SPECIFICATIONS Troubleshooting
Before removing youramplifier, referto the listbelow and followthe
suggested procedures, alwaystest the speakers and their wires first.
No Output confirm th at all terminal strip connections are secure and tight,
check both in-line , both the "+12V " and the "REMOTE"
terminals must have +12V referenced to chassis ground.
If the noiseis a " whose" whose pitch follows the engine speed,
confirm that the amplifier and any other signal sources (head
unit, etc ) are properly grounded
If the noiseis a "clicking" or " popping " noise whoserate follows
the engine speed, this usually means that the vehicle is equipped
with resistor sparkplugs and wires, or that the ignition is in need
of service.
Check the routing of the speaker and input wires to make sure
they are notadjacent to wires which interconnect lights and other
accessories.
Confirm that the audio signal source (car radio, equalizer, etc.)
Is connected and is supplying output signal. To check if the
amplifier is supplying signal, unplug the RCA cables from the
signal source (but leave them plugged into theamp ). Briefly tap
the center pinof each of the disconnected RCA plugs with your
finger, this should produce anoise (feedback ) in your speakers.
Only one
Channel
Works
Confirm that allspeaker connections are secure and tight.
Check the "BALANCE"control on the head unit ( or other source)
to verify thatit is set to its midpoint.
If you areusing the Low Level RCA Inputs, reverse the input plugs
at the amplifier( switch the R with the L), If the channel which is
silent switches to other side, the problem is either in the head
unit/other source orthe connecting cables.
Weak Output
Readjust the InputSensitivity Control to better suit the input signal.

Precautions
Before you drillor cut any holes, investigate your car's layout verycarefully. Take care when
you work nearthe gas tank, fuel lines, hydrauliclines and electricalwiring.
Do not operatethe amplifier when it is not mounted. Attachall audio system components
securely within theautomobile to prevent damage, especially incase of am accident.
Do not mountthis amplifier so that the wire connections are unprotected or in a pinched
condition, or likelyto be damaged by nearby objects.
Before making orbreaking power connections in your system, disconnect the vehicle
battery, Confirm that your head unit orother equipment is turned off while connecting the
input jacks andspeaker terminals.
If you needto replace the power fuse, replaceit only with a fuse identical to that supplied
with the system, using a fuse of different type or rating may result indamage to your
system which isn'tcovered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Electrical Wiring
When making electricalconnections to the amplifier, please observe the following;
Wire the amplifierdirectly to the car battery.
For the groundconnection, use the shortest possible wire to a goodchassis ground point.
Wire the Remoteconnection to the remote turn-on lead of your equalizeror head unit, in
some cases thismay be the power antenna lead of the headunit.
Fuses
Fuses protect boththe amplifier and the electrical system lf your vehicle,
Mounting the Amplifier
Mark the locationfor the mounting screw holes by positioning the amplifier where you
wish to installit and use a scribe (or one of themounting screws)inserted in each mounting
hole to markthe mounting surface, If the mountingsurface is carpeted, measure the hole
centers and markwith a felt tip pen.
Drill pilot holesin the mounting surface for the mounting screws andinsert the mounting
screws into theseholes. Tighten them securely.
Note: Be sureto take note of any wires, lines or otherdevices in your vehicle which may
be located behind any mounting surface!
