Refrigerant leaks can take a refrigerator down quickly. Leaks are public enemy
number 1 at Delfi eld. Our state-of-the-art leak detection equipment is designed to
fi nd even the smallest leak. If a refrigerant leak is present, we will fi nd it and remedy
the problem before the unit is shipped and installed.

Refrigerant metering - the variable fl ow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil afforded
with the use of a thermostatic expansion valve instead of a fi xed fl ow capillary tube
means faster temperature recovery and more even cabinet temperatures. For you that
means you can work your Specifi cation Line unit hard with lots of door openings and
closing, in the hottest of kitchens and still get the performance you need.

Hot Gas Condensate Removal-
We use the hot gas discharge line to generate heat to evaporate condensate that
is produced from normal refrigeration operation. It’s free energy since the line
is an integral part of refrigeration system operation. Its heat assures condensate
evaporation even in the most demanding environments. We don’t leave evaporation
to chance like some other manufacturers might by just counting on non-heat aided
evaporation to occur. We’ve designed our hot gas system to be resistant to the corrosive effects
of acids found in the condensate.

Large Evaporator Coil-
Designed to perform without robbing your food storage environment of the humidity
it needs to keep your food fresh and appealing. We could use a smaller coil and still
maintain temperatures, but it would run colder and pull more moisture out of our
cabinet air, drying out your food. Why would we want to do that? Fresh, appealing
food means satisfi ed customers and enhanced revenues to you.

You need your food to be stored at just the right temperatures. Not too hot, not too
cold. You need those temperatures everywhere in the cabinet so you can get maximum

Chrome plated shelves stand-up to corrosion. They are work horses - handling up
to 250 pounds per shelf. Specifi cation Lines pilasters are tough too - constructed of
heavy gauge stainless steel and providing shelf adjustability on 1” centers.

Rolled on Stainless Steel Finish-
Instead of “traditional” abraided and polished stainless steel fi nish, we’ve chosen to
use newer technology, rolled on fi nish. Independent lab tests have shown that the
rolled on fi nish is less succeptable to pitting and corrosion and holds up better in the
harsh environments that are todays food service kitchens.

One-Piece Side Construction-
Solid construction. Continuous side panels with no seam at the top. Polyurethane
insulation foamed in place, from top to bottom, adds rigidity and provides a sound
deadening effect from refrigeration system noise.

ABS Interior Door Liner-
One tough design. The inside of the door takes a lot of abuse and Specifi cation
Lines’ molded ABS material can handle it. This material is solid but resilient. It
won’t dent or crack. Pans and boxes bounce right off. We also took gasket life
into account. The Specifi cation Line door liner is molded to come out past the door
gasket, protecting it from wear and tear. You’ll fi nd yourself replacing door gaskets a
lot less frequently on Specifi cation Line refrigeration.

you’ll fi nd the deluxe polyurethane wheeled casters provided as an option on

ACT, Advanced Control Technology-
Our ACT system gives you an expanded temperature operating range in refrigerators.
They can operate anywhere from 27˚F to 44˚F without modifi cation. Just set the dial
to the desired temperature. Operation below 32˚F doesn’t require electric defrost
heaters. The control is smart enough to keep the evaporator coil free of ice. ACT
lets your refrigerator do its job, just like you need it to in your application.

Hinged Stay-Open Upper Housing-
The upper housing hinges open and stay-open with a gas strut, allowing you
convenient access to the refrigeration system. This makes it especially easy to clean
the condenser coil. A clean condenser keeps your system operating properly and
effi ciently. Shouldn’t it be easy to get at for cleaning?
Pressure Relief Vent-
Open the door, close the door, open the door - unit won’t open. It feels like there is a
500 pound gorilla inside holding it shut. Ever experience this? It’s called vapor lock
and is caused by an air pressure differential between the inside and outside of the unit.
It won’t happen with Specifi cation Line. We’ve installed pressure relief vents on all
refrigerators and freezers to eliminate vapor lock. No annoying, productivity robbing,
stuck doors.

the factory. You don’t have to worry about having an electrician wire it. It fi ts in a
standard outlet. The 10’ length gives you plenty of room to move the unit for cleaning.

Easy to Read LED External Thermometer-
Bright and easy to read from across the room. It doesn’t depend on solar power for
a read out. If the unit is plugged in, you’ll know the interior temperature and you’ll
