(hen ce forth – the magnifier) is des ig ned
for vi su al ve ri fi ca tion of authen ti ci ty sign
of bankno tes, se cu rit ies, ex cise du ty
stamps and other ob jects pos ses sing pro
tec ti ve fe a tu res that can be ve ri fi ed with
the aid of the magnifier.
The magnifier is us ed as part of the
and de tec tors.
1. Check the pres en ce of IR marks in the
re flec ted light.
2. Check the sur fa ce of bank no tes and
other ob jects in the whi te oblique
light.
3. Check the pres en ce of mic ro prints.

1. Do not insert or remove the cable of
magnifier with wet hands. It may
cause a shock hazard.
2. Complete the magnifier only to
compatible devices.
3. When insert or remove the cable of
magnifier, handle the cable by the
cable plug to avoid the cable dam
age.
4. I f the magnifier was exposed to
cold for an extended period of time,
it is necessary to maintain it under
the room temperature for at least
two hours before starting operating.

1. Con nect the magnifier to V1 jack on
the re ar pan el of the
de tec tor or to V1 or V2 jack on the
re ar pan el of the de tec
tor.
AT TEN TION!
The cab le of the magnifier should
be con nec ted to the un plugged
de vi ce.
2. Switch on the de tec tor. Press the
but ton on the up per
part of the magnifier. The de tec tor
will chan ge over to the next pres
sings of the but ton
on the magnifier help to se lect the
requi red il lu mi na tion sour ce.
The magnifier has two ty pes
of il lu mi na tion: whi te and IR.
For the onscre en me nu of
the mo ni tor in di ca tes the sta tus of the
il lu mi na tion. No te Zoom White cor res
ponds to the whi te il lu mi na tion, no te
Zoom IR to the in fra red il lu mi na tion.
It is pos si ble to chan ge over the de vi ce to
ob ser va tion with the help of the in ter nal
IR ca me ra by me ans of the
but ton.
For the the co lor of the vi deo
in put in di ca tor, to which the magnifier is
con nec ted, in di ca tes the sta tus of the
il lu mi na tion. Si mul tan eous glowing of
blue, gre en and red in di ca tors cor res
ponds to the whi te il lu mi na tion. Red in di
ca tor glowing cor res ponds to IR il lu mi na
tion.

The magnifier should be sto red in the

from 84 to 107 kPa (630 to
800 mmHg).
There is no picture from
the external
television magnifier
or there is no changing
over to the corresponding
video input by pressing
the button
on the magnifier.
Probably the pin is not
completely inserted in V1 jack
of the detector
or in V1/V2 jack
of the detector.
Put the pin deep into the jack
till it stops.
