1 installatievoorschrift
Het plaatsen en in werking stellen moet door vakmensen geschieden volgens de
gangbare normen NBN D51-003.
Laat bij het in werking stellen, uw installateur u inlichten over het gebruik, bediening en
onderhoud van uw toestel.
Elk toestel is getest, nauwkeurig afgeregeld en verzegeld in de fabriek gelijkvormig de
categorie 12E+(aardgas) of de categorie I3+(propaan/ butaan). Zie op het type-plaatje
voor welk soort gas het toestel is afgesteld. Bij wijzigingen aan de regelorganen door
onbevoegde per-sonen vervalt de waarborg.
1.1 Plaatsbepaling
Houd de verbinding tussen aansluitkraag en schoorsteenkanaal zo kort en zo recht
mogelijk. De minimum afstand van toestel tot brandbare muur bedraagt 20 cm. Zorg dat
boven het toestel geen gordijnen geplaatst worden.
De verbranding verbruikt zuurstof. Het is dus van groot belang dat de ruimte waar
het toestel geïnstalleerd wordt, voldoende verlucht wordt. Plaats een verluchting van
minstens 15 cm² (niet afsluitbaar).
1.2 Aansluiting op het schoorsteenkanaal
Het schoorsteenkanaal moet voldoen aan de regels beschreven in
norm NBN B61-001.
Vooraleer men het toestel op een schoorsteenkanaal aansluit, waarop een kolen-,
hout of een mazoutkachel was aangesloten, is het best dit vakkundig te laten reinigen.
Hoewel een gaskachel kan werken met een zeer kleine schoorsteentrek adviseren wij U
om een jaarlijkse controle van de schoorsteen uit te voeren.
De verbinding met de schoorsteen gebeurt d.m.v. een afvoerpijp diameter 100 mm die in
de aansluitkraag geschoven wordt op de achterwand. Het deksel bovenaan ligt los op de
topplaat. Gebruik corrosievast materiaal.
Deze verbindingspijp mag nooit lager komen dan de aansluitkraag van de kachel.
Controleer of de schoorsteen goed functioreert door na 10 minuten volbranden
een koud spiegeltje of verchroomd voorwerp aan trekonderbreker-valwindaeider
(achteraantoestel onder aansluitkraag) te houden. Als dit beslaat functioneert de
schoorsteen onvoldoende.

1.3 Aansluiting op de gasleiding
Controleer of de gassoort en de gasdruk ter plaatse overeenkomen niet de aanduiding op
het typeplaatje.
In de gastoevoerleiding moet een gekeurde B.G.V. gaskraan zo dicht mogelijk bij het
toestel worden gemonteerd.
De aansluiting dient spanningsvrij te geschieden.
Kontroleer de toevoerleiding op gasdichtheid (door middel van bv. zeepwater).
Voor leidingen tot +1- 10 m volstaat 3/8” G, buis of koperbuis 10/12 diameter. Voor meer
dan 10 m gebruikt men 1/2” of koperbuis 13/ 15 diameter.
1.4 Installeren van de keramische houtblokken
Ontgrendel de deur.
De keramische houtblokken zijn apart verpakt. Wees voorzichtig, de blokken zijn zeer
breekbaar.
Leg vervolgens de blokken zoals aangegeven op plan.
Installeren van de keramische blokken
1.5 Toegang tot de branderunit (voor onderhoud of herstelling)
Men gaat als volgt te werk:
Open de frontdeur en verwijder de keramische blokken. Men kan nu de bouten (M6) los
schroeven van de branderbak.
750GA(P): Verwijder het achterhitteschild. Verwijder het rechtse zijpaneel (kant van de
regelblok), door de schroef in het zijpaneel los te draaien en vervolgens de scharnier-
pennen te verwijderen. De bevestigingsplaat van de regelblok kan nu los geschroefd
worden (2 x M6).
Demonteer de clixon-houder (TTB) door de twee plaatschroeven los te draaien op het
rugschild. Vergeet de thermostaat-voeler niet uit zijn houders te halen.
Men kan nu de volledige branderunit (regelblok met brander) langs achter uit het toestel
nemen.
Om de branderunit opnieuw te monteren gaat U in omgekeerde volgorde te werk.

1.6 Afvoerbeveiliging
Bij vervanging, alleen originele clixon toepassen, geen alternatief. De clixon-houder kan
gedemonteerd worden door de 2 plaatschroeven op de achterwand los te schroeven.
Mogelijke oorzaken die kunnen leiden tot het inschakelen van de afvoerbeveiliging zijn:
Een slechte verbinding tussen de kachel en het afvoerkanaal.
Het afvoerkanaal is geheel of gedeeltelijk afgedicht door vallend puin of iets dergelijks.
een te geringe schoorsteentrek.
Een open keuken met een te sterke afzuigkap.
2 Gebruiksaanwijzing
Attentie: Wij adviseren U na installatie van het toestel deze enige uren op de hoogste
stand te stoken en daarbij goed te ventileren, zodat de verf de kans heeft om uit te
harden. Witte aanslag op het glas en op het binnenwerk is mogelijk tijdens deze eerste
periode. Met een eenvoudige doek is deze aanslag weg te wrijven nadat het toestel
afgekoeld is.
Het toestel heeft twee branders. De achterste brander wordt bediend door de
thermostaatknop. U kiest de gewenste stand en de modulerende thermostaat zorgt voor
de juiste temperatuur.
De voorste brander wordt bediend door de handkraan. U kiest de gewenste stand en de
brander blijft in die stand branden tot U de gekozen stand wijzigt.
De volgende delen van het toestel worden als “werkingsoppervlakten” beschouwd, en
kunnen dus hoge temperaturen bereiken:
• alle gietijzer onderdelen.
• de warmtewisselaar
• het glasoppervlak.
Het is aan te bevelen om een bijkomend scherm te plaatsen rond het toestel als er
kinderen of oudere mensen aanwezig zijn.

2.1 Aansteken
Open de gasafsluitkraan die in de gasleiding naar het toestel is gemonteerd.
Draai de thermostaatknop op ontstekingspositie (pilot) en druk deze in (ingedrukt houden).
De ontstekingsknop geheel indrukken tot U een “klik” hoort; dit is de vonk-ontsteking.
Via het glasraam kunt U zien of de waakvlam brandt. Zonodig enkele malen opnieuw
“klikken’ tot de waakvlam brandt.
Wanneer de waakvlam brandt, de thermostaatknop nog 30 seconden ingedrukt houden en
daarna rustig loslaten.
Blijft de waakvlam niet branden, dan 5 minuten wachten en de procedure herhalen.
Door de thermostaatknop in de gewenste stand te draaien (stand 1= kleinstand, stand 6 =
volstand) ontsteekt de achterste brander.
Door het schuifje van de handkraan naar rechts te brengen ontsteekt de voorste brander,
ten minste als de thermostaatknop tussen stand 1 en 6 staat.
Waarschuwing: Als de waakvlam uitgaat, dan moet U minstens 5 min. wachten voor U het
toestel weer aansteekt.
2.3 Werking sfeerbrander (voorste brander)
De voorste brander gaat alleen branden als U de handkraan opent. Aanzetten d.m.v. knop
uittrekken en naar links draaien. Uitzetten d.m.v. knop naar rechts draaien uittrekken en
loslaten. Overtuig U ervan dat de voorste brander uit is.
2.4 Doven van de kachel
Om de kachel helemaal uit te zetten, de thermostaatknop in de “uit”-stand (off) zetten en
indrukken. De waakvlam gaat dan uit.
Wordt de kachel langere tijd niet gebruikt, dan is het raadzaam ook de gasafsluitkraan in
de toevoerleiding dicht te draaien.
2.5 Afvoerbeveiliging
Het toestel is uitgerust met een thermische afvoerbeveiliging die de waakvlam en
daarmee de hoofdbrander uitschakelt in geval van lekkage van de verbrandingsgassen uit
de trekonderbreker.
Het waarnemend orgaan is een thermostaat welke bij overschrijding van een bepaalde
temperatuur een elektrisch contact opent en daarmee de thermokoppelstroorn
onderbreekt. Hierdoor schakelt het regelblok de gastoevoer naar de hoofd- en
waakvlambrander uit.
Het toestel kan alleen opnieuw ontstoken worden via afkoeling van het waarnemend
orgaan. De thermostaat mag niet eigenhandig buiten werking worden gesteld. Haal Uw
installateur erbij indien de afvoerbeveiliging geregeld inschakelt.

3 Onderhoud
Bij het begin van ieder stookseizoen is het aan te raden over te gaan tot een grondige
ontstofng van het toestel.
Beschadiging aan de verf kan U gemakkelijk bijwerken met een spuitbus “Thermoblack”.
In het begin zal de verf van uw kachel nog een geur afgeven. Dit verdwijnt echter vanzelf.
Laat het toestel nooit werken met open deur of met een gebarsten of gebroken ruit.
Laat éénmaal per jaar een controle- en onderhoudsbeurt uitvoeren door uw installateur.
Wat moet U doen bij gasreuk:
• Zet de vensters van het lokaal helemaal open.
• Sluit het lokaal waar U het gas ruikt af van de rest van het gebouw.
• Sluit de kraan van uw gasmeter.
• Doof en vermijd alle open vuur en alle vlammen.
• Verwittig uw aardgasmaatschappij of uw installateur

1 Instructions d’installation
L’installation et la mise en service doivent être effectuées par un installateur agréé et être
conformes aux normes NBN DS 1-003.
A La mise en service, informez-vous chez l’installateur de l’emploi et de 1’ entretien de 1’
appareil.
Chaque appareil est rigoureusement contrôlé, essayé et réglé en notre usine selon la
catégorie 12E+ (gaz naturel) ou 13+ (propane/butane).
Vériez la plaque signalétique de manière â savoir pour quel type de gaz le poêle est
équipé. Nous précisons que tous les points de réglage ont été scellés.
Nous conseillons â l’usager de ne pas modier les différents réglages au risque de
perdre le bénéce de sa garantie.
1.1 Choix de l’emplacement
Faire en sorte que le conduit de sortie de l’appareil et le conduit de la cheminée soient
aussi courts et aussi droits que possible.
La distance minimale de la sortie de l’appareil au mur est de 20 cm. II est préférable
d’éviter de mettre le poêle prés des rideaux.
La combustion consomme de l’oxygène. II est donc très important que le local où est
installé l’appareil soit sufsamment aéré. Mettez une grille d’au moins 15 cm² minimum.
1.2 Raccordement au conduit de cheminée
Le conduit doit être conforme aux normes NBN B61-00l.
Avant de raccorder votre appareil â gaz au conduit de cheminée et avant tout
fonctionnement, il est impératif de nettoyer soigneusement le conduit de cheminée.
Bien qu’un poêle â gaz puisse fonctionner avec un très faible tirage, nous conseillons
â l’utilisateur de faire contrôler son conduit chaque année pur éviter d’éventuelles
obstructions etc.
• Le diamètre intérieur de la sortie est de 100 mm Pour le raccordement du poêle au
conduit de cheminée il faut ei1nployer un matériel anti-corrosive.
• La buse de raccordement ne doit pas être placée plus bas que la sortie du
convecteur.
• Après 10 minutes 41e fonctionnement à plein régime, il est nécessaire de contrôler le
tirage du conduit de cheminée, en tenant un petit miroir ou similaire juste au-dessus
du coupe-tirage. Si celui-ci se ternit, le tirage de la cheminée est insufsant
1.3 Raccordement â la conduite de gaz.
Contrôler si la catégorie de gaz et la pression de gaz local correspondent aux indications
de la plaque signalétique. Sur le tuyau d’alimentation, un robinet de fermeture doit être
placé le plus près possible du poêle. Le raccordement doit s’ effectuer sans tension.
L’étanchéité du conduit d’alimentation doit être contrôlée au moyen d’eau savonneuse.
Pour un conduit jusqu’à 10 mètres, des tubes en fer 3/8”G ou en cuivre de 10/12

conviennent. Pour des conduits au-delà de 10 mètres, il faut prévoir 1/2”G ou 13/15 en
cuivre.
1.4 Installation des bûches en céramique.
Ouvrez la porte.
Les bûches en céramique sont emballées séparément du fait de leur fragilité. Attention au
déballage.
Bien respecter le plan pour les positionner correctement.
Installation des buches en céramique.
1.5 Dépose de l’unité brûleur (pour entretien ou réparation)
Ouvrez la porte. Dévissez maintenant les boulons pour démonter lacuve du brûleur.
750GA(P); Démontez la plaque arrière (2 parties).
Démontez le panneau latéral (côté du bloc de sécurité) en dévissant le boulon dans le
panneau latéral. On peut maintenant démonter la plaque de xation du bloc de sécurité
avec 2 boulons.
Démonter la plaque de xation du dispositif protecteur d’écoulement avec 2 vis. N’oubliez
pas de démonter le bulbe du thermostat.
On peut maintenant sortir l’unité brûleur (le brûleur avec le bloc de sécurité) par l’arrière.
Pour remonter l’unité brûleur, pratiquez l’opération en sens inverse.
1.6 Dispositif protecteur d’écoulement
Quand vous remplacez le dispositif protecteur d’écoulement, utilisez seulement le même
type. La plaque de xation du dispositif protecteur d’écoulement peut être démonter avec
2 vis sur le plaque arrière.
Causes nécessitant l’intervention du dispositif protecteur d’écoulement:
• Mauvais raccordement entre le poêle et le conduit de cheminée.
• Le conduit de cheminée entièrement ou partiellement bouché par des débris ou
d’autres objets.
• Tirage insufsant du conduit de cheminée.

2 Mode d’emploi
Attention: Après l’installation de l’appareil, nous vous conseillons de le faire brûler à la
plus haute position et en même temps de bien ventiler, an que la peinture puisse se
stabiliser. Une buée blanche sur la vitre est possible pendant la première période. Avec
un chiffon on peut la nettoyer quand l’appareil est froid.
L’appareil est muni de deux brûleurs. Celui qui se trouve à l’arrière est un brûleur
thermostatique qui module la température selon votre choix.
Celui qui se trouve à l’avant se règle manuellement: mettre le bouton de réglage
correspondant à la hauteur de la amme, dans la position voulue. Cette position est
maintenue jusqu’à un prochain changement.
Les pièces suivantes sont connues par “surface active” à savoir les parties de l’appareil
qui contribuent principalement à chauffer et qui sont de ce fait portées à haute
température.
• les pièces en fonte
• l’échangeur de chaleur
• la vitre
Il est recommandé d’utiliser un écran protecteur en cas de présence d’enfants ou de
personnes âgées.
2.1 L’allumage
Ouvrez le robinet du conduit de gaz.
En appuyant sur le sélecteur de température (A), placez-le sur la position d’allumage “*“ et
le maintenir enfoncé.

Donnez une impulsion sur le bouton d’allumage jusqu’à ce que la veilleuse s’allume,
celle-ci étant visible au travers de la vitre. Répétez si besoin jusqu’à ce que la veilleuse s’
allume.
Quand la veilleuse est allumée, maintenez le sélecteur de température encore environ 30
secondes avant de le relâcher.
Si la veilleuse s’éteint, attendre cinq minutes avant de répéter les opérations décrites ci-
dessus.
En tournant le sélecteur de température dans la position désirée, vous allumez le brûleur
thermostatique (celui qui se trouve à l’arrière). (1 = température minimale; 6 = température
maximale.)
En glisant le bouton de réglage manuel (B) à droite vous allumez le brûleur de devant, si
le sélecteur de température (a) est à position entre 1 et 6.
Attention: il est impératif d’attendre 5 min. avant de rallumer lorsque la veilleuse s’est
éteinte.
2.2 Fonctionnement du thermostat
Le brûleur thermostatique avec le sélecteur ce température assurent le maintien de la
température désirée. Le brûleur fonctionnera à haut régime jusqu’à ce que la température
voulue soit attente, puis le thermostat baisse automatiquement l’intensité du brûleur et
cherche une position d’équilibre. Au fur et à mesure des changements de températures
dans la pièce, l’intensité du brûleur se règle an de maintenir la température désirée.
2.3 Fonctionnement du brûleur manuel
Le brûleur se trouvant à l’avant ne s’allume pas automatiquement: tirez et tournez le
bouton de réglage manuel à gauche pour l’allumage.
Pour éteindre le brûleur manuel, tirez et tournez le bouton vers la droite.
2.4 Eteindre le poêle
Pour éteindre le poêle, mettez le sélecteur de température en position “Eteint” (off) et
appuyez dessus. La veilleuse s’éteint. Dans le cas d’une non utilisation prolongée du
poêle, il est recommandé de fermer le robinet du gaz.
2.5 Dispositif protecteur d ‘ écoulement.
L’ appareil est équipé d’un dispositif protecteur thermique d’ écoulement qui met
hors service la veilleuse ainsi que le brûleur principal en cas de fuite des fumées de
combustion par l’interrupteur du tirage. Ce dispositif est un thermostat qui, en cas
de dépassement d’une certaine température déclenche un contact électrique qui
interrompt ainsi le courant du thermocouplage. Par conséquent, le bloc régulateur coupe
l’alimentation en gaz des deux brûleurs. II ne sera possible de rallumer l’ appareil qu’
après le refroidissement de ce dispositif.

3 Entretien
Il est recommandé de dépoussiérer l’intérieur du poêle de temps en temps même pendant
la saison de chauffe. Si la peinture, se détériore, une application de notre “Thermoblack”
rénovera facilement l’aspect extérieur. N’utilisez que les aérosols Dovre.
En cas de bris ou fêlure de vitre, la remplacer immédiatement.
L’appareil ne peut pas fonctionner avec la porte ouverte.
Nous vous recommandons de faire contrôler au moins une fois par an, votre appareil à
gaz par un installateur agréé.
Durant les premiers feux, ne vous inquiétez pas du dégagement d’odeurs parfois
nauséabondes; ce phénomène disparaît après quelques heures de fonctionnement.
Que-faire en cas d’odeur de gaz?
Ouvrez les fenêtres de la pièce ou du local.
Fermez les communications entre le local où le gaz est perçu et le reste de l’immeuble.
Fermez le robinet de votre compteur de gaz.
Eteignez et évitez tout feu ouvert et toutes ammes. (Donc: pas d’allumettes, pas
de bougies, pas de cigarettes. Ne provoquez pas d’ étincelles. N’actionnez pas les
interrupteurs d’ éclairage.)

1 Installation instructions
The installation and start-up must be carried out by specialist installers in accordance
with the NBN D51-003 standard.
During installation, have your installer explain how to use, operate and maintain your
appliance.
Each appliance is tested, carefully adjusted and sealed in the factory in accordance with
category I2E+ (natural gas) or category I3+ (propane/butane). See the identication plate
for the type of gas for which your appliance is adapted. Any modications of the controls
by unauthorised persons will invalidate the warranty.
1.1 Choosing a location
Keep the connection between the connection collar and the ue pipe as short and
straight as possible. The minimum distance from the appliance to a ammable wall is
20 cm. Ensure that there are no curtains hanging above the appliance.
Combustion consumes oxygen. It is therefore very important that the space in which the
appliance is installed is adequately ventilated. Install ventilation of at least 15 cm² (not
closable).
1.2 Connection to the ue pipe
The ue pipe must comply with the rules described in standard NBN B61-001.
Before connecting the appliance to a ue pipe to which a coal, wood or oil-red stove
was previously connected, it is best to have the ue professionally cleaned. Although
a gas stove can operate with a very small ue draught, we advise you to have the ue
checked every year.
The appliance is connected to the ue using a 100 mm diameter discharge pipe tted
into the connection collar on the rear wall. The cover sits on top of the top plate. Use
corrosion-resistant materials.
This connection pipe should never come below the connection collar of the stove.
Check whether the ue is working correctly by operating the appliance at full capacity
for ten minutes before holding a cold mirror or chromed object to the draught diverter
(behind the appliance below the connection collar). If the mirror or object mists up, the
ue is not functioning sufciently.

1.3 Connection to the gas supply
Check whether the gas type and the gas pressure correspond to the indications on the
identication plate.
An approved AGB/BGV gas valve must be tted as close as possible to the appliance.
The connection must be tension-free.
Check that the gas supply pipe has no leaks (e.g. using soapy water).
For pipes up to +/- 10 m in length, 3/8" G tubes or 10/12 diameter copper tubes are
adequate. For more than 10 m use 1/2" or 13/15 diameter copper tubes.
1.4 Installing the ceramic logs
Unlock the door.
The ceramic logs are packaged separately. Be careful, as the logs are very fragile.
Position the logs as indicated on the plan.
Installing the ceramic blocks
1.5 Access to the burner unit (for maintenance or repairs)
Proceed as follows:
Open the front door and remove the ceramic blocks. You can now unscrew the (M6)
screws from the burner box.
750GA(P): Remove the rear heat shield. Remove the right side panel (side of the control
block) by unscrewing the screw in the side panel and then removing the hinge pins. The
mounting plate of the control block can now be unscrewed (2 x M6).
Remove the thermal switch holder (TTB) by unscrewing the two self-tapping screws on
the back plate. Do not forget to remove the thermostat sensor from its holders.
You can now pull the complete burner unit (control block and burner) out of the back of the
appliance.
To ret the burner unit reverse the order of the steps above.

1.6 Outlet protection
On replacement, only use the original thermal switch, not alternatives. The thermal switch
holder can be removed by unscrewing the two self-tapping screws on the rear wall.
Possible causes for the activation of the outlet protection include:
A bad connection between the stove and the outlet ue.
The outlet ue is wholly or partly blocked by falling debris or similar.
Flue draught is too weak.
An open kitchen with an excessively powerful cooker hood.
2 Instructions for use
Warning: After installation we recommend running the appliance for several hours at
the highest setting with good ventilation, to give the paint a chance of hardening. White
deposits on the glass and the interior may occur during this initial period. This deposit can
be wiped off with a dry cloth once the appliance has cooled down.
The appliance has two burners. The rear burner is controlled by the thermostat knob. You
select the position you want and the controlling thermostat sets the correct temperature.
The front burner is controlled by the hand tap. You choose the position you want and the
burner stays in that position until you change it.
The following parts of the appliance are considered "operating surfaces" and can
therefore reach high temperatures:
• all cast iron components
• the heat exchanger
• the glass surface.
We recommend placing an additional screen around the appliance if children or older
people are present.

2.1 Ignition
Open the gas valve tted in the gas pipe to the appliance.
Turn the thermostat knob to the ignition position (pilot) and press (hold it in pressed
position).
Press the ignition knob until you hear a "click" – this is the ignition spark.
You can see whether the pilot light is burning through the glass window. If necessary click
repeatedly until the pilot light ignites.
When the pilot light is burning, hold the thermostat knob depressed for a further 30
seconds and then release gently.
If the pilot light stops burning, wait ve minutes and then repeat the procedure.
The rear burner is ignited by turning the thermostat knob to the desired position (position
1= low setting, position 6 = high setting).
Turning the slider on the hand tap to the right ignites the front burner, at least if the
thermostat knob is between 1 and 6.
Warning: If the pilot light goes out, you must wait at least ve minutes before re-igniting
the appliance.
2.3 Using the effects burner (front burner)
The front burner will only light if you open the hand tap. Start it by pulling out the knob and
turning it to the left. Turn if off by turning the knob to the right, pulling out and releasing it.
Make sure that the front burner has gone out.
2.4 Extinguishing the stove
To extinguish the stove completely, put the thermostat knob in the "off" position and press
in. The pilot light will then go out.
If the stove is not to be used for a long period, it is also advisable to close the gas cut-off
valve in the inlet pipe.
2.5 Outlet protection
The appliance is tted with thermal outlet protection which cuts out the pilot light and thus
turns off the main burner in the event of leakage of combustion gases from the draught
diverter.
The protective device is a thermostat which opens an electrical contact if a set
temperature is exceeded and thus interrupts power to the thermocouple. This causes the
control block to turn off the gas supply to the main burner and pilot light.
The appliance can only be relit when the protective device has cooled down. The
thermostat cannot just be switched off. Call your installer if the outlet protection is
activated frequently.
