1Allgemeine Hinweise
Die Hinweise und Anweisungen dieser Betriebsanleitung sind einzuhalten und zu beachten. Jede Person,
die mit der Aufstellung, Bedienung, Wartung und Reparatur des Produktes befasst ist, muss die Betriebs-
anleitung gelesen und verstanden haben.
Gegenüber den Darstellungen und Angaben in der Betriebsanleitung sind technische Änderungen, die der
Verbesserung des Lagersystems dienen, vorbehalten.
HINWEIS
Die nationalen Vorschriften und Sicherheitsbestimmungen bezüglich Gefahrstoffen, Si-
cherheitsvorschriften, Betriebssicherheit und Betreiberpflichten beachten.
1.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die PolySafe-Depots Typ K sind zur Lagerung im Innen- und im Außenbereich von wassergefährdenden
Stoffen aller Wassergefährdungsklassen WGK 1-3 nach WHG / VAUwS mit einem Flammpunkt über
100°C, aufbewahrt in verkehrsrechtlich zugelassenen Behältern, geeignet. Flüssigkeiten nach der Medien-
liste 40-1.1 des DIBt mit Abminderungsfaktoren A2 = 1,0 erfordern keinen gesonderten Nachweis der Dich-
tigkeit und Beständigkeit, wie ebenfalls die Stoffgruppen: wässrige Lösungen organischer Säuren bis 10%,
Mineralsäuren bis 20 % sowie sauer hydrolysierender Salze in wässriger Lösung (ph<6) außer Flusssäure
und oxidierend wirkende Säuren und Salze, anorganische Laugen sowie alkalisch hydrolysierende Salze
in wässriger Lösung (pH > 8), ausgenommen Ammoniaklösungen und oxisierend wirkende Lösungen von
Salzen (z.B. Hypoclorit), Lösungen anorganischer nicht oxidierender Salze mit einem pH-Wert zwischen 6
und 8.
Das eingestellte Einbauregal, ist optimal zum Lagern und Umfüllen von Kleingebinden geeignet. Beim
Umfüllen wird durch die vorstehende Auffangwanne ein hohes Maß an zusätzlicher Sicherheit gewährleis-
tet.
Die Auffangwannen sind ausschließlich innerhalb der im Kapitel 4 „Technische Daten“ aufgeführten Leis-
tungsgrenzen zu verwenden.
1.2 Fehlanwendungen
Als Fehlanwendung gilt insbesondere:
Einlagern unzulässiger Stoffe: Die Beständigkeit des Wannenwerkstoffes gegenüber dem Lagerme-
dium muss nachgewiesen sein.
Das Einsetzen der Auffangwanne zu anderen, als in Kapitel 1.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
aufgeführten Zwecken.
Einlagern unzulässiger Gebinde: Die Gebinde müssen den verkehrsrechtlichen Vorschriften für das
Befördern gefährlicher Güter entsprechen.

Zusammenlegungsverbot: Medien, die miteinander reagieren können, nicht über derselben Auf-
fangwanne lagern.
Überschreiten von Lagermenge und Tragfähigkeit.
1.3 Mängelansprüche und Haftung
Mängel- und Haftungsansprüche bei Personen- und Sachschäden sind ausgeschlossen, wenn sie auf eine
oder mehrere der folgenden Ursachen zurückzuführen sind:
Nicht bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung.
Unsachgemäßes Montieren, Bedienen und Warten.
Eigenmächtige bauliche Veränderungen.
2Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG
Jede sicherheitsbedenkliche Arbeitsweise unterlassen.
Die geltenden Regeln für Sicherheit und Gesundheit bei der Arbeit beachten.
Feuer, offenes Licht sowie Rauchen verboten.
Verpackungen und Behälter müssen so beschaffen sein, dass sie den verkehrs-
rechtlichen Vorschriften entsprechen.
Nur Stoffe lagern, für die die Auffangwanne geeignet ist.
Tragkraft des Einbauregals darf nicht überschritten werden.
Stoffe so lagern, dass alle Gebinde und die Auffangwanne einsehbar sind.
Schneelasten sind unmittelbar vom Dach zu räumen!
3Transport, Aufstellen und Montage
3.1 Transport durch Hebezeug
Das Depot darf nur im unbeladenen Zustand transportiert werden.
Das Depot ist mit Gabelstapler oder Hubwagen zweiseitig unterfahr- und transportierbar.
3.2 Aufstellungsbedingungen
Das Depot darf nur auf ebenen und befestigten Flächen aufgestellt werden. Das Depot ist zur Aufstellung
im Freien oder zur Aufstellung in Räumen von Gebäuden geeignet. Das Depot darf nicht innerhalb von
Verkehrswegen aufgestellt werden und ist gegen die Beschädigung von Fahrzeugen durch entsprechende
Maßnahmen (z.B. Anfahrschutz) zu sichern. Bei einer Aufstellung im Freien ist das Depot vor Windeinwir-
kung, Niederschlag und direkter Sonneneinstrahlung ausreichend zu schützen (z.B. durch Überdachung).

3.3 Montage und Aufstellung
Entfernen Sie die Verpackungsfolie
Richten Sie das PolySafe-Depot K am
endgültigen Aufstellort aus (Unterlegplat-
ten liegt bei), so das es waagerecht aus-
gerichtet ist.. Die Doppelflügeltür muss
parallel zum Korpus stehen.
Bei korrekter Ausrichtung muss die Doppelflügel-
tür einwandfrei schließen und verriegelt werden
können.
Befestigungsset (optional)
Markieren sie die Befestigungspunkte .
Bohren sie die Dübel-Löcher (ø12mm,
140mm tief) für die mitgelieferten Boden-
anker
Bodenanker in die Bohrungen einsetzen
PolySafe-Depot ausrichten (ggf. die Un-
terlegplatten benutzen)
Befestigen sie das Depot mit Hilfe der
Befestigungswinkel (4x) am Boden und
der Innengewinde am Wannenrand.
Muttern mit einem Drehmoment von Tinst
= 45 Nm anziehen.

4Technische Daten
Das Depot wird aus witterungsbeständigem, korrosionsfreien Polyethylen (PE-LLD) produziert. Die Dop-
peflügeltüren sind abschließbar. Das Depot ist vorbereitet zur Bodenbefestigung. Die Einsatztemperatur
beträgt -20°c bis +40°C.

5.2 Beladung des Depots
Öffnen Sie die Türen des Depots
.Ausschließlich für das Be- und Entladen von Hand bestimmt.
Kontrollieren sie die Behälter nach dem absetzen auf sicheren Stand.
Beim Abfüllen muss der Handhabungsbereich über der Auffangwanne liegen, Abfüllgefäße (z.B.

Kannen) dürfen nicht über den Wannenrand hinausragen.
Verschließen sie nach Beendigung des Ladevorgangs die Türen.
6Wartung und Pflege
Regelmäßige Pflege und Wartung verlängert die Lebensdauer des Depots.
HINWEIS
Auffangwanne trocken und frei von Verschmutzungen halten
Auffangwanne regelmäßig, auch an der Unterseite, auf ausgelaufene Flüssigkeit
prüfen
Ausgelaufenen Flüssigkeit umgehend schadlos beseitigen
Die Schlösser und Scharniere mit handelsüblichen Fett abschmieren
Die Schraubenverbindungen der Bodenbefestigung überprüfen und ggf. nachziehen.
Verwenden sie ausschließlich Originalersatzteile des Herstellers
7Entsorgung
HINWEIS
Vor der Entsorgung ist die Auffangwanne gründlich von eventuellen Gefahrstoffrück-
ständen zu reinigen!
Die Auffangwanne besteht im wesentlichen aus Kunststoff und Metallteilen. Führen sie nach der Außerbe-
triebnahme die Entsorgung der anfallenden Abfallstoffe nach den regionalen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen
durch.

8General instructions
The instructions in this user manual must be carefully followed and adhered to. All those involved in the
installation, operation, maintenance and repair of the product must have read and understood this user
manual.
We reserve the right to make technical changes to the illustrations and details in the user manual in order
to improve the storage system.
NOTE
The national guidelines and safety regulations with respect to hazardous materials, safe-
ty regulations, occupational safety and operator duties must be observed.
8.1 Intended use of the equipment
PolySafe Depots Type K are suited to the storage of water-polluting substances in all water-polluting clas-
ses WGK 1-3 in accordance with WHG / VAUwS (Water Hazard Law / Ordinance on Facilities for Handling
Substances Hazardous to Water) with a flashpoint over 100°C, which are stored in approved containers,
either indoors or outdoors. Fluids in accordance with DIBt media list 40-1.1 with a reduction ratio A2 = 1.0
require no special proof of sealing and resistance, which also applies to the following materials groups:
aqueous solutions of organic acids up to 10%, mineral acids up to 20 % as well as acid hydrolising salts in
an aqueous solution (ph<6) apart from hydrofluoric acid and oxidising acids and salts, inorganic alkalis as
well as alkali hydrolising salts in an aqueous solution (pH > 8), with the exception of ammonia solutions
and oxidising solutions of salts (eg hypochlorite), solutions of inorganic non-oxidising salts with a pH value
between 6 and 8.
The shelving rack is suitable for the storage and dispensing of small containers. When dispensing, the
protruding spill pallet gives a high degree of additional safety.
The spill pallets should be used exclusively within the performance parameters listed in 4 "Technische
Daten".
8.2 Misuse
The following are considered as misuse:
Storage of inadmissible materials: The resistance of the spill pallet material to the storage medium
must be demonstrated.
Use of the spill pallet for purposes other than those specified in Section 1.1 Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung.

Storage of inadmissible containers: Containers must comply with the guidelines for the transport of
hazardous goods.
Unapproved combinations: Media which can react with one another may not be stored above the
same spill pallet.
Exceeding storage quantity and load capacity.
8.3 Claims for defects and liability
We are not liable for claims for defects, damage or injury to persons or property caused by one or more of
the following:
Improper use of the equipment.
Incorrect installation, operation and maintenance.
Unapproved modifications.
9Safety instructions
WARNING
Refrain from any unsafe working practices.
Observe the applicable rules for health and safety at work.
No fire, naked flames or smoking.
Packaging and containers must meet the transport regulations.
Only store materials for which the sump is designed.
Do not exceed the load capacity of the shelf.
Store materials so that all containers and the spill pallet are visible.
Any build-up of snow on the roof must be removed immediately.
10 Transport, placement and installation
3.1 Transport using lifting equipment
Transport the Depot only when empty.
The Depot can be lifted and transported from two sides by a forklift truck or a pallet truck.
3.2 Conditions for placement
The Depot must only be assembled on even, paved surfaces. The Depot is suitable for installation out-
doors or indoors. The Depot must not be located on a roadway and must be protected from damage by

vehicles using appropriate means (eg impact protection barriers). When located outdoors, the Depot must
have sufficient protection from wind, rain and snow etc. and direct sunshine (eg with a shelter).
3.3 Installation and placement
Remove the packing foil.
Ensure the PolySafe Depot K is installed
level at the final placement location (base
plates are available). The double wing
doors must be parallel to the body.
When correctly installed, the double wing doors
should be able to be easily closed and locked.
Mounting kit (optional)
Mark the mounting points.
Drill the holes (ø12mm, 140mm deep) for
the ground anchors supplied.
Fit the ground anchors in the holes.
Install the PolySafe Depot (using the
base plates if necessary).
Secure the Depot to the floor and secure
the mounting brackets (4x) to the internal
thread on the edge of the spill pallet.
Tighten the nuts to a torque of Tinst = 45
Nm.

The Depot is manufactured from weather resistant, corrosion-free polyethylene (PE-LLD). The double wing
doors can be locked. The Depot is supplied ready for mounting to the floor. Operational temperature range:
-20°c to +40°C.

12.2 Loading the Depot
Open the depot doors.
The racking is suitable for loading and unloading by hand only.
Check containers are stable after setting them down.
When filling, the handling area must be over the spill pallet, dispensing containers (eg cans) must

not extend over the edge of the spill pallet.
Close the doors once loading is complete.
13 Maintenance and care
Regular maintenance and care will extend the life of the Depot.
NOTE
Keep the spill pallet dry and free from contamination.
Check the spill pallet regularly for leaked fluids, and check underneath too.
Safely dispose of leaked fluids immediately.
Lubricate the locks and hinges with commercially available grease.
Check and if necessary tighten the floor mounting bolts.
Only use manufacturer's original replacement parts.
14 Disposal
NOTE
Before disposal clean the spill pallet thoroughly to remove any hazardous material resi-
due.
The spill pallet is made from mainly plastic and metal parts. After decommissioning, follow local legislation
when disposing of any waste.

15 Indications générales
Les conseils et les instructions contenus dans ce mode d'emploi doivent être observés et respectés. Toute
personne concernée par le montage, l'utilisation, l'entretien et la réparation du produit doit avoir lu et com-
pris les consignes d’utilisation.
En ce qui concerne les illustrations et les informations figurant dans le manuel d’utilisation, nous nous ré-
servons le droit d’apporter des modifications techniques, en vue d’améliorer le système de stockage.
REMARQUE
Respecter les prescriptions nationales et les dispositions de sécuritérelatives aux pro-
duits dangereux, prescriptions de sécurité, àla sécuritéd’exploitation et aux obligations
de l’exploitant.
15.1 Utilisation conforme aux dispositions
Le box de stockage type K est prévu pour le stockage intérieur et extérieur de substances dangereuses
pour l’eau, entrant dans toutes les catégories de risque pour les eaux (WGK 1 à3) selon la législation
allemande (Loi sur les eaux domestiques, WHG / Ordonnance sur les équipements pour le traitement des
substances dangereuses pour l’eau, VAUws) avec un point d’inflammation au-dessus de 100 °C, conser-
vées dans des containers autorisés par le droit de la circulation. Les liquides figurant dans la liste des mé-
dias 40-1.1 établie par le DIBt (Institut allemand des techniques de construction), avec des effets de ralen-
tissement A2= 1,0, ne nécessitent pas de preuve distincte d’étanchéitéet de résistance, comme les
groupes de substances suivants : solutions aqueuses d’acides organiques jusqu’à10 %, acides minéraux
jusqu’à20 %, ainsi que les sels acides hydrolisants dans les solutions aqueuses (ph < 6) sauf les acides
fluorhydriques et les acides et sels àeffet oxydant, saumures minérales et sels alcalins hydrolisants dans
les solutions aqueuses (pH > 8), àl’exception des solutions ammoniacales et des solutions àeffet oxydant
de sels (par ex. hypochlorites), solutions de sels minéraux non oxydants avec un pH compris entre 6 et 8.
Le rayonnage intégréest idéal pour le stockage et le transvasement de petits récipients. Lors du transva-
sement, le bac de rétention permet de garantir un haut niveau de sécurité.
Les bacs collecteurs doivent être utilisés exclusivement dans les limites indiquées dans le chapitre 4 «Ca-
ractéristiques techniques ».
15.2 Utilisations non-conformes
Voici une liste des principales utilisations non-conformes :
Stockage de substances non autorisées. la résistance du matériau du bac de rétention au produit de
stockage doit être justifiée.

L’utilisation du bac de rétention àd’autres fins que celles indiquées au chapitre 1.1 «Utilisation con-
forme ».
Stockage de récipients non autorisés : les récipients doivent être conformes aux dispositions en ma-
tière de législation des transports de matières dangereuses.
Interdiction de stockage simultanéde différentes substances : ne pas stocker des produits qui pour-
raient interagir entre eux au-dessus du même bac de rétention.
Ne pas dépasser la quantitéde stockage et la capacitéde charge admissibles.
15.3 Réclamations pour vices et responsabilité
Toute revendication de vices ou de responsabilitérelative àdes dommages physiques et matériels est
exclue lorsque ces dommages sont imputables àune ou plusieurs des causes suivantes :
Utilisation non-conforme.
Montage, utilisation et entretien non-conformes.
Modifications arbitraires de la construction.
16 Consignes de sécurité
AVERTISSEMENT
Éviter tout mode opératoire négligeant la sécurité.
Les règles en vigueur en matière de sécuritéet de santéau travail doivent être res-
pectées.
Il est interdit de faire du feu, d'exposer les substances àune lumière nue et de fu-
mer.
Les emballages et les conteneurs doivent être conformes aux dispositions en ma-
tière de législation des transports.
Stocker uniquement des substances adaptées au bac de rétention.
La capacitéde charge du rayonnage intégréne doit en aucun cas être dépassée.
Les substances sont àstocker de manière àavoir une vue directe sur tous les réci-
pients et sur le bac de rétention.
Les charges de neige doivent immédiatement être nettoyées du toit !
17 Transport, pose et montage
3.1 Transport par un engin de levage
Le box doit uniquement être transportéen mode non chargé.
Le box peut être soulevéou transporté, pris des deux côtés, par chariot élévateur ou transpalette.

3.2 Conditions d'installation
Le box peut uniquement être installésur des surfaces planes et consolidées. Le box est adaptépour être
poséen plein air ou dans des bâtiments. Il ne doit pas être installésur des voies de communication et doit
être protégécontre les dommages provoqués par les véhicules, àl’aide de mesures appropriées (par ex.
protection contre les chocs). En cas d’installation en plein air, le box sera suffisamment protégécontre les
effets du vent, des précipitations et des rayons directs du soleil (par ex. par une toiture).
3.3 Montage et pose
Retirer le film d’emballage.
Disposer le box PolySafe K sur son em-
placement définitif (des plaques de com-
pensation sont fournies), afin qu’il soit
bien horizontal. La porte àdeux battants
doit être parallèle au bâti.
Pour une disposition adéquate, la porte àdeux
battants doit pouvoir être fermée et verrouillée
correctement.
Jeu de fixation (en option)
Marquer les points de fixation.
Percer les trous des chevilles (ø12 mm,
140 mm de profondeur) pour les an-
crages au sol fournis.
Mettre en place les ancrages au sol dans
les trous.
Disposer le box PolySafe (le cas échéant,
utiliser les plaques de compensation).
Fixer le box àl'aide des équerres de fixa-
tion (4x) au sol et du filetage intérieur du
bac au bord du bac.
Serrer les écrous àun couple de Tinst =
45 Nm.
