Adjusting the thermostat
When the room has reached the required temperature, turn the thermostat slowly until a "click"
is heard and no further. This temperature will be regulated automatically and kept constant by
the thermostat.
Automatic Safety Cut Out
This heater is fitted with an automatic cut out to prevent any damage due to overheating. The
heater will automatically cut out if the airflow is obstructed. To reset the stove, disconnect the
plug from the power socket for a few minutes, remove the cause of obstruction and allow a
suitable cooling period before plugging it in again.
Noise
As with all fan driven appliances the stove will make some noise due to the movements of air
occurring, this is perfectly normal.
Maintenance
Before any maintenance/cleaning is undertaken always disconnect the stove from the power
supply and allow to cool down.
Replacing light bulbs
Tools required: screwdriver (not included in the box).
Remove the coal or the pebbles from the internal support then remove the support by removing
the screw provided as shown in figure 1.
Please note that replacement bulbs are not covered by the guarantee of the product.
Cleaning
The stove can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. Do not use metal polish or harsh scouring
agents.
WARNINGS
• Do not use the stove in a bathroom or in the vicinity of bathtubs, washbasins, showers or
swimming pools.
• Do not use the stove to dry your laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles (dan-
ger of overheating).
• Never install the stove directly underneath a fixed mains socket.
• Never for any reason cover the appliance during operation.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replace by the manufacturer or its service agent or
a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• The use of an extension lead is not recommended, as overheating of the extension lead
may occur during the operation of appliance.
• In order to avoid any danger caused by accidental resetting of the safety system, this
appliance must not be powered through an external timer.
• Do not use the fire in rooms which have an area as small as 4m2
• As with any electrical stove, whilst the instructions aim to cover as many eventualities as
possible, caution and common sense should be applied when operating your appliance,
particularly in the vicinity of small children.
