SE-0129 MINI ENTRY DEFENDER W/CHIME
Compact magnetic sensor alarm w/chime

INSTALLATION:
yPeel and stick the tape on the back of the Mini Entry Defender W/Chime and attach it on any door/window frame.
yAffix the magnetic sensor switch close to the Mini Entry Defender W/Chime, keeping the aligned with the on the product (see
drawing I).
yFor best performance, please keep the distance between the Mini Entry Defender W/Chime and magnetic sensor switch no wider
than 0.5 inches.
BATTERY INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT:
ySlide down the battery cover in the lower part of the front panel.
yInstall 4 * fresh AG13 (LR44) button cells (included), follow the polarity instructions.
Gently slide the battery cover back up.y
OPERATION:
yMake sure the magnetic sensor switch is properly affixed.
ySlide the switch to “Chime” if you want to use it as an indicator that someone has entered or left through the door.
ySlide the switch to “Alarm” if you want to use it as a security device/alarm.
yAfter around 3 seconds, a short beep will sound to indicate the Mini Entry Defender W/Chime is ARMED or entered CHIME mode.
yAn immediate alarm sound will go off continuously for 30 seconds once the door or window is opened if in “Alarm” mode.
yThe Chime will sound twice when the door/window is opened when in “Chime” mode.
yThe alarm will return to the ARMED mode after the alarm has gone off for 30 seconds or CHIME mode after the chime has sounded
twice.
You can stop the alarm or chime at any time by sliding the switch to the OFF position.y
NOTES:
yTo ensure proper performance, check the battery power periodically.
yNot certified for use as a pool alarm.
yPress the battery test button on the battery compartment. Replace with fresh batteries when the LED light becomes dim, or is not
lighted.
yThe unit is not considered to be waterproof, so please do not expose the unit to rain.
It is suggested that the unit be mounted at a height of 5 feet or more to keep away from children.y

During the parts warranty period, there will be no charge for Parts. You must first email acquiring a RMA number, and then mail-in your
product during the warranty period. This warranty only applies to products purchased and serviced in U.S.A./CANADA
The warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of a new product, which was not sold “as is”. A purchase receipt or other proof of
the original purchase is required for warranty service.

LIMITED WARRANTY LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS:
The Warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in materials or workmanship, and DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage.
The warranty ALSO DOES NOT COVER damages which occurred in shipment, or failures which are caused by products not supplied by Doberman, or
failures which result from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, set-up adjustments, miss-adjustment
of consumer controls, improper maintenance, power line surge, lighting damage, modification, rental use of the product, serviced by anyone other that a
actory service center or other unauthorized service, or damage that is attributable to acts of God.

INSTALACIÓN:
yPela y pega la cinta atrás de la mini defensor de entrada y ponelo en cualquier puerta/marco de la ventana.
yFije el interruptor con el sensor magnético cerca de la unidad, manteniendo la la linea con el del producto (miro dibujo nr. 1).
Para mejor rendimiento por favor mantenga la distancia del defensor y el interruptor no mas de 0.5 pulgadas.y
ISTALACION DE LAS PILAS:
yDeslice la tapa de la batería en la parte abajo del panel frontal. OPERACIÓN
yIstale 4 * nuevas AG13 (LR44) pilas de botón (incluidas), siga las instrucciones de polaridad.
Deslice la tapa hacia arriba.y
OPERACIÓN:
yAseguerese de que el interruptor del sensor magnético está correctamente colocado.
yMueve el interruptor a “Chime” si lo quieres usar como un indicador que alguien ha entrado o salido por la puerta.
yMueve el interruptor a “Alarm” si lo quieres usar como un dispositivo de seguridad.
yDespués de 3 segundos, un breve pitado sonara para indicar el Mini defensor está armado, o esta in modo de chime.
yUn sonido de la alarma sonara continuamente para 30 segundos cuando la puerta o ventana se abre cuando esta en modo de
“Alarm”.
yEl timbre sonará dos veces cuando la puerta o ventana se abre cuando esta en modo de “Chime”.
yLa alarma volvera al modo de armado despues que la alarma se ha disparado durante 30 segundos, o si esta en el modo de chime
dues pues que ha sonado dos veces.
Puedes apagar la alarma/el timbre en cualquier momento deslizando el interruptor al posición OFF.y
NOTAS:
yLa unidad no es resistente al agua, por favor no la expongas a la lluvia.
yPara garantizar que las baterías de la unidad tiene suficiente energía para funcionar correctamente compruébelo periódicamente
oprimiendo el botón de prueba de la batería en el compartimiento de la batería. Reemplace con pilas nuevas cuando la LED luz se
atenuá, o no está iluminado.
Es sugerido que la unidad estará montada a un altura de 5 pies o mas para mantener lo afuera de los manos de los niños.y

y Canadá. Garantía es extendida al comprador original de un nuevo producto, no producto usado. Recibo de compra original se requiere
para validar la garantía.
