Dell™Latitude™XFR D630
FULLY-RUGGED NOTEBOOK
STEP 1:
TURN IT ON.
STEP 2:
BRING IT ON.
Dell™Latitude™XFR D630 FULLY-RUGGED NOTEBOOK
Dell has changed the way people look at the rugged industry once again with the introduction
of the Dell™ Latitude™ XFR D630 Fully-Rugged Notebook. With Dell, you get state-of-the-art
technologies, the highest performance, the smartest security and the most robust functionality.
COMMON IT PLATFORM.
UNCOMMON STRENGTH.
Dell™ Latitude™ XFR Notebooks maintain the same
BIOS, Firmware, Drivers, Image, and Utilities as our
standard D-family Latitude platforms. Customers
adopting common D-family platforms now have a
100% compatible, fully-rugged system to address
their most challenging applications.
In addition, IT managers have a single support
model which will help reduce complexity and
improve eciency while supporting deployed
systems.
RUGGED DESIGN.
The XFR is the result of superior design expertise
and a proven Armored Protection System™ (APS),
which is comprised of three powerful elements
– Advanced Construction Materials, Unique
Engineering Designs and Independent MIL-STD-
810F Testing.
ARMORED PROTECTION

RUGGED AND READY
BIGGER. BRIGHTER. SHARPER.
Take advantage of the 14.1” wide-aspect LCD with
DirectVue™ technology - one of the largest in the
rugged industry - rated as brighter, sharper and
more vivid for excellent readability. The Latitude
XFR DirectVue™ technology oers optimal sunlight
readability because of its increased brightness,
reduced reflectivity, and proprietary optical
enhancements. An optional Touch screen is
available that supports reliable finger (gloved) and
passive stylus inputs.
LOWER COST OF OWNERSHIP
Because the XFR will continue to operate through
drops, shocks, spills, extreme temperatures,
vibrations and other challenging conditions found
in the harshest environments, you’ll be able to
experience more uptime and less maintenance with
this fully-rugged system. And deployment, support,
and training costs will be lower because the XFR
shares the same architecture as Dell Latitude
D-family notebooks.
IN SHORT, THE XFR TAKES
WHATEVER YOU THROW AT IT
OR THROW IT AT.
Best outdoor-readable screen of any
notebook currently on the market.
