lithium so urce used as b ack up po wer fo r memo ry re tentio n. Extreme care sho uld
be used in sto ra ge, handling, and dispo sal o f pa rts having lithium c o ntent.
Impro per handling may present explo sio n hazard. If the Digital Assembly is to be
dispo sed, remo ve the RAM IC. If re pla cement o f the IC is req uired, ca re fully insert
a b lunt, no nme tallic, to o l be tween the bo tto m face o f the IC and the related so cket.
Pry the IC up at a slight angle and remove with fingers.
•W ear eye pro tectio n when handling co mpo nent with lithium c o ntent.
•Do no t puncture , co mpa ct, incinerate, sho rt circuit, o r expo se the lithium
energy source to temperatures abo ve 17 6 °F (8 0 °C).
