1. Place the toothbrush handle on the charger base and
plug it into the electrical outlet.
2. The charge indicator light
the unit is charging.
3. After the battery is fully
charged (about 24 hours),
all three sections of the
charge indicator light will
illuminate solid green,
indicating the toothbrush is
fully charged.
4. When fully charged, the
toothbrush can be used
up to 20 pre-timed brush
cycles, approximately 10 days, if brushing twice daily.
5. The toothbrush must be charged 24 hours if:
a.
b. the toothbrush has not been used for at least
c. the charge is drained from normal use.
Note: While the toothbrush is charging, it will be inoperable.
Note: To keep the battery fully charged at all times you
may keep your toothbrush in the charger when not in use.
It takes approximately 24 hours to fully charge the battery.
Using the Toothbrush
help remove plaque that can lead to the progression of
gingivitis and periodontal (gum) disease by helping clean
hard-to-reach areas where harmful bacteria are found.

Better Health Starts Here®DentistRx Revolation 11
Your Revolation comes with three unique brush heads.
First, select the brush head that is best for you.
Everyday: For overall, general cleaning and stain-removal
from teeth above and along the gum line. This hollow-tip
brush head can also aid in the application of oral rinses,
Perio:
the elongated tip is designed to clean effectively between
teeth, along the gum line and other hard to reach areas.
Ortho: Particularly effective for patients with large spaces
between teeth, under bridges or around braces, wires,
1. Select the appropriate brush head and attach it by
lowering it onto the toothbrush handle and twisting
it slightly to the left.
2. Using the mode selection button, select the mode
you prefer for your brushing session or the one
recommended by your dental provider.
a. Normal: Completely
cleans your teeth
and gums.
b. Sensitive: Thorough but
gentle cleaning of sensitive
areas and tongue.
c. Pulse: Pulsates for gentle
gum stimulation. Also,
ideal mode for cleaning
between braces and
around bridges and
implants.

DentistRx Revolation 11
Note: If you alter the mode during the brush cycle, the
two-minute brush cycle will reset.
3. Wet the toothbrush bristles and place a small
amount of toothpaste on the brush. Gel toothpaste
is recommended over other types of toothpaste.
4. Place the bristles gently against the teeth at a
90-degree angle and ensure the bristles are in close
contact with the space between teeth and gums.*
When using a revolving toothbrush, it is best to use
a “M” pattern when brushing your upper teeth and a
“W” pattern when brushing the lower teeth.
5. Press the power button to turn on the toothbrush.
6. Apply light pressure and hold the brush in place for a
few seconds. There’s no need to scrub. The rotary
action of the Revolation will do the work for you.
7. Move to the next tooth and continue to slowly move
the brush head across each tooth for the entire two-
minute cycle, using the “M” and “W” pattern and
ensuring that the bristles touch all tooth surfaces,
particularly at the gum line.
*For teeth with braces it may not be possible to hold
the brush head at a 90-degree angle. Use this angle
wherever possible, how-
ever, and make sure you
effectively clean the wires
and brackets to remove
plaque build-up in these
areas. The pulsating mode,
used with the Ortho brush
head, is ideal for cleaning
these hard-to-reach areas
around brackets and braces.

Brushing Time
1. In order to maximize cleaning effectiveness, divide
your mouth into four sections.
Start with Section 1 and brush
all tooth surfaces in each
section for 30 seconds. The
brushing action will pause
between each 30-second
interval, indicating when to
move on to the next section.
The toothbrush will automatically
stop after two minutes of use.
Note: If it becomes necessary to stop the brushing action
before the two-minute cycle ends, re-press the start button.
Note: If you change the cleaning mode during the brushing
cycle, the two-minute timer will reset and start over.
2. After completing the brushing cycle, you can spend
additional time brushing the chewing surfaces of
your teeth and areas where staining occurs. You may
also brush your tongue, with the toothbrush turned
on or off, according to your personal preference or
your dentist’s recommendation.
Note: The Revolation is also safe to use on:
Braces (brush heads may require more frequent
replacement)
Dental implants (please ask your dentist or dental
hygienist for instructions on how to properly clean and
take care of your dental implants)
Additional Oral Care Needs
Periodontal pockets: Pay particular attention to areas of
your mouth where you might have periodontal pocketing
(places where bacterial plaque can collect deep below
the gum line). Spend extra time thoroughly working the
bristles in these areas. Ask your dental healthcare provid-
er to help you identify these and other areas of concern
in your mouth.
