DESIGNATION
The Manual uses a series of symbols to draw the user’s attention to
features, problems, and dangerous situations as may be encountered in
the course of the use and maintenance of the device.
CAUTION!
This symbol indicates a dangerous situation that, if not eliminated, could result in
equipment damage.
NOTE!
This symbol indicates additional information about the rules, methods, and
recommendations for correct use of the device.
INTRODUCTION
This User Manual is intended for study of the design and function of miner’s
waist belt DEZEGA WAIST BELT (hereinafter referred to as the DWB or belt)
to ensure its correct daily intended use.
The manual covers intended use, application, basic specifications, design
and rules on preparation of the belt for use, information on marking, scope
of delivery, transportation conditions, storage and disposal of the belt.
NOTE!
Do not start using the belt without getting familiarized with the manual.

1. INTENDED USE AND APPLICATION
The belt is designed for everyday carrying of Ci-30 KS, Ci-40 and other
belt worn self-contained self-rescuers. Moreover, the belt is fit for carrying
mining lamp battery and securing other auxiliary tools.
2. RESPONSIBILITY
DEZEGA will not take responsibility for any losses related to improper use
or misuse of the belt. Responsibility for proper use is taken by the user.
If the requirements of this User Manual, transportation and storage
conditions specified in this manual are breached, the user shall forfeit the
right to claim damages and warranty service.
NOTE!
The manufacturer is entitled to introduce minor structural changes to the design of the
belt not impacting its functioning in order to enhance its service performance without
notification.

5. MARKING
Each belt bears marking indicating the following:
1 – product description;
2 – manufacturer’s trademark;
3 – material;
4 – serial number in SSSSSРММYY format, where SSSSS – is a sequential
serial number, Р – place of production (Т – Turkey, DEZEGA SP),
ММ – month of production, YY – year of production;
5 – manufacturer’s contact information.

6. BELT CONFIGURATION
The belt (fig. 1) consists of a waist belt fastened on user’s waist with the
use of a buckle and a grip, and with its loose ends secured by braces and
a clamp. The auxiliary belt is firmly attached to the waist belt centrally and
its ends shall be secured by inserting the pins into the locks.

7. INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCT
7.1. Preparation of the belt for service
Prior to putting the belt into service, it shall be visually inspected for any
visible damages and violation of integrity of its components, consistency
of marking as per section 5 and compliance with the scope of delivery
specified in section 4.

7.2. Belt length adjustment
The belt can be securely attached on the waist with waistline size from 800
mm to 1300 mm. Its length shall be adjusted individually for the user. The
belt is extended using the buckle and grip as shown in fig. 2. To shorten the
belt, perform the same operations in the opposite direction.

7.3. Putting on the belt
The belt can be quickly secured around the user’s waist using the buckle
and grip:
1. Put the belt around the waist.

2. Engage the grip into the buckle slot.
3. Secure the grip in the buckle.

7.4. Putting on and removal of self-rescuer
1. Remove the auxiliary belt pin from the lock.
2. Draw the auxiliary belt through the self-rescuer belt loops.

3. Secure pins in the lock.
NOTE!
Removal of the self-rescuer shall be performed in the reverse order.

7.5. Removal of the belt
1. Pull the grip beyond the edge.
2. Introduce the grip into the buckle slot.

8. DAILY CARE AND CLEANING
Wipe the surface with a soft rag for daily care in order to remove coal dust
and other contaminants from the belt surface.
NOTE!
Soap water solution can be used for more thorough cleaning.
CAUTION!
The use of chemical solvents is FORBIDDEN!
Periodic preventive care includes cleaning of cloth and steel surfaces
with 3-5% soap solution in warm water 35-50 °С. Solid laundry soap or
liquid soap without dyes and aromatizers shall be used to prepare the
soap solution. Exposure time of the solution shall not exceed 15 min.
Cleaning shall be done with a rag damped in the soap solution followed
by wiping the surface with a flannel damped in clean water and, finally,
with a dry flannel. The belt shall be dried by warm air with a temperature
of max. 60 °С or in a drying cabinet or air drier.
9. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
Packed belts shall be transported in enclosed transport: railway cars,
containers, enclosed cars, cargo holds, when transporting by plane –
in heated sealed compartments. Transportation conditions shall meet
group 5 storage conditions and group 3 storage conditions for carriage
by sea.
The belts shall be stored in original packaging in compliance
with group 1 storage conditions, away from combustibles.
Protect boxes with the belts against exposure to direct sunlight and
keep them at least 1 m away from heating devices during storage.
Transportation conditions of the belts being exported shall comply with
the requirements of contractual delivery documents.

10. DISPOSAL
The belt shall be disposed in accordance with the regulations and
rules of the country of use. Please contact relevant state agencies for
clarification.
11. MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
The warranty storage and operation life is six months starting from the
day of putting into service. The design service life is three years.
The manufacturer is obliged to replace and repair faulty belts within the
warranty period subject to observance of storage and use condition.
The warranty does not cover mechanical damages, natural wear and
tear, change or alteration of the structure, incorrect storage, improper
use, poor care.

ВВЕДЕНИЕ
Настоящее руководство по эксплуатации предназначено для
изучения устройства и принципа работы ремня шахтного поясного
DEZEGA WAIST BELT (далее по тексту - DWB или ремень) с целью его
правильной ежедневной эксплуатации по назначению.
В руководстве описаны назначение, область применения ремня,
основные технические характеристики, устройство и правила
подготовки ремня к работе, сведения о маркировке, комплектности
поставки, условиях транспортирования, хранения и утилизации.

Не приступайте к использованию ремня, не ознакомившись с руководством.

1. НАЗНАЧЕНИЕ И ОБЛАСТЬ ПРИМЕНЕНИЯ
ИЗДЕЛИЯ
Ремень предназначен для ежедневного поясного ношения
самоспасателей Ci-30 KS, Ci-40 и других самоспасателей. Кроме
того, ремень подходит для ношения аккумуляторного блока шахтной
лампы и фиксации другого вспомогательного инструмента.
2. ИНФОРМАЦИЯ ОБ ОТВЕТСТВЕННОСТИ
DEZEGA не несет ответственности за убытки, связанные с
ненадлежащим использованием ремня или его использованием не
по назначению. Ответственность за использование ремня несет
пользователь.
В случае нарушения требований настоящего руководства по
эксплуатации, условий его транспортировки и хранения, приведенных
в данном руководстве, пользователь теряет право на возмещение
убытков и гарантийное обслуживание.
Производитель имеет право без уведомления вносить в конструкцию
ремня незначительные конструктивные изменения, не влияющие на
его работу, с целью улучшения эксплуатационных характеристик.
