1. Disassembly Procedures

Turn off the monitor.

Place the monitor on S2422HGB Curve
Sponge Jig
Press and hold the stand release button
ift the stand up and away from the
monitor.

Unlock 4 RC screws
(Screw Torque: 8~10kgf)

Use hands or scraper bar to
disassemble Rear Cover from monitor
Notice the disassembly order:
Top Side=>Right/ eft Side=>Bottom
Side

Remove “CTR BD FFC” from I/F BD
and tear off it from Main SHD to take off
Rear Cover

Tear off “CTR BD FFC” from Rear
Cover

Unlock 6 CTR BD screws
Disassemble “CTR BD” and “CTR +
KEY BD” from Rear Cover
Remove “CTR BD FFC” and “CTR +
KEY BD FFC” from “CTR BD” and
“CTR +KEY BD”

Remove “ ENS BD (PWR BTN BD)
FFC” from I/F BD
Unlock 4 screws on Main SHD
(Screw Torque: 4.5±0.5kgf)

Unlock 2 Trim screws
(Screw Torque: 1.8~2.0kgf)

Remove Backlight wire from SPS BD

Remove conductive cloth and acetate
tape from panel
Unplug “ VDS FFC cable” and “WIRE
6P/10P” from panel
Take off Main SHD from Panel

Unlock 13 MF screws
(Screw Torque: 4.5±0.5kgf)

Disassemble Middle Frame and “BZ
CHIN” from panel

Unlock 2 screws from Middle Frame
Disassemble PWR BTN from Middle
Frame
(Screw Torque: 1.8~2.0kgf)

Unlock 2 screws from PWR BTN
Disassemble “ ENS BD (PWR BTN
BD)” from PWR BTN
(Screw Torque: 0.95~1.05kgf)

Tear off 2 tape on the connector of
Backlight wire
Remove Backlight wire from panel

Remove 2 pieces of small Mylar on the
Panel

Remove Mylar from SPS BD

Unlock 8 PCBA screws
(Screw Torque: 8.5±1.0kgf)

Disassemble I/F BD from Main SHD
and remove SPS BD wire from I/F BD
Disassemble SPS BD from Main SHD

Remove “ VDS FFC cable” and “WIRE
6P/10P” from I/F BD

Remove electrolyte capacitors (red mark) from printed circuit boards
S22-1 Cut the glue between bulk cap. and PCB with a knife
S22-2 Ensure cutting path within the glue, don’t touch bulk cap. or PCB

S22-3 Take out bulk cap. pin solder with soldering iron and absorber
S22-4 ift the bulk cap. up and away from the PCB
