set time has elapsed, stirring will stop automatically.
• Hold on to the flask once more and turn off the vacuum pump.
Please remember that the flask is not held in position once the vacuum has been turned off.
2.3 Mixing of Silicones
• For the mixing of silicones, it is imperative not to exceed the maximum filling of the mixing vessels
(small vessel max. 100 g, large vessel max. 400 g). Mixing duration is 75 secs.

3 Care and Maintenance
3.1 General notices
Care and maintenance involves all procedures which keep the Multivac eco in best working order.
Check the machine for mechanical faults or damage regularly. In this way, you can prevent accidents
and fall out time.
Remove all dirt or soiling from moving parts immediatly. This ensures they remain moveable and
function properly.
Mixing motor and vacuum pump are maintenance free.
!Before cleaning,
the unit should be turned off and disconnected from the mains.
!Make sure that no liquids enter the unit during cleaning. In this way you avoid the risk of
short circuiting which could lead to a fire or cause the unit to break down completely.
!On the inside of this unit there are dangerously high voltages at hand. Service and repair
work should only be carried out by authorised service personnel.
!Manipulation of the unit by unauthorised persons reduces the safety of the unit and
endangers surroundings and other persons operating it.

3.2 Changing the filter
Filter changing becomes necessary when the amount of time taken when evacuating or flooding the
flask becomes noticably longer than usual.
• Carefully remove the sealing ring from the coupling with a screwdriver.
• Pull out the filter element.
• Remove any remnants of material from the coupling.
• Set the filter on top of the sealing ring.
• Replace the filter along with the sealing ring back into the coupling. The sealing ring must audibly
click into place.
!Operating this unit without a filter can seriously damage the machine and is not to be
undertaken at any circumstance.
4 Problem solving
When turning on the unit or starting mixing, the fuses blow.
The fuse section is located next to the mains socket. Repeated fuse cut out points to a more serious
problem within the machine which should be dealt with by service technicians. Cut outs which occur
once only could have been caused when the stirring motor is blocked. In this case, the blockage
should be removed and the fuse replaced, after which the unit can be started up once more.
!Before attempting to change a blown fuse,
the unit must be disconnected from the mains.

Les travaux d’entretien et les réparations ne doivent pour cette raison être effectués que
par des techniciens de service autorisés.
!Protégez l’appareil contre l’humiditéafin d’éviter des court-circuits et son endommag-
ment.
Il est recommandéde débrancher l’appareil s’il n’est pas utilisépendant un grand laps de
temps.
