ST6Seriesinstrumentsareintendedformeasurementoflowdifferentialairpressureinandaround
commercialandindustrialairhandlingsystemsandforusewithaPitotStaticTube,dpmAneTMhead,
dpmHoodanddpmShortHood.
Theinstrumentsarenotsuitableforliquidpressuremeasurementandmustnotbeusedwith
corrosive,toxicorotherwisehazardousgases.
Theinstrumentsarenotclassifiedas“Flameproof”or“IntrinsicallySafe”andconsequentlymustnot
beusedwhereanexplosionhazardmayexist.TheyarealsonotauthorisedforLifeSupport
applications.
Duringnormaloperationsmallquantitiesofair(typicallylessthan0.1ml/min)maypassintooroutof
thesystemundertestanditistheresponsibilityoftheusertoconsidertheconsequencesofsuch
leakagebeforedeterminingthesuitabilityoftheinstrumentforanyparticularpurpose.
Theinstrumentmustbeturnedoffbeforeitisstoredortransportedand,ifitistobestoredforalong
periodoftimeoristobetransportedbyair,thebatteriesmustberemoved.
Thereisa12‐monthguaranteeonallmanufacturedparts.
Thisguaranteedoesnotcoveranyconsumables,and/orwearandtearduringnormalorabnormaluse.
Theguaranteebecomesnullandvoidiftheinstrumentspartshavebeentamperedwith,misused,
abusedorusedoutsidetheparameterssetoutinthismanual.
Themanufacturerwilldetermineiftheinstrumentisrepairableorrequiresreplacement;chargesmay
