ELECTRICAL SAFETY:
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric
shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do NOT modify the

the cable; that is, 16 gauge has more capacity than 18 gauge. When using more than one extension to
make up the total length, be sure each extension contains at least the minimum 18 gauge wire size.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Plug the DryGuy™Circulator™into any standard 120 Volt 60 Hz electrical household outlets. Carefully
slide into footwear being cautious not to restrict or block air circulation.
2. Do NOT trap, smother, pinch, or suffocate the air circulation into or out of footwear with clothing or any
other substance. This may cause overheating.
3. Do NOT force the DryGuy™Circulator™into smaller footwear. The unit will work by leaving as much
openingattheentrancetofootwearasattainablebeingcarefulnottorestrictorblockairowbyany
means.
4. Leave one inch of free space between DryGuy™Circulator™and the toe end of the shoe or boot.
HELPFUL TIPS:
1. Make sure not to pinch or otherwise suffocate air circulation when placing unit into boots or shoes.
Loosen laces and pull footwear tongue outward to help open breathing space whenever possible.
2. Boots or shoes should be dried after every use to help prevent bacteria and fungus growth which is the
primary cause of footwear odor.
3. Smaller boots, shoes and garments will dry quicker than larger items.
4. Your energy efficient DryGuy™Circulator™heats to a gentle temperature and using Thermal Convection
technology quietly dries wet garments, but it does not generate a forced air movement. At first you may
suspect the unit is not operating properly. We recommend placing the unit into your shoe or boot for a
period of 15 to 20 minutes as the heat will be felt when unit is placed in footwear and in service.
5. NOT FOR USE IN GLOVES, SOCKS OR GARMENTS OTHER THAN BOOTS AND SHOES.
