Introduction
A range of small, quiet fibre optic light sources powered by LED technology. Manufactured from durable
ABS and supplied as standard in a black finish. White and grey enclosures are available to special order. This
light source range utilises a white light LED array and is suitable for use with either glass or PMMA fibre. An
inbuilt decorative wheel allows for the creation of twinkling and/or colour change effects. These light
sources are also dimmable. Manual control is provided for dimming and varying the effects wheel speed.

Installation
Mounting
•Do not locate this luminaire closer than 200mm from any flammable surface.
•It is imperative that a gap of 200mm is left around the unit. This is to allow air to circulate and
prevent overheating. The location must have free ventilation and must not have a ambient
temperature higher than that specified for the luminaire.
Using Mounting Plate
1. Remove the rubber feet from the bottom of the lightsource.
2. Push fit 3 of the expansion fittings into the holes vacated by the feet as shown. DO NOT fit an
expansion fitting into the foot hole at the rear below the push buttons.
3. Place the mounting plate on the base ass shown and push the remaining expansion fitting through
the plate into the hole that does not have one fitted.
4. Fit all 4 screws and tighten. Do not over tighten.
5. Secure lightsource to desired mounting surface using suitable fasteners.
Without Mounting Plate
Simply locate the light source on a flat surface with adequate ventilation.
Fibre
1. Completely loosen the locking screw
from the fibre port.
2. Slide the fibre optic common end into
the fibre port.
3. Tighten the lock screw to secure the
common end in place.

on the back of the
lightsource.
2. Plug the plug pack into
electrical supply. Power
indicator should now
illuminate.
Operation
Unit begins operating once power is properly connected.
Dimming
Light level can be dimmed by pressing the Dimming control button on the rear of the lightsource. Each
press will take the light level a step brighter. Pressing the button again once at full brightness will cycle the
level back down to minimum.
Scintillation Wheel Speed
Rotation speed of the Scintillation wheel can be controlled using Wheel Speed button on the rear of the
lightsource. Each press will make a small increase in rotation speed. Pressing the button again once at
maximum speed will the cycle the speed to off.
