1. Start
CONGRATULATIONS on your new hedge trimmer! Safe and problem-free work with the
machine depends on correct use. The mower is designed to be mounted on a suitable arm.
Get started :
1. Read and understand the manual before use, and familiarize yourself with the safety labels on
the machine.
2. Drive slowly for best results.
NB: Never use the machine for anything other than what it was designed for. Use caution when
working with tools with hydraulic hoses, as oil under pressure can penetrate the skin.
The mower can be used in different positions:
• Lateral to cut the side of the fence
• Horizontal position
Always adjust the forward travel speed according to the type of material to be cut.
Operation:
• When you have reached where the machine is to be used, remove the safety cover from the
cutting head.
• The hedge trimmer starts cutting when oil is supplied from the vehicle.
Spare parts
Always use original spare parts,

2. Security
• Do not attempt to connect or start the machine until all functions illustrated in the manual are
understood.
• Never leave the driver's seat of the towing unit while the engine or machine is running.
• If you need advice or help or if there is something in the manual that you do not understand,
please contact DK-TEC.
• The machine must not be modified. DK-TEC is not responsible for any damage if the
machine has been rebuilt.
• Never attempt to repair, adjust or work on the machine if it is not safe to do so.
• Before repairing or adjusting the machine, you must always make sure that the wheels on the
towing machine
device is securely blocked so that it cannot move.
• Before repairing or adjusting the machine, make sure that the engine of the towing unit is
completely stopped.
• Always pay attention to the area where you are operating the machine, including people
around you, buildings, power poles, etc.
• When driving or working with the machine, pay attention to the weather conditions!
Always comply with local laws when transporting the machine on roads.
• Always wear tight-fitting clothing when working with the machine.
• Never allow children to play on or around the mower.
• Always be sure the safety shields are properly fitted to protect the user from
flying material.
WARNING! Never approach the mower when it is working and keep hands, feet and clothing
away at all times.
It is forbidden to use the machine as a lifting tool.
• It must also not be used for digging or cutting materials that are not described in this
instruction manual.
• When working in the dark, the vehicle used must be equipped with a rotating
warning light and the workplace must be illuminated.

3. General instructions
1. Before attaching the hedge trimmer to the towing unit, ensure that it is standing securely on a
solid and watered surface. (It is important that you also take the mower off the pulling unit on a
solid and level surface so that it can be easily attached the next time it is used). Make sure that
the mower is properly mounted and securely fastened to prevent the mower from moving when
it is lifted.
2. Before or while operating the towing unit, in connection with connecting the mower, make
sure that there are no people too close to the work area. Make sure all people keep a good
distance. Always use caution when operating or attaching the mower to the towing unit.
3. Always ensure that the towing unit is braked when mounting the mower.
4. If it is necessary to inspect or adjust the mower when it is connected to the towing unit,
place some suitable supports under the towing unit
to avoid any lowering of the mower. Make sure all supports are on solid and level ground.
5. The mower must always be on solid and level ground when it needs to be adjusted or repaired.
6. Never work, adjust, maintain the mower while it is in use. Before starting to work,
adjust or maintain the machine, the mower must be stopped and the drive unit motor
must be switched off.
7. Before leaving the driver's seat of the towing unit, the engine must be switched off.
8. When transporting, the cutting head must be kept in a vertical position
9. Always use the mower with care. Use it only for what it is intended for. Do not overload
the mower as this may damage the machine or the pulling unit.
10. When removing the mower from the towing unit, the machine must be parked in a place
where it is not a danger to others.

that it is always safe to work with.

4. Connecting the hedge trimmer
When the machine is on a stable surface:
1. Mount the hedge trimmer
A) Mount the arm using the mounting brackets. The mower must turn with the cutting head to
the right (when looking in the direction of travel).
2. Connect hydraulic hoses to the hydraulic outlets on the towing unit.
Disconnecting the hedge trimmer
AFTER USE
1. Turn off the mower and make sure the blades have stopped before disconnecting the machine.
2. Place the machine on the ground.
3. Make sure the system is depressurized before disconnecting hydraulic hoses.
4. Switch off the towing unit and apply the parking brake.
5. Disconnect the machine from the towing unit and ensure that it cannot tip over.
6. If necessary, rinse the machine with water, but make sure to lubricate all bearings and
blades afterward.
6. Transportation of the hedge trimmer
Operation of the machine on the way
Before using the machine on public roads, you must familiarize yourself with the various laws and
regulations in the area where the machine is to be used.
- Always comply with the rules and laws when driving the machine!
When transporting the machine:
• Place the cutting head in a vertical position.
• If the mower has been moved sideways, it is returned to its normal position again.
• Refit the safety cover
In general, the towing unit must move with the traffic.
Always use traffic signs and make sure they are correctly positioned in relation to the work
to be done. Respect the traffic and make sure not to block others on the road.
Make sure that cyclists and other vehicles know in good time that they have to go around.
Comply with the laws regarding lights on the towing unit.

VERY IMPORTANT! Never transport people on the towing unit or on the machine. Never allow the
person to stand too close to the machine!
IMPORTANT!
Never start the machine while it is pointing towards the user or other people. Always work with the
machine focused on the material to be cut.
• Always have 5 meters of safe workplace around you.
• Be sure that no one is accidentally at the place to be worked on.
• When working on a public road with open traffic, safety signs must always be placed/
road triangle within the correct distance.
• Pay attention to traffic and be prepared for sudden stops.
7. Maintenance of the hedge trimmer
When the hedge trimmer needs maintenance, it must always stand on a stable base to prevent it
from tipping over. Always replace worn and damaged parts immediately to avoid accidents.
Maintenance:
• Lubricate all grease nipples at approx. every 18 working hours
• After approx. 20 working hours, check that all bolts and nuts are tight.
Storage
• Clean and check the machine for damage. If damage is found, it must be repaired before work
with the mower is started again.
• Store the mower in an area that is free from people and children. Children must not play near
the machine.
• Make sure the mower is on a stable surface to prevent it from tipping over.
• Fit the safety cover on the cutting head when storing.
