Setting Up DMX Connection with an E ternal Controller:
1. Connect the Hyper unit to a DMX Controller (not included) using an microphone
or data cable with XLR connectors. Multiple Hyper units may be connected by
daisy-chaining them together. (Note that XLR input and output jacks are wired in
parallel so that either may be used as input or output.)
2. Set the DMX Start Channel on the Hyper unit so that it is the same as the DMX
Start Channel on the lighting controller.
3. Adjust the DMX channels on the controller to manipulate the light as desired.
Typical DMX Operation:
1. Set Channel 4 (master dimmer) to maximun value.
2. Set Channels 1, 2, & 3 so that the desired color is achieved.
3. If strobing is desired, set Chanel 6 to 10 and adjust speed with Channel 5.
4. Set Channel 4 so that the desired overall brightness is achieved.
