I. Introduction
Non-contactphasesequencedetector 1000 iscompletelyindependentof
traditionalphase-sequence detectingmethodswhichmustpokethewiringpostsof
three-phasewireand connectthethree barealligatorclipsortestingpinsofPhase
Sequencemeter tothethree barefire wires. 1000 conducts thepincer-likenon-contact
inductivemeasurementinsteadofpokingthewiresand contactingthebare
high-voltagefire wires. Itdirectlyusesthethree super-inductivehigh-insulatingpliers
toclamptheinsulatingsheath ofthree-phasefirewires,respectivelytodetectthe
phasesequence.Atthesametime,itdisplaysthenormal-phaseorreverse-phasestate
ofphasesequenceinthree-phasepower supply.
Thethree super-inductivehigh-insulating pliersof 1000 are madeofPermalloywhich
hashigh magneticPermeabilityin WeakMagneticField.Sothesensitivityand
reliabilityhavebeenimprovedsignificantlyin detectinginduction.Moreover,the
displaywindow is

V. Operation Method
1. Phase-Sequence Detection

(1) Detectingtheconnection
Arbitrarilyusethreeplierstoclampthedetectedthree-phasewires
(showninrightfigure)
(2) Thedetectedwiresare atthelocation ofplierssymbol “”(Shown
infigurebelow)
(3) Pressredpower-onkey “ON”,theLCDbacklightonbluescreenlightsup
andthepower-on indicatorisalsoturnedon.Meanwhile,R-SandS-T
flashesonetime. Thenormalpower-onstateisshowninFigure1.
(4) Intheprocessofdetection, when4phase-sequence and1arrow indicatorslight
upinturnclockwise,simultaneouslythesymbol “R”illuminatesandbothR-S and
S-Tare flashingintermittently,theclampedphasewire isofnormalphasesequence
(shownin Figure 2).Onthecontrary,when4phase-sequence and1arrow indicators
lightupinturncounter-clockwise,simultaneously “L”illuminatesandbothR-Sand
S-Tare flashingintermittently,theclampedphasewireis ofreversephasesequence
(showninFigure 3).
(5) Pressthewhitepower-off key “OFF”, thedetectorwill beautomatically
shutdown about3minutesafter itstarts.Thiscasewill lower the
power consumption ofbattery.
Note: Whenthepower-onLCD displayturnsrelatively dark,thecapacityof
batteryispossibly insufficient.Pleasereplacethebatteryaccordingtothe
indicationinthismanual.
2. Live wire detection and simple electricity detection
Dangerous! High Voltage!Please be careful!
(1) Useanyplierstoclampthedetectedwire.If thewire hascurrent (inthe
rangeAC70~600Vsetbylive-wire voltage),R-SorS-Tlightwill flash
intermittently.Therefore,thedetectorcandetectwhetherthewirehas
currentand whetherthereislinefailure.

VI. Replacing Battery
Pleasepayattention to the polarityofbattery!
1.Before replacingbattery,mustmovepliersawayfromthedetectedwires.
Don treplacebatteryduringtesting.
2.Presskey “OFF”toshutoffthedetector(FigureA)
3. Looseascrewontherear cover ofbatteryandthenopenthe
rear cover (Figure B)
4.Replacewithbrand-newqualifiedbatteries.Pleasepayattentiontothe
polarityandspecificationsofbattery(Figure C).
5.Closetherearcover andtightenthescrew(FigureD).
6.Press key “ON”.Checkifthedetectorcanstartnormally,otherwiserepeat
step3orcheckifthecapacityofbatteryissufficient.
