Blindmax – User manual
Foreword
•The Blindmax module is able to supply power to bidirectional
command devices such as electrovans, motors, motorized
shutters,… controlled with 3 wires.
•In order to configure the Blindmax, it is required to have one or
two external pushbuttons connected. It can be mounted behind
an already existing switch.
•The module must have its own power supply (Phase, Neutral).
•It can be used with the pushbutton and/or the Dmax app.
•It can usually be used with the following modes: follower or trip
switch.
Wiring and configuration of the Blindmax
These steps must be carefully
followed:
1. Plug the Blindmax according to the
hereby enclosed diagram (cut off
the 230V with the circuit breaker
first). The wiring is done via the
terminals.
2. The different modes of the
Blindmax can be selected with the
Dmax application available for free
on Google Play or the Apple App
Store. After reconnecting the 230V,
do a scan and
follow carefully the full
authentication procedure to add the
corresponding Blindmax. Go to
settings to edit the operating modes.

3. Connect the output and validate it
commutes correctly (the ex-factory setting of the Blindmax
allows commuting the output via a short push and maintaining
the state via a long push).
•The Blindmax does not commute correctly (irregularly or
not at all)? Carefully read the tutorial available on the website.
4. Now adjust the Blindmax performance from the Dmax by
Domintell app.

Safety and environment

•For a safe installation, the device can only be mounted
by a qualified electrician.
•The device must not be opened in any case (cancels
warranty).
•The device can only be installed inside, in a dry place,
compatible with IP20 devices.
•During the mounting and unmounting of the device, cut
off the 230V circuit-breaker.
•After installation, the connector must be protected so that
could not be accessible for the final user.
Pushbutton control
For a LONG PUSH (> 0,4s) on one of the two buttons: the
motor turns on and the Blindmax maintains its output ON as
long as the button is hold. The motor turns off when the
button is released.
For a SHORT PUSH (<0,4s) on the button: The Blindmax
commutes its output state, if it was OFF, it turns ON and vice-
versa. The motor remains ON for a time defined by the user
through the app.
The user can also choose using only a single button which
he configures through the app. With a short push, the motor
goes one way. On the next push, the motor goes the other
way. For a long push, the motor goes one way as long as the
button is pressed. On the next long push, the motor goes the
other way.

Handig om te weten
•De Blindmax kan een tweerichtings’ bedieningsorgaan voeden
zoals gemotoriseerde luiken, motoren, electromagnetische
kleppen, etc. met 3 draden bediend.
•Om de Blindmax te configureren is het noodzakelijk over een of
twee externe drukknoppen te beschikken.
•De intelligente module heeft een eigen voeding nodig (Fase,
Nul).
•Hij kan met een drukknop en/of de Dmax App gebruikt worden.
•De module kan voornamelijk gebruikt worden met de volgende
modes: volger of teleruptor.
Installatie en eenmalige instelling van de Blindmax
Het is noodzakelijk de hieronder omschreven stappen te respecteren:
1. Sluit de Blindmax aan volgens het
hier afgebeeld schema (altijd eerst
230V uitschakelen). De aansluiting
dient via de klemmen van de
aansluitpunten te gebeuren.
2. De verschillende werkingsmodi van
de Blindmax worden geselecteerd
vanuit de Dmax App, beschikbaar op
Google Play of Apple Store. Kies
een gebruikersnaam via de app. Na
het opnieuw inschakelen van de
230V, voer een scan uit en volg de
authentificatie procedure om de
desbetreffende Blindmax toe te
voegen. Ga naar het menu
“parameters” om de werkingsmodus
aan te passen. Voor meer informatie

te consulteren.
3. Schakel de uitgangen aan en kijk of zij degelijk schakelen (de af-
fabriek parametrisatie laat een omschakeling van de uitgang toe
met een korte druk en de staat te behouden via een lange druk):
•De Blindmax schakelt niet netjes?(onregelmatig of helemaal
niet)

4. Stel nu het gedrag van de Blindmax via de Dmax App bij.
Zie eventueel voor uitleg verderop of in de technische

•Het toestel mag enkel en alleen gemonteerd worden door een
gediplomeerde elektrovakman, anders is er gevaar voor brand

•Het toestel mag onder geen enkele omstandigheid geopend
worden (warranty void, control seal).
•Het toestel mag alleen binnen geïnstalleerd worden, in een
droge plaats, compatibel met IP20 toestellen.
•Gedurende montage en demontage van het toestel moet de
230V uitgeschakeld zijn en blijven.
•Na installatie moeten de aansluitpunten beschermd zijn zodat
ze onbereikbaar zijn voor de eindgebruiker.
Drukknop bediening
LANGE DRUK (> 0,4s) op één van de twee knoppen: de motor
gaat aan en de Blindmax handhaaft de uitgang aan zolang de knop
gedrukt blijft. De motor schakelt uit als de knop wordt losgelaten.
KORTE DRUK (<0,4s) op de knop: de Blindmax schakelt aan of uit
in functie van zijn initiële status; als hij aan is, gaat hij uit en
omgekeerd. De motor blijft aangeschakeld voor een tijd die door de
gebruiker via de App is vastgelegd.
De gebruiker kan er ook voor kiezen met één enkele knop te werken
die hij via de App instelt. Met een korte druk op de knop wordt de
motor in één richting aangeschakeld. Bij de volgende korte druk
gaat het de andere richting uit. Bij een lange druk schakelt de motor
aan zolang de knop ingedrukt blijft. Bij een tweede lange druk
schakelt de motor in de andere richting.

Blindmax – Mode d’emploi
Préambule
•Le module Blindmax est capable d'alimenter des organes de
commande bidirectionnels tel que des électrovannes, des
moteurs, des volets motorisés, commandés en 3 fils.
•Pour configurer le Blindmax, il est nécessaire d’avoir un ou deux
boutons poussoir externes connectés. Il peut être monté derrière
un commutateur déjà existant.
•Le module doit avoir une alimentation propre (Phase, Neutre).
•Il est utilisable avec le bouton poussoir et/ou l'application Dmax.
•Il peut être principalement utilisé avec les modes suivants : suiveur
ou télérupteur.
Installation et réglage du Blindmax
Il est nécessaire de respecter les étapes détaillées ci-dessous :
1. Connecter le Blindmax sur base du
schéma ci-joint (toujours couper le
disjoncteur 230V). Le
raccordement s'effectue via le
bornier.
2. Les différents modes du Blindmax
se sélectionnent au travers de
l'application Dmax disponible
gratuitement sur Google Play ou
Apple App Store. Après avoir
reconnecté le 230V, faire un scan
puis suivre la procédure
d’authentification afin d’ajouter le
Blindmax correspondant. Se rendre
dans les paramètres pour modifier
les modes de fonctionnement. Pour

3. Connectez les sorties et validez qu’elles commutent
correctement (la paramétrisation ex-usine du Blindmax permet
de commuter les sorties via un appui court et de maintenir l'état
via un appui long).
•Le Blindmax ne commute pas correctement (de manière
irrégulière ou pas du tout) ? Lisez dans le détail le tutoriel
disponible sur le site internet.
1. Ajustez maintenant le comportement du Blindmax depuis
l'application Dmax by Domintell.
En cas de question, voyez la version détaillée sur
www.dmaxbydomintell.com ou prenez contact avec votre
fournisseur.

•Pendant le montage et le démontage de l’appareil, toujours
couper le disjoncteur de 230V.
•Après installation, les connecteurs doivent être protégés afin
qu’ils soient inaccessibles par l’utilisateur final.
Contrôle par le bouton poussoir
Pour un APPUI LONG (> 0,4s) sur un des deux boutons : le
moteur s'allume et le Blindmax maintien sa sortie allumée
tant que le bouton est pressé. Le moteur s'éteint quand le
bouton est relâché.
Pour un APPUI COURT (<0,4s) sur le bouton : Le Blindmax
commute son état de sortie, s’il était éteint, il s'allume et
inversément. Le moteur reste enclenché pendant un temps
définit par l'utilisateur au niveau de l'application.
L'utilisateur peut également choisir de n'utiliser qu'un seul
bouton qu'il configure au niveau de l'application. Quand il
appui court le moteur s'enclenche dans un sens. Au prochain
appui court le sens est inversé. Pour un appui long le moteur
s'enclenche dans un sens tant que le bouton est enclenché.
Au prochain appui long le moteur s'enclenche dans l’autre
sens.

Vorwort
• Das Blindmax-Modul ist in der Lage, die Stromversorgung
bidirektional zu betreiben. Geräte wie Elektrofahrzeuge,
Motoren, motorisierte Antriebe, Rollläden etc., welche mit drei
Drähten gesteuert werden können.
• Um das Blindmax-Modul zu konfigurieren, ist es
erforderlich, dass es an einen oder zwei externen Tastern
angeschlossen wird. Es kann hinter einer bereits
vorhandenen Schaltung montiert werden.
• Das Blindmax-Modul muss über eine eigene
Spannungsversorgung (Phase, Nullleiter) verfügen.
• Das Blindmax-Modul kann mittels Taster und/oder der
Dmax-App bedient werden.
• In der Regel kann das Blindmax-Modul mit folgenden
Modi verwendet werden: „Follower“ oder „Monostable“
Verdrahtung und Konfiguration des Blindmax
Die folgenden Arbeitsschritte müssen sorgfältig befolgt werden:
1. Schließen Sie das Blindmax-
Modul gem. dem vorliegenden
Schema an (trennen Sie dabei
zuerst die 230 V AC-
Stromversorgung vom Gerät).
2. Die verschiedenen Modi des
Blindmax-Moduls können mit der
Dmax-App ausgewählt werden,
die kostenlos über Google Play
oder im Apple App-Store
heruntergeladen werden kann.
Führen Sie nach dem
Wiedereinschalten der 230 V-
Stromversorgung einen Scan
durch und folgen Sie dann dem
Authentifizierungsvorgang, um
den entsprechenden Blindmax zu
installieren. Wechseln Sie
anschließend zu
den Einstellungen, um die
Betriebsarten zu bearbeiten.

3. SSchließen Sie den Verbraucher am Ausgang an und
überprüfen Sie, ob dieser korrekt schaltet (die werkseitige
Konfiguration des Blindmax-Moduls ermöglicht es, den
Ausgang mittels eines kurzen Tastendrucks zu wechseln und
diesen Status durch einen langen Tastendruck
aufrechtzuerhalten.
•Das Blindmax-Modul schaltet nicht richtig, unregelmäßig
oder gar nicht ein? In diesen Fällen lesen Sie sich bitte die
auf der Website befindliche Anleitung sorgfältig durch.
4. Passen Sie nun die Blindmax-Einstellungen mittels der Dmax-
App an.

Drucktastensteuerung
Bei einem LANGEN DRUCK (> 0,4 s) auf eine der beiden
Tasten: der Motor schaltet sich ein und das Blindmax-Modul
bleibt eingeschaltet, solange die Taste gedrückt wird. Der
Motor schaltet sich ab, wenn die Taste losgelassen wird..
Bei einem KURZEN DRUCK (< 0,4 s) auf die Taste: das
Blindmax-Modul wechselt in seinen Ausgangszustand - wenn
es ausgeschaltet war, schaltet es sich ein und umgekehrt. Der
Antrieb bleibt für eine vom Benutzer durch die App definierte
Zeit eingeschaltet.
