Cleaning
The stove can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. Do not use metal polish or harsh scouring
agents.
Service and Customer Care
-If the cord is damaged it must, for safety reasons, be repaired by De’Longhi or an authori
sed De’Longhi repairer.
-Please refer to the enclosed guarantee leaflet for service and assistance details.
SAFETY WARNINGS
•Do not use the stove in a bathroom or in the vicinity of bathtubs, washbasins, showers or
swimming pools.
•Do not use the stove to dry your laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles (dan-
ger of overheating).
•Never install the stove directly underneath a fixed mains socket.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replace by the manufacturer or its service agent or
a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. Please refer to enclosed guarantee
leaflet for details.
•The use of an extension lead is not recommended, however if
it is necessary then carefully follow the extension lead’s instructions, and most importantly
ensure that the extension lead is correctly rated in accordance with the appliance being used
and NEVER overloaded.
•In order to avoid any danger caused by accidental resetting of the safety system, this
appliance must not be powered through an external timer.
•Do not use the fire in rooms which have an area as small as 4m2
•As with any electrical stove, whilst the instructions aim to cover as many eventualities as pos-
sible, caution and common sense should be applied when operating your appliance, parti-
cularly in the vicinity of small children.
•Particular caution should be applied to ensure that young children do not play with or swal-
low any pebbles or coal.
•Should you wish to connect the fire to a fused spur, this must be carried out by a competent
electrician in accordance with the IEE wiring regulations.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance
•The front face of the heater must be positioned at least 50 cm from furniture, walls, curtains,
or other objects.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, never under any circumstances cover the
appliances during operation, as this would lead to dangerous overheating.
