Replacing Soundcra Signature
Power Supply

You must be very careful when disassembling the old power supply and installing the new
one.
Life-threatening high voltages are present if you forget to unplug the power supply.
You should also wait a while for the voltages to dissipate before dismantling the old power
supply.
You are responsible for this yourself, Pro Audio Parts and/or DSA-AVL can never be held
responsible for damage.
If you work neatly, accurately and with attention, then it is a fairly simple procedure.
Always work without the mains plug being connected.
If you have doubts about your skills, buy the power supply and have it installed by a skilled
electronics technician.

In this tutorial we use a Signature 10 as an example. e number of screws can
be more depending on your model.
1. Remove both Side cheeks of the console 3 screws per side

2. Remove the screws that are on the side of the console (4 per side)
3. Remove the 3 screws that are on the back of the console.

4. Remove 3 screws that are located on the bottom of the console
5. You can now ip open the console

6. Disconnect the white 9-pin powersupply cable

7. Remove these two screws
8. Remove the RF Shield

9. Remove the screw to remove the Ground wire from the chassis

9. Remove 2 screws from the backpanel and remove 2 screws from the IEC Connector
10. Now you can slide out the old Powersupply

11. e last thing to do is removing the insulator on the back of the Powersupply, you will
need it on your new Power Supply!
is insulator is held by 4 plastic snap rivets
You can remove them by pushing in the middle of the rivet so the middle pin will slide out.

12. Now you can mount the new Powersupply by following the same steps but in reverse.
