General Operation
Press this button to play next track or a next AM/FM step. In AM/FM
mode, press and hold this button to search next strong signal station.
Press MODE to switch between AM/FM, USB and AUX IN.
Pause/Radio switch button: When listening to radio, pushing this
button will select AM or FM band.
When MP3 is playing, pushing this button will pause the unit.
Press this button to decrease the volume.
Press this button to play previous track or previous AM/FM step.In
AM/FM mode, press and hold this button to search previous strong
signal station.
Press this button to increase the volume.
Press this power button to turn
the unit on or off.
Short press the power button
to mute.
Long press the power button
to turn the unit off.

USB Operation
AUX Input Operation
Press BAND to select between FM1, FM2, FM3, and AM1, AM2 band.
Manual Radio Station Tuning
Press or to seek radio stations up or down the frequency band
step by step.
Automatic Radio Station Tuning
Press and hold or to automatically seek the next or previous
strong signal radio station. (When the signal is weak don’t use auto search).
Insert a 3.5mm connector in the rear AUX port. Connect the other end of the
3.5mm connector to the headphone output of an audio device, MP3 player,
etc.
Connecting a USB Device (sold separately)
Play MP3 les from many mass storage devices by connecting them to the
MA3 USB port.
Playing Music
When a USB device is rst connected, playback will begin automatically.
Depending on the number of les and folders, the device may take several
seconds to begin playback. If no valid MP3 les are detected, “USB PLAY”
will be displayed.
Track Select
Press to skip to the beginning of the next track. Press to return to
the beginning of the previous track.
Fast Forward and Reverse
Press and hold or to fast forward or reverse a track.
Pause
Press to temporarily stop playback.
Press again to resume a track.

Setup Menu
Press and hold the MODE button for more than 3 seconds to access the set
up menu. Press the MODE button momentarily to select between the menu
functions and push the volume or to adjust the following functions.
Bass
Press the mode button until BAS appears.
Push the volume or to adjust. (-7 minimum / +7 maximum)
Treble
Press the mode button until TRE appears.
Push the volume or to adjust. (-7 minimum / +7 maximum)
Balance
Press the mode button until BAL appears.
Push the volume or to adjust. (-7 minimum / +7 maximum)

Troubleshooting
ISSUE OPTIONS
Unit will not turn
on (no power)
Cause: Yellow/red wire not connected or incorrect voltage
Action: Check connections for proper voltage (11~16VDC)
Cause: Black wire not connected
Action: Check connection to ground
Cause: Fuse blown
Action: Replace fuse
Unit has power
(but no sound)
Cause: Speaker wires not connected
Action: Check connections at speakers
Cause: One or more speaker wires touching each other or
touching chassis ground
Action: Insulate all bare speaker wires from each other
and chassis ground
Unit blows fuses
Cause: Yellow/red wire touching chassis ground
Action: Check for pinched wire
Cause: Speaker wires touching chassis ground
Action: Check for pinched wire
Cause: Incorrect fuse rating
Action: Use fuse with correct rating

Warranty
Warranty Policy
SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd warrants your new product to be free from defects in materials
and workmanship for twelve (12) months, from the date of purchase, provided that the
product is used in accordance with accompanying recommendations or instructions
where provided.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and
for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality
and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benet of this warranty is in addition to your rights and remedies under the
Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and similar state and territory laws and to other
rights and remedies of the consumer under a law in relation to the goods or services to
which the warranty relates.
SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd will, at its sole discretion, provide you with a refund, repair or
exchange of goods (where possible) for the product if it becomes defective within the
warranty period. SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd will bear the reasonable expense of claiming
the warranty. This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration,
accident, misuse, abuse or neglect.
Proof of Purchase
This warranty is valid for the original purchase and is not transferable. Please keep your
purchase docket, tax invoice or receipt as the best proof of purchase, and as proof of
date on which the purchase was made.
Extent of Warranty
This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship or parts. All defective products or
parts will be repaired or replaced. This warranty does not cover batteries or any other
consumable items or normal wear and tear to the products or parts.
In addition, this warranty does not cover:–
• Any defects caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of

reasonable care, unauthorised modication, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair or installation

by a person not qualied or licenced.
• Any product that has not been installed, operated or maintained in accordance with SPL Wholesale Pty

Warranty
How to Make a Claim
This warranty against defects is provided by SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd (A.C.N. 092 024
523), 74 Barrie Road, Tullamarine, Victoria, 3043 Phone: (03) 9330 3588. If a defect in
the goods appears within the warranty period, contact the retailer from where you have
purchased the goods and ask that retailer to contact SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd regarding
a warranty claim that you would like to make. You will need to provide the retailer with
information regarding the defect and your contact details and you will need to consent to
the retailer passing those contact details on to SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd.
Repairs
You should be aware that, in the event that certain types of goods are provided to SPL
Wholesale Pty Ltd for repair, you may lose some user-generated data in the goods as
a result of the repairs carried out by SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd. Accordingly, it is your
responsibility to back-up any personal data before returning the goods to SPL Wholesale
Pty Ltd. In addition, SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd may, in its sole discretion, use refurbished
parts in the repair process.
