OPERATION
1. Connect the magnifier to V1 jack on
the rear panel of the DORS 1100 de
tector or to V1 or V2 jack on the rear
panel of the DORS 1200 detector.
ATTENTION.
The type of the magnifier is detected au
tomatically at the moment of switching
the device on, that's why the cable of the
magnifier should be connected either to
the unplugged device or to the device in
standby mode.
2. Switch on the detector. Press the
SELECT button on the upper part of
the magnifier. The detector will
change over to the next pressings of
the SELECT button on the magnifier
help to select the required illumina
tion source.
The DORS 1020 magnifier has three ty
pes of illumination: white, IR and UV.
For the DORS 1100 onscreen menu of the
monitor indicates the status of the illumi
nation. Note Zoom White corresponds to
the white illumination, note Zoom IR to
the infrared illumination, note Zoom UV
to the ultraviolet illumination.
It is possible to change over the device to
observation with the help of the internal
IR camera by means of the INPUT
button.
For the DORS 1200 the color of the video
input indicator, to which the magnifier is
connected, indicates the status of the il
lumination. Simultaneous glowing of
blue, green and red indicators corres
ponds to the white illumination. Red indi
cator glowing corresponds to IR illumina
tion. Blue indicator glowing corresponds
to UV illumination.
