1 - FIRST TX-BOX POWER UP
1 - 1 TX-Box power up :
Once the TX-Box is plugged into the mains with its supplied adapter, press the «ON»
button. The TX-Box starts and loads the program.

1 - 2 Boot screen :
The TX-Box is congured as a DHCP Client by default. Therefore, when booting for the rst
time, if no DHCP server is connected yet to the network, a message asking if you want to
switch de TxBox to a DHCP Server will be displayed.
It is worth notice that this message will be displayed if nothing is connected to the
ethernet port behing the TX-Box as well (switch or an AccessPoint).
DHCP Server : The DHCP server attributes an IP address to every device requesting one on
the network.
DHCP Client : The IP address will be delivered by the DHCP server.
Switching from a DHCP client conguration to a server one can be done in the
corresponding network conguration menu (see TxBox user guide for more details).
ATTENTION : Having two DHCP servers on the same network will provoke IP address
conicts and the Digitear system will not operate properly.

2 - ACCESS POINT SETUP

The Access Point is a radio antenna for the connection between the Belt Pack and the TX-
Box. The antenna provided is manufactured by Microtik and distributed by their partners.
Overline Systems is not a distributor of this antenna, but applies a specic conguration on
the base antenna to optimize its use exclusively within the framework of the Digitear.
The AccessPoint can be powered up by the TxBox through the ethernet cable if its length
doesn’t exceede 10 meters. Longer cables will need the AccessPoint to be powered up
using its supplied POE adapter or using a (not supplied) POE ethernet switch.
For more details please refer to the AccessPoint user guide.
Once the Access Point is powered and connected to the TX-Box network, the Digitear is in
operation.

3 - BELTPACK AND INEAR
3 - 1 Turning on the Beltpack :

To turn the Beltpack up, press the center button until the Overline Systems logo appears
on the screen.
3 - 2 Turning on the Inear :
To turn on the Inear, press the button once.

When rst used, the InEar isn’t paired to any Beltpack, and the LED will blink rapidly during
120 seconds : it is in «discoverable mode».
Please refer to the InEar User’s guide for more detailed information on InEar modes.
3 - 3 Beltpack -> TX-Box connection :
The four devices are now turned on (Txbox, Beltpack, Inear, et AccessPoint).
Two steps are required for the Beltpack to be operating ::
- Connect it to the Digitear network
- Connect it to one of the TxBoxes present on the network.
For more detailed information, please refer to the Beltpack’s User’s Guide.
To connect to the Digitear network, chose it under the WLAN menu:

The Beltpack is now connected to a TxBox.
The TxBox now displays the following information:
Assigned
Reception Level of the Digitear
Network Battery level of the Beltpack
Those data are displayed in real time.

3 - 4 Beltpack -> Inear pairing :
To pair the Beltpack with an InEar, use the «Connect IE» menu. After validation, the
Beltpack will connect to the closest InEar in «discoverable» mode.
A noter :
- The InEar must be in «Discoverable» mode (see: «InEar user Guide»).
- The Beltpack can keep 2 InEar in its local memory at a time
- The Beltpack can stream music on 2 InEar at a time. Those two InEar must have been
paired with the Beltpack previously (cf : « InEar user’s guide »).
