The DORS 1020 television magnifier
(henceforth – the magnifier) is designed
for visual verification of authenticity sign
of banknotes, securities, excise duty
stamps and other objects possessing pro
tective features that can be verified with
the aid of the magnifier.
The magnifier is used as part of the
DORS 1100 and DORS 1200 detectors.
The magnifier makes it possible to do
the following:
1. Check the presence of IR marks in the
reflected light.
2. Check the presence of UV marks in
the reflected light.
3. Check the surface of banknotes and
other objects in the white oblique
light.
4. Check the presence of micro prints.

OPERATION
1. Connect the magnifier to V1 jack on
the rear panel of the DORS 1100 de
tector or to V1 or V2 jack on the rear
panel of the DORS 1200 detector.
ATTENTION.
The type of the magnifier is detected au
tomatically at the moment of switching
the device on, that's why the cable of the
magnifier should be connected either to
the unplugged device or to the device in
standby mode.
2. Switch on the detector. Press the
SELECT button on the upper part of
the magnifier. The detector will
change over to the next pressings of
the SELECT button on the magnifier
help to select the required illumina
tion source.
The DORS 1020 magnifier has three ty
pes of illumination: white, IR and UV.
For the DORS 1100 onscreen menu of the
monitor indicates the status of the illumi
nation. Note Zoom White corresponds to
the white illumination, note Zoom IR  to
the infrared illumination, note Zoom UV 
to the ultraviolet illumination.
It is possible to change over the device to
observation with the help of the internal
IR camera by means of the INPUT
button.
For the DORS 1200 the color of the video
input indicator, to which the magnifier is
connected, indicates the status of the il
lumination. Simultaneous glowing of
blue, green and red indicators corres
ponds to the white illumination. Red indi
cator glowing corresponds to IR illumina
tion. Blue indicator glowing corresponds
to UV illumination.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible reason Troubleshooting
When working with
the magnifier
it is not possible
to switch on ultraviolet
illumination.
The magnifier was connected
to the already switched on detector
(DORS 1100 or DORS 1200)
and was not identified correctly.
Put the device in standby
mode and then turn it on
again.
There is no picture from
the external
television magnifier
or there is no changing
over to the corresponding
video input by pressing
the SELECT button
on the magnifier.
Probably the pin is not
completely inserted in V1 jack
of the DORS 1100 detector
or in V1/V2 jack
of the DORS 1200 detector.
Put the pin deep into the jack
till it stops.

The magnifier should be stored in the
manufacturer's package in heated sto
rehouses under the temperature from
+5oC to +40oC and relative air humidity
not exceeding 80% at +25oC.
The magnifier may be transported in
the manufacturer's package (for not mo
re than 7 days) by truck or railway trans
port in containers or house cars or by air
transport in the pressured compartments
under the temperature from 30oC to
+50oC, relative air humidity not excee
ding 98% at +25°C and pressure from
84 to 107 kPa (630 to 800 mm Hg).

Телевизионная лупа DORS 1020 (да
лее  лупа) предназначена для визу
ального контроля признаков подлин
ности банкнот, ценных бумаг, акциз
ных марок и других объектов, имею
щих защитные признаки, допускаю
щие проверку посредством лупы.
Лупа используется только в составе
детекторов DORS 1100 или DORS 1200.
Лупа позволяет:
1. Проверять наличие инфракрасных
(ИК) меток в отраженном свете.
2. Проверять наличие ультрафиолето
вых (УФ) меток в отраженном свете.
3. Проверять поверхность банкнот и
других объектов в белом косо
падающем свете.
4. Контролировать наличие микро
печати.

Для детектора DORS 1100 состояние
подсветки указывает экранное меню
монитора. Белой подсветке соответ
ствует надпись Zoom White, ИКпод
светке  надпись Zoom IR, УФподсвет
ке  надпись Zoom UV. Переключить
DORS 1100 на просмотр при помощи
встроенной ИКкамеры можно при по
мощи кнопки INPUT на приборе.
Для детектора DORS 1200 состояние
подсветки указывает цвет индикатора
видеовхода, к которому подключена
лупа. Белой подсветке соответствует
одновременное свечение синего, зе
леного и красного индикаторов. ИК
подсветке  свечение красного инди
катора. УФподсветке  свечение сине
го индикатора.
ПОРЯДОК РАБОТЫ
1. Подключить лупу к гнезду V1
на задней панели детектора
DORS 1100, или к гнезду V1 либо
V2 на задней панели детектора
DORS 1200.
ВНИМАНИЕ.
Тип лупы опознается при включении
детектора, поэтому присоединять ка
бель лупы нужно либо к выключен
ному из сети детектору, либо к
детектору, находящемуся в дежур
ном режиме.
2. Включить детектор. Нажать
на кнопку SELECT на верхней час
ти лупы. Детектор переключит
ся на просмотр изображения, пе
редаваемого лупой.
Последующие нажатия на кноп
ку SELECT на лупе позволят вы
брать необходимый источник
подсветки.
Лупа DORS 1020 имеет три типа под
светки: белая, ИК и УФ.

ВОЗМОЖНЫЕ ПРОБЛЕМЫ И ИХ УСТРАНЕНИЕ

При работе с лупой
невозможно включить
ультрафиолетовую
подсветку.
Лупа была подключена
к уже включенному детектору
(DORS 1100 или DORS 1200)
и не была правильно опознана.
Переведите детектор
в дежурный режим
и вновь включите.
Нет изображения
с внешней
телевизионной лупы
или не происходит
переключения
на соответствующий
видеовход при нажатии
кнопки SELECT на лупе.
Не до конца вставлен
разъем лупы
в гнездо V1 детектора DORS 1100
или V1/V2 детектора DORS 1200
Вставьте разъем в гнездо
до упора.

ТРАНСПОРТИРОВАНИЕ И ХРАНЕНИЕ
Лупа подлежит хранению в упаковке
изготовителя в отапливаемых поме
щениях при температуре от +5оC до
+40оC и относительной влажности
воздуха не более 80% при температу
ре +25оC.
Лупу допускается транспортировать в
упаковке изготовителя (не более 7 су
ток) автомобильным или железнодо
рожным транспортом в контейнерах
или крытых вагонах, авиационным
транспортом в герметизированных от
секах при температуре от 30оC до
+50оC, относительной влажности воз
духа до 98% при температуре +25оC и
атмосферном давлении от 84 до
107 кПа (от 630 до 800 мм рт. ст.).

УФМЕТКИ
В бумаге:
По всей площади банкноты введены и хаотично расположены бесцветные защит
ные волокна, люминесцирующие красным и зеленым светом; бумага в УФлучах не
светится.
Графические элементы:
На лицевой стороне — номинал банкноты в левом нижнем углу и отдельные уча
стки защитной нити люминесцируют зеленым светом.
На оборотной стороне — люминесценция элементов орнаментальной полосы и
отдельных участков защитной полосы.
