No unauthorized attachments or modifications are made to

Should the unit prove to be defective within the warranty period, it
will be repaired or replaced free of charge, at the election of the

unit are not performed by the DIVELINK factory.

OPERATORS MANUAL
For
CHG-QC4
Four port gang charger for
BAT-U01EM or BAT-U01EM-NIMH.
System Overview
The CHG-QC4 is a four port gang charger capable of quick
charging up to four batteries at the same time. It is equipped with
status LED's and housed in a robust extruded aluminum
enclosure.
Setup and Operation
Plug the supplied power cord into your charger and the other end
into the nearest wall outlet. When the unit has good power the
LED just above the power plug should light up. This is to indicate
that the charger is plugged in and ready to charge batteries.
To charge a battery, plug one of the charge cables into the
battery. If the battery is accepting a charge the status LED above
the cable on the gang charger should light up. Also on the battery
itself the charge state LED's should light up in sequence over
time, beginning with RED on the left.
Battery Overheating
This is a high capacity charger. If the battery being charged
overheats, then you must allow it to cool before attempting to
recharge. If overheated, a battery will turn OFF charge and wait
until it is cool to begin charging. CHARGE CUTOFF is indicated
by the gang charger light going out above the cable going to the
battery. It is also indicated in the battery pack by the right green
LED turning ON. (A fully charged
battery is of course indicated by all
the other lights ON however if some
are OFF then the pack is too hot.)
A battery that is charged in direct
sunlight, or is charging in a hot
room (over 20oC or 70oF) will
overheat.
Please charge batteries in a cool
environment and on a surface that
will absorb heat. It is normal for
batteries to heat up during the
charge cycle. For more information please refer to the
BAT-U01-EM-NIMH manual.
Setup and Operation Continued...
When the battery is finished charging the light will go out. Due to
the way the BAT-U01EM(-NIMH) functions you will notice that this
light blinks at a 1/16 duty cycle for about two hours before going
off solid. This is the trickle charge time.
Maintenance
There is little to maintain on this charger. It may be left plugged in
indefinitely, however it is recommended that it is unplugged after
each use. The charge port connectors should be kept clean and
free of debris and ensure that there is no moisture on the battery
terminals before plugging in the charger.
DO NOT CHARGE A BATTERY OTHER THAN A BAT-U01EM
WITH THE CHG-QC4!
