GENERAL INFORMATION
This manual has been compiled by Draper Tools and should be kept with the product.
This manual describes the purpose for which this item/product has been designed and contains all the
necessary information to ensure its correct and safe use.We recommend that this manual is read before any
operation of the item/product, before performing any kind of adjustment to the item/product, and prior to any
maintenance tasks. By following all the general safety instructions contained in this manual, it will ensure both
item/product and operator safety, together with longer life of the item/product itself.
All photographs and drawings in this manual are supplied by Draper Tools to help illustrate the operation of the
item/product.

The system is operated by one 9V (PP3) battery (not provided), Draper Stock Nos.
62044 or 61837 are recommended.
1. Dismount unit by releasing the securing screw under the unit.
2. Push the unit from the bottom then pull it up from the top as shown in Fig.3.
3. Remove the battery door on the back of the master unit.
4. Connect the 9V battery to the snap connector.
Locate battery on sponge and replace the battery door (Fig.4).
• Replace the battery when the BAT. LOW Red L.E.D. is on.

CONTENTS:
One Master Unit (indoor) with wall mounting bracket.
One Station Unit (outdoor) with wall mounting bracket.
One bundle of connection cable.
Four steel screws (for wall mounting bracket).
Two securing screws (plastic).

OPERATION
OPTIONAL ACCESSORY
Choose the desired location, drill holes by placing the wall mounting bracket as a
template. Using the fixings provided secure the bracket to the wall (Fig.7). Let the
connection cable run through the hole in the mounting brackets and then plug into the
units as shown in Fig. 5.
Adjust the speaker volume using a screwdriver on the back of the master unit (See
Fig.4). Then clip the unit onto the bracket and secure it by fastening the securing screw
at the bottom.
From Master Unit to Station
Press the ‘CALL’ button to send a call buzzer to the Station.
Press ‘ON/OFF’ button, the Green L.E.D. power indicator will come on.
Press the ‘TALK’ button for talking. For listening, release the button.
Switch off by pressing ‘ON/OFF’ button again when not in use.
From Station to Master Unit
Press the ‘CALL’ button to send a call buzzer to the Master Unit.
When a reply is heard and ‘IN USE’ Red L.E.D. light is on, just talk and listen without
pressing the button.
For prolonged continuous use, it is advisable to connect an A.C./D.C. mains adaptor
(not provided) in place of a battery. To use mains adaptor (500mA 9-12V; Centre
Positive Straight Female Type Plug Head, size see Fig.6) as power supply; plug
adaptor’s jack into the socket on the back of the master unit.
