Introduction
With a long lamp life, and very bright white light output, the Vega fits perfectly in situations where
tungsten halogen, or even metal halide options would normally be specified. Very cool and almost silent
running combined with a small unit size, make this light source suitable for use in restricted spaces. Fitted
with a standard 30mm fibre port connector, this light source is suitable for both new installations and retro-
fitting to existing fibre optic installations.

Installation
Mounting
• Do not locate this luminaire closer than 200mm from any flammable surface.
•It is imperative that a gap of 200mm is left around the unit. This is to allow air to circulate and
prevent overheating. The location must have free ventilation and must not have an ambient
temperature higher than that specified for the luminaire.
Using Mounting Plate
1. Invert light source and remove the screws holding the 4 rubber feet in place. Leave rubber feet in
place
2. Align the plate against the feet and secure ti using the 4 screws removed in step 1.
3. Secure the fitting to the desired mounting surface using suitable fasteners.
Without Mounting Plate
Simply locate the light source on a flat surface with adequate ventilation.
