FAQ for Baby Monitor
When using the AC adaptor remove the batteries for safety purposes listed in the Adaptor
section. Once the Parent Unit has a power source. Press and hold the power button for
5 seconds. The green power light will blink on. The green light will blink green every 3
second indicating it is on. If the red link light is blinking, that means either your device isn’t
linked, or the Nursery Unit has lost power and should be placed into an appropriate power
source. Low battery alarm: When battery is low an alert “beep” will sound.
How can I turn on the parent unit?
Press the power button for a solid three (5) seconds, to turn on the parent unit.
How can I turn on the child unit?
When plug in the outlet, the child unit will turn on automatically. If not, press the power button
for a solid three (5) seconds, to turn on the child unit.
Why is there no sound from the parent unit?
• Increase the volume on the parent unit.
• Check if the baby unit is plugged in properly
• Check if the parent unit is on
• Check if the baby unit is on
• Check if the parent unit is link to the child unit
Why is the parent unit beeping?
Replace the battery from the parent unit. Or use the AC adapter provided to the product.
How can I extend the battery life of the parent unit?
Lower the volume from the parent unit.
Can the Baby Monitor operate plugged in rather than on batteries?
Yes, both the baby unit and parent unit can be left plugged in.
Are both baby unit and parent unit battery operated?
No, only the parent unit can be operated on three (3) AAA batteries.
How do I turn off the backlight?
Backlight turns off automatically after a few seconds of buttons being pushed.

sink, laundry tub, swimming pool, wet basement, etc.

This device is designed only to monitor the sounds of your child.
It will not alert you to your child’s silent activities or movement.
When using the monitor, you must still provide the supervision necessary for the
continued safety of your child.This product is not designed or intended for use
as a medical monitor.Always be sure that both the transmitter and receiver are
working properly and are within range of each other.
Keep Baby Unit away from heat sources, such as fireplaces, radiators, stoves, and TVs
or other appliances. Heat can damage the case or electrical parts.
DO NOT OPEN THE NURSERY UNIT OR PARENT UNITS OR ADAPTERS.
No user-serviceable parts inside. Risk of electrical shock, fire or death case or electrical parts.
• The adapter cords or plugs have been damaged.
• The unit has been exposed to liquids.
• Unit has been dropped or is damaged.

Battery Safety Information:
In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak uids that can cause a chemical
burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage:
• DO NOT mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: Alkaline,
standard (carbon zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted
batteries from the product. Dispose of batteries safely.
• DO NOT dispose of product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• DO NOT charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged
under adult supervision.
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which
the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
• Look for the FCC ID on the bottom of the Nursery Unit and inside the Battery
compartment on the Parent Unit.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If
this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
