• The appliance must be cleaned before use.
• Under no circumstance should you place the DRS40 in water.
• Do not use water on the control panel or the connectors.
• Only the two-point blade and inside the jug can be cleaned with
hot water and washing-up liquid.
• DRS40 is designed for domestic indoor use only.
• DRS40 must be used on dry, at, heat-resistant surfaces.
• Handle the blades with extreme care because they are very sharp
and could cause injury.
• Do not touch the appliance's hot surfaces while it is operating, as
they can cause scalding and burns.
• Steam can escape from the DRS40 and cause scalding and burns.
• Always hold the appliance by the side handle. The jug surface
can overheat after use and can cause scalding and burns.

• Always unplug your appliance as soon as you nish using it, before
cleaning it or in the event of a power failure. Do not unplug your
appliance by pulling the power cord.
• Do not operate the appliance empty.
• Do not use your appliance if it does not operate correctly, if it has
been damaged or if the cord or plug are damaged. If the power
cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by
a qualied person to avoid danger.
• Take into account the jug's minimum and maximum level lines.
• Defrost all ingredients before placing them into the DRS40.
• Never operate the appliance empty, with only dry ingredients or
with frozen ingredients and do not pour boiling liquids into it.
• Do not carry the appliance by the top handle as it could fall.
• Do not use the jug in a microwave.
• Wait for the appliance to cool down before handling or cleaning
it.
• Some ingredients may leave an overcooked or burnt residue on
the bottom of the jug. If that were the case, add hot water with
a couple of drops of washing-up liquid to the jug, leave for 15
minutes and then rinse.
• Always rinse the jug and two-point blades after cleaning.
• This appliance is not intended to be used by children or any person
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
device from a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
• The appliance must be kept out of the reach of children and
animals.

• Children should not clean or perform maintenance on the
appliance without supervision.
• The appliance must be kept out of the reach of children and
animals while switched on.
• The appliance must not be used if it has suered a fall or presents
visible signs of damage.
• Do not pull, lift or move the appliance by the power cable.
• Keep the power cable away from sources of heat.
• Only use the power cord supplied by the manufacturer.
• Never use the appliance if the plug, power cable or appliance
itself are damaged.
• First, unplug the power cable from the mains socket and then
remove it from the appliance.
• To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not place liquid
in the power plug or on the appliance's control panel.
• Do not touch the power plug or the appliance with wet hands.
• Make sure your power supply voltage matches the power voltage
marked on the appliance.
• Only use accessories recommended or supplied by the
manufacturer.
• Wait until the appliance completely stops before lifting the motor
unit o.
• Store the appliance away from heat and ammable materials.
• Do not use the appliance in extremely hot or cold environments
(below 0˚C, above 40˚C).
• Store the appliance in a safe, dry place, at a temperature between
0°C and 40°C.

• DRS40 is not designed to be used in the following cases, which
are not covered by the warranty:
• In kitchen areas, reserved for sta in shops, oces and other
workplace environments.
• By patrons of hotels or other environments of a residential
nature.
• In guesthouse-type environments.
• Only use your DOMOOVA DRS40 as described in this manual.

Before rst use
Clean the appliance before the rst use.
Open the appliance by lifting the top handle. Clean inside the jug
with a damp sponge and a little washing-up liquid, then rinse. Do
not pour water on the outside of the jug or the appliance's power
socket. Clean the two-point blade with hot water and wipe it. Handle
the blade with caution, it is very sharp.
Clean the outside jug surface and motor unit with a damp cloth, then
dry them carefully.
Under no circumstance should you place the appliance in water.
Never place liquid on the motor unit, control panel or power plug.
The appliance must be completely dry before use.
NOTE: The appliance is not dishwasher safe so it must not be cleaned in a dishwash-
er, as this would damage it.

Using the appliance
Switching on the appliance
Roughly chop the ingredients into 2cm cubes. Open the appliance by
lifting the top handle and place all of the ingredients and water into
the jug (Figure 1). Respect the maximum and minimum levels when
adding ingredients (Figure 2). Place the lid back onto the appliance
making sure that the motor unit and jug connectors align correctly
(Figure 3).

Plug the appliance into the mains using the power cable (Figure 4).
The appliance beeps and the pre-programmed setting indicator
lights ash in turn.
NOTES:
• For recipes that include meat, please note you should cook the meat
beforehand.
• You are recommended to place vegetables in the jug rst.
• The jug has a maximum capacity of 1400ml.
Selecting a setting
Press the Settings button, as many times as needed to select the
setting you wish to use. The indicator light ashes to display the
selected setting.
Press the ON/OFF button to start the appliance.
NOTES:
• To cancel a setting, press and hold the ON/OFF button for some seconds. Then
select another pre-programmed setting by pressing the Settings button.
• When the pre-programmed setting has nished, the appliance beeps for 1
minute and all the indicator lights ash. Then, the appliance automatically
switches to standby mode.
• If you remove the motor unit while the appliance is in use, it stops immediately.

Settings Heat Mode Indication
Creamy soup Yes 24 min
This setting evenly blends ingredients at an
ideal temperature. It is perfect for smooth,
velvety vegetable soups.
Chunky soup Yes 30 min
Great for making meat- or starch-based
soups, this setting cooks the ingredients
for longer without blending them. You
are therefore recommended to chop the
ingredients into small pieces.
Compote Yes 24 min This pre-programmed setting is suitable for
making quick compotes or jams.
Juice No 3 min
The Juice setting is perfect for preparing
fresh fruit/vegetable juices or smoothies.
This setting does not heat or cook the
ingredients in the jug.
Keep warm Yes 30 min
Great for reheating soups or keeping them
warm, this setting stays at an ideal heating
temperature of 80°C.

Blend No Manual
The Blend setting manually blends the
ingredients in the jug without cooking them.
It is great for modifying a soup's consistency.
To activate it, you need to press and hold
the ON/OFF button.
NOTE: Do not place ice cubes into the appliance's jug as it could damage it and the
two-point blade.
Stopping the appliance
Unplug the appliance before handling it. Remove the motor unit by
taking hold of the top handle and serve.

Motor unit
Clean the bottom of the motor unit with a damp sponge. Never
immerse this part of the appliance in water as this may damage it.
To clean the two-point blade, handle the motor unit with care to
avoid any cuts and remove any burnt-on food with a thick sponge.
The blade can be cleaned with clean water.
Clean the outside surface of the motor unit with a damp cloth and
then gently dry it.
Jug
To clean the jug, add water and a little washing-up liquid to the jug.
Close the lid and select the Blend setting for a few seconds. This
cleans the two-point blade and the inside of the jug without any
risks. Empty the jug and repeat this step with clean water to rinse it.
For stubborn burnt-on food, add hot soapy water to the jug. Leave to
soak for a few hours and then rinse.
Clean the outside of the jug with a damp sponge.

Gently dry all parts thoroughly with a soft cloth.
NOTES:
• Blades are sharp and can cause severe injury when handling the appliance.
• The appliance is not dishwasher safe.
• It is important to wait for the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.
• Do not use metal utensils to clean the bottom of the jug.

Please contact DOMOOVA technical department in the following
cases:
• If the appliance has been dropped, damaged or if the motor has
come into contact with water.
• If the power cable is damaged.
