Sicherheitshinweise
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
❐Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich zum Trocknen und Stylen menschlichen Haupthaares be-
stimmt. Es ist nicht für synthetische Perücken geeignet.
❐Das Gerät ist für den Privatgebrauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche Nutzung geeignet.
❐Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder) mit
eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung
und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für
ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt. Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, um
sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
❐Nutzen Sie das Gerät nur zum angegebenen Zweck und wie in der Anleitung beschrieben.
Jede weitere Verwendung gilt als bestimmungswidrig. Falsche Bedienung und unsachge-
mäße Behandlung können zu Störungen am Gerät und zu Verletzungen des Benutzers

Stromschlaggefahr
❐Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räumen.
❐Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose an. Die Steckdo-
se muss auch nach dem Anschließen gut zugänglich sein. Die Netzspannung muss mit den
Angaben auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen. Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird
die Installation einer Fehlerstromschutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit einem Bemessungsauslöse-
strom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im Badezimmerstromkreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren
Installateur um Rat.
❐Überprüfen Sie das Gerät vor jeder Inbetriebnahme auf Beschädigungen. Wenn das Gerät,
das Netzkabel oder der Stecker sichtbare Schäden aufweisen, darf das Gerät nicht benutzt
werden. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es eine Fehlfunktion hatte, heruntergefallen
oder ins Wasser gefallen ist.
❐Sollte das Gerät defekt sein, versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät eigenständig zu reparieren. Kon-
taktieren Sie in Schadensfällen den Kundenservice.
❐Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose,
– wenn Sie das Gerät nicht verwenden,
– wenn während des Betriebes ein Fehler auftritt,
– wenn Flüssigkeiten oder Fremdkörper in das Gerät gelangt sind,
– vor einem Gewitter,
– bevor Sie es reinigen.
❐Wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen möchten, ziehen Sie immer am Stecker
und nie am Kabel.
❐Das Gerät muss ausgeschaltet sein, wenn Sie den Netzstecker ziehen oder ihn in die
Steckdose stecken.
❐Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten, um
Stromschläge zu vermeiden. Benutzen Sie es niemals beim Baden oder Duschen!
❐Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten ein! Stellen Sie sicher,
dass das Gerät, Kabel oder Stecker nicht ins Wasser fallen oder nass werden können. Sollte

das Gerät ins Wasser fallen, unterbrechen Sie sofort die Stromzufuhr. Versuchen Sie nicht,
das Gerät aus dem Wasser zu ziehen!
❐Berühren Sie das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder den Stecker niemals mit feuchten Händen.
❐Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass es nicht gequetscht oder geknickt wird und nicht mit
scharfen Kanten und heißen Flächen (auch des Gerätes) in Berührung kommt.
❐Stecken Sie nichts in die Öffnungen/Düsen des Gerätes und achten Sie darauf, dass diese
nicht verstopft sind.
Verletzungsgefahren
❐Achtung Erstickungs- und Verletzungsgefahr! Halten Sie das Verpackungsmaterial und das
Gerät von Kindern und Tieren fern. Das Gerät ist kein Spielzeug!
❐Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt eingeschaltet oder an das Stromnetz ange-
schlossen.
❐Achten Sie darauf, dass das angeschlossene Netzkabel keine Stolpergefahr darstellt. Lassen
Sie es nicht über den Rand von Tischen oder Schränken hängen. Es könnte jemand hängen
bleiben und das Gerät herunterziehen.
❐Um Beschädigungen des Haares und der Kopfhaut zu vermeiden, halten Sie die Luftaustritts-
öffnung niemals zu nahe an das Haar.
❐Achtung Verbrennungsgefahr! Die Luftaustrittsöffnung sowie die Aufsätze werden wäh-
rend des Gebrauchs heiß. Achten Sie unbedingt darauf, dass Sie während und nach der
Benutzung des Gerätes nicht mit aufgeheizten Teilen in Berührung kommen. Halten Sie
das Gerät ausschließlich am Griff. Reinigen und verstauen Sie das Gerät nur, wenn es voll-
ständig abgekühlt ist.
❐Richten Sie die heiße Luft nicht auf Augen oder andere empfindliche Körperpartien.
Brandgefahr
❐Dieses Gerät wird während des Betriebs heiß! Brennbare Gegenstände in unmittelbarer
Nähe des Gerätes könnten sich entzünden! Das Gerät darf weder mit brennbaren Materi-
alien in Berührung kommen, noch in der Nähe von brennbaren Materialien, wie z.B. Pappe,
Kunststoff oder Papier, in Betrieb genommen werden.
❐Legen Sie das Gerät im Betrieb nie auf weiche Kissen oder Decken.
❐Decken Sie die Luftansaug- und Austrittsöffnung niemals ab und vergewissern Sie sich vor
jeder Benutzung, dass sie nicht verstopft sind.
❐Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn entzündliche Gase in der Luft vorhanden sind.
❐Halten Sie ausreichend Abstand zu Wärmequellen wie z.B. Herdplatten oder Öfen.
❐Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes vollständig auseinander.
❐Lassen Sie das Gerät immer vollständig auskühlen, bevor Sie es verstauen.
Geräteschäden
❐Benutzen Sie nur Originalteile des Herstellers.
❐Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht fallen und setzen Sie es keinen starken Stößen aus.

❐Ziehen oder tragen Sie das Gerät nicht am Netzkabel. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nie um
das Gerät.
❐Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, starken Temperaturschwankungen,
offenem Feuer, direkter Sonneneinstrahlung, Feuchtigkeit oder Nässe aus. Reinigen Sie es
niemals mit einem Dampfgerät.
Gewährleistungsbestimmungen
Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung,
Beschädigung oder Reparaturversuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch für den normalen Verschleiß.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
ACHTUNG!
❐Halten Sie Kinder und Tiere vom Verpackungsmaterial fern. Es besteht u.a. Erstickungs-
gefahr!
1. Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus der Verpackung und entfernen Sie alle eventuell vorhandenen
Folien und Aufkleber.
2. Überprüfen Sie das Gerät auf Transportschäden. Falls es Schäden aufweisen sollte, ver-
wenden Sie es nicht(!), sondern kontaktieren Sie unseren Kundenservice.
3. Wenn das Gerät aus einer sehr kalten Umgebung in eine warme gebracht wird, lassen Sie
es mindestens 2 Stunden bei Zimmertemperatur aufwärmen, bevor Sie es einschalten. Es
könnte sich Kondenswasser im Gerät bilden.
Bedienung
ACHTUNG!
❐Verbrennungsgefahr Ihrer Haare und Kopfhaut durch zu hoch gewählte Temperatur! Wir
empfehlen Ihnen, mit geringer Temperatur zu beginnen und sie ggf. zu erhöhen.
Wir empfehlen die folgenden Schalterstellungen:
0aus
schonendes Trocknen 1-2
schnelles Trocknen 3
Styling 3
Um das trockene Haar abzukühlen und der Frisur besseren Halt zu geben, sollten
Sie das Haar zum Schluss kalt föhnen (Temperaturstufe 1bzw. ❆Cool-Shot-Taste).
Aufsätze anbringen bzw. abnehmen
Die Ondulierdüse / der Diffusor-Aufsatz wird auf die Luftaustrittsöffnung gesteckt und muss
hörbar einrasten. Zum Abnehmen ziehen Sie die Düse / den Aufsatz einfach ab.

Vorbereitung
1. Waschen Sie Ihre Haare und trocknen Sie sie mit einem Handtuch ab.
2. Kämmen Sie die Haare gründlich durch.
3. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Ein-/Ausschalter des Gerätes in Position 0ist.
4. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel vollständig auseinander und stecken Sie den Netzstecker in
eine gut zugängliche Steckdose (220-240 V~).
Haare schnell trocknen
Benutzen Sie das Gerät ohne Aufsätze.
5. Schalten Sie das Gerät auf höchster Gebläsestufe ein.
6. Wählen Sie die Temperaturstufe 2bzw. 3.
7. Trocknen Sie Ihre Haare gleichmäßig.
8. Stellen Sie zum Schluss die Temperaturstufe 1ein und kühlen Sie Ihre Haare kurz ab.
Haare glätten
5. Trocknen Sie Ihre Haare zunächst ohne einen Aufsatz vor: Schalten Sie das Gerät auf
höchster Gebläsestufe ein und wählen Sie die Temperaturstufe 2bzw. 3.
6. Wenn die Haare nur noch leicht feucht sind, schalten Sie das Gerät aus.
7. Stecken Sie die Ondulierdüse auf die Luftaustrittsöffnung. Sie muss hörbar einrasten.
8. Schalten Sie das Gerät auf niedriger Gebläsestufe und auf hoher Temperaturstufe ein.
9. Föhnen Sie nun jede Strähne einzeln mit Hilfe einer Bürste glatt.
10. Stellen Sie zum Schluss die Temperaturstufe 1ein und kühlen Sie Ihre Haare ab.
Styling
5. Stecken Sie die Ondulierdüse auf die Luftaustrittsöffnung. Sie muss hörbar einrasten.
6. Schalten Sie das Gerät auf niedriger Gebläsestufe und auf hoher Temperaturstufe ein.
7. Formen Sie jede Strähne einzeln z. B. mit Hilfe einer Rundbürste, und föhnen Sie sie dabei.
8. Haben Sie eine Strähne in Form gebracht, drücken Sie die ❆Cool-Shot-Taste und fixieren
Sie die Strähne mit kalter Luft.
Locken und Wellen frisieren
5. Stecken Sie den Diffusor-Aufsatz auf die Luftaustrittsöffnung. Er muss hörbar einrasten.
6. Schalten Sie das Gerät auf niedriger Gebläsestufe und auf hoher Temperaturstufe ein.
7a. Bei kurzem bis mittellangem Haar führen Sie den Diffusor in kleinen kreisenden Bewegun-
gen über den Kopf. Gehen Sie dabei abschnittsweise vor.
7b. Langes Haar trocknen Sie zuerst an den Haarspitzen, indem Sie diese partieweise auf die
Finger legen. Führen Sie dann jede einzelne Partie mit dem Diffusor an den Kopf heran und
verweilen Sie dort. Bewegen Sie den Diffusor leicht kreisend über die Kopfhaut.
8. Fixieren Sie die Haarpartien mit kalter Luft durch Drücken der ❆Cool-Shot-Taste bzw.
Umschalten auf Temperaturstufe 1.
Überhitzungsschutz
Das Gerät ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgerüstet, der bei Überlastung abschaltet, z. B.
wenn die Luftaustritts- oder Ansaugöffnung mit Fusseln und Haaren verdeckt ist.

1. Wenn das Gerät während des Betriebs abschaltet, schalten Sie es aus und ziehen Sie den
Stecker aus der Steckdose.
2. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Luftaustritts- und Ansaugöffnung verstopft sind. Ist das der Fall,
entfernen Sie die Verunreinigungen. Nehmen Sie hierzu das Lufteinlassgitter von der An-
saugöffnung ab: Drücken Sie die Verriegelung zum Gitter und klappen Sie es auf. Setzen Sie
es nach der Reinigung wieder ein (siehe Kapitel „Nach dem Gebrauch“).
3. Warten Sie 5 bis 10 Minuten, bevor Sie das Gerät erneut an das Stromnetz anschließen
und einschalten.
Nach dem Gebrauch
ACHTUNG!
❐Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag! Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose. Halten Sie das Gerät, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker von Wasser oder
anderen Flüssigkeiten fern.
❐Vorsicht Vebrennungsgefahr! Das Gerät ist nach dem Ausschalten noch heiß.
❐Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen keine scharfen oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel oder
Reinigungspads. Diese können die Oberflächen beschädigen.
1. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
2. Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
3. Entfernen Sie Haare, Fusseln oder Staub von der Luftaustritts-
bzw. der Ansaugöffnung. Nehmen Sie hierzu das Lufteinlass-
gitter ab: Drücken Sie die Verriegelung zum Gitter und klap-
pen Sie es auf. Setzen Sie es nach der Reinigung wieder ein.
4. Wischen Sie das Gehäuse bei Bedarf mit einem leicht ange-
feuchteten Tuch ab und trocknen Sie mit einem weichen Tuch
nach. Bei stärkeren Verschmutzungen können Sie zum Reini-
gen des Gehäuses etwas Spülmittel verwenden.
5. Der Diffusor-Aufsatz sowie die Ondulierdüse können bei Bedarf unter fließendem Wasser
mit etwas Spülmittel gereinigt werden. Trocknen Sie alle Aufsätze gründlich, bevor
Sie sie an das Gerät anbringen!
6. Zur Aufbewahrung können Sie das Gerät an der Öse am Griff aufhängen. Bewahren Sie das
Gerät außer Reichweite von Kindern und Tieren an einem trockenen, frostfreien und vor
der Sonne geschützten Ort auf.
Wickeln Sie das Kabel nicht um das Gerät!

Fehlerbehebung
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionieren, überprüfen Sie bitte zunächst, ob Sie ein
Problem selbst beheben können. Kontaktieren Sie ansonsten den Kundenservice. Versuchen
Sie nicht, ein defektes Gerät eigenständig zu reparieren!
Problem mögliche Ursache /Lösung
Das Gerät funktioniert
nicht.
• Steckt der Netzstecker nicht korrekt in der Steckdose?
Korrigieren Sie den Sitz des Netzsteckers.
• Ist die Steckdose defekt? Probieren Sie eine andere Steck-
dose.
• Überprüfen Sie die Sicherung Ihres Netzanschlusses.
Geruchsentwicklung
• Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme: Eine Geruchsentwicklung
tritt bei der ersten Benutzung neuer Geräte häufig auf. Der
Geruch sollte verschwinden, nachdem Sie das Gerät mehr-
mals benutzt haben.
• Das Gerät wurde bereits benutzt: Befinden sich Haare,
Fusseln oder Staub in der Luftaustritts- bzw. der Ansaug-
öffnung? Reinige Sie das Gerät wie im Kapitel „Nach dem
Gebrauch“ beschrieben.
Das Gerät schaltet sich
während der Benutzung aus.
• Der Überhitzungsschutz wurde ausgelöst. Befolgen Sie
die Anweisungen im Abschnitt „Überhitzungsschutz“.

Safety Instructions
Intended Use
❐This device is intended to be used exclusively for drying and styling human head hair. It is not
suitable for synthetic wigs.
❐This device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
❐This device is not suitable for use by people (including children) with restricted physical,
sensory or mental capacity, or who lack experience and/or knowledge, unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the device.
❐Use the device only for the intended purpose and as described in the instructions.Any other
use is deemed to be improper. Incorrect operation and incorrect handling may cause faults
with the device and cause injury to the user.The manufacturer accepts no liability for any
damage caused by improper use.
Danger of Electric Shock
❐Use the device only in closed rooms.
❐Only ever connect the device to a properly installed plug socket.The plug socket must also be
readily accessible after connection.The mains voltage must match the data on the rating plate
of the device. As additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD)
with a rated tripping current of no more than 30 mA in the bathroom electrical circuit is
recommended.Ask your fitter for advice.

Risks of Injury
❐Caution: Danger of suffocation and injury! Keep the packaging material and the device away
from children and animals.The device is not a toy!
❐Never leave the device unattended when it is switched on or connected to the mains.
❐Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard. Do not allow it to
hang over the edge of tables or cupboards. Others may become caught and pull the device
down.
❐To prevent damage to the hair and the scalp, never hold the air outlet opening too close to
your hair.
❐Caution:Danger of burns!The air outlet opening and the attachments will become hot during
use. Make absolutely sure that you do not come into contact with any heated parts during
and after use of the device. Only ever hold the device by the handle. Only clean and store

Before Initial Use
CAUTION!
❐Keep children and animals away from the packaging material.There is a danger of suffocation!
1. Take the device out of the packaging and remove all films and stickers that may be present.
2. Inspect the device for transport damage. If you notice any damage, do not use it(!), but con-
tact our customer service department.
3. If the device is moved from a very cold environment to a warm one, allow it to warm up at
room temperature for at least 2 hours before you switch it on. Condensation might form
inside the device.

Operation
CAUTION!
❐Danger of burns to your head and scalp if temperature chosen is too high! We recommend
that you start with a low temperature and increase it if necessary.
We recommend the following switch positions:

Styling 3
To cool down the dry hair and to give better hold to the hairstyle, you should finish by
blow-drying the hair cold (temperature setting 1or ❆cool shot button).
Attaching and Removing Attachments
The hair-styling nozzle / diffuser attachment is plugged onto the air outlet opening and must be
heard to engage in place.To remove it, simply take off the nozzle / attachment.
Preparation
1. Wash your hair and dry it with a towel.
2. Thoroughly comb through your hair.
3. Make sure that the On/Off switch of the device is in the 0position.
4. Completely unwind the mains cable and plug the mains plug into an easily accessible plug
socket (220-240V~).
Quick Drying of the Hair
Use the device without attachments.
5. Switch on the device on the highest blower setting.
6. Select the temperature setting 2or 3.
7. Dry your hair evenly.
8. Finish off on temperature setting 1and cool down your hair for a short while.
Smoothing the Hair
5. Start off by drying your hair without an attachment: Switch on the device on the highest
blower setting and select the temperature setting 2or 3.
6. When the hair is just slightly damp, switch off the device.
7. Plug the hair-styling nozzle onto the air outlet opening. It must engage audibly.

8. Switch on the device on a low blower setting and a high temperature setting.
9. You should now blow-dry each strand individually using a brush until smooth.
10. Finish off on temperature setting 1and cool down your hair.
Styling
5. Plug the hair-styling nozzle onto the air outlet opening. It must engage audibly.
6. Switch on the device on a low blower setting and a high temperature setting.
7. Shape each strand individually, e.g. using a round brush, and blow-dry it as you do so.
8. Once you have shaped a strand to the style you want, press the ❆cool shot button and fix
the strand in place with cold air.
Styling Curls and Waves
5. Plug the diffuser attachment onto the air outlet opening. It must engage audibly.
6. Switch on the device on a low blower setting and a high temperature setting.
7a. With short to medium-length hair guide the diffuser over the head in small circular move-
ments. Proceed section by section here.
7b. Long hair should first be dried at the tips by placing sections of it on your fingers.Then guide
each individual section towards your head with the diffuser and leave it there for a while.
Move the diffuser over your scalp in small circular movements.
8. Fix the sections of hair in place with cold air by pressing the ❆cool shot button or switching
over to temperature setting 1.
Overheating Protection
The device is equipped with an overheating protection feature that switches off the device when
there is overloading, e.g. if the air outlet or intake opening is covered with fluff and hair.
1. If the device stops working during operation, switch it off and remove the plug from the plug
socket.
2. Check whether the air outlet and intake opening are blocked. If this is the case, remove the
blockages.To do this, remove the air inlet grille from the intake opening: Press the locking
mechanism towards the grille and flip it up. Insert it again after cleaning (see the "After Use"
chapter).
3. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes before you connect the device to the mains power again and switch
it on.

CAUTION!
❐Danger to Life from Electric Shock! Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before
doing any cleaning. Keep the device, the mains cable and the mains plug away from water or
other liquids.
❐Caution: Danger of burns! The device is still hot after it has been switched off.
❐Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the device.These
could damage the surfaces.
1. Switch the device off and pull the mains plug out of the mains socket.
2. Allow the device to cool down.
3. Remove hair, fluff or dust from the air outlet and intake opening.
To do this, remove the air inlet grille: Press the locking mecha-
nism towards the grille and flip it up.Insert it again after cleaning.
4. If necessary, wipe down the housing with a slightly damp cloth
and dry it with a soft cloth. If it is heavily soiled, you can use a
little detergent to clean the housing.
5. If necessary, the diffuser attachment and the hair-styling nozzle can be cleaned under running
water with a little detergent.Dry all attachments thoroughly before you attach them
to the device!
6. For storage, you can hang the device on the eyelet on the handle. Keep the device out of the
reach of children and animals in a dry, frost-free place that is protected from the sun.
Do not wind the cable around the device!
Troubleshooting
If the device is not working properly, please check first of all whether you are able to rectify a
problem yourself. Otherwise you should contact the customer service department. Do not at-
tempt to repair a defective device yourself!
