OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
T e WLS909 wireless key allows you to arm
and disarm your alarm system, as well as
perform ot er keypad functions, from a unit
small enoug to keep in your pocket.
Toget er wit your installer, you can decide
w ic functions you wis to ave accessible
from your portable key.
To activate any one of t e four selected
functions, press and old t e appropriate
button for two seconds. Your installer will
indicate eac function by applying a circular
label beside eac of t e four buttons.
Signals will not be received if the
key is not within the range of the
wireless receiver.
Some of t e most commonly used functions are as follows:
Stay Arming
Press t is button to arm your system in t e Stay mode. All perimeter zones will be
armed, suc as all window and door contacts, but t e interior zones will remain
inactive, allowing you to stay on t e premises wit out setting off an alarm.
Away Arming*
Press t is button to arm your system in t e Away mode. Bot t e interior
and exterior zones will be armed, allowing you to exit t e premises.
Disarm*
Press t is button to disarm your system. You do not ave to enter your
access code w en you use t e key to disarm t e system.
Fire
Press t is button to notify your central monitoring station of a fire condition.
Auxiliary
Press t is button to notify your central monitoring station of a non-medical
emergency. Please discuss t e functionality of t is button wit your installer.
Panic
Press t is button to notify your central monitoring station of a situation
requiring t e police, suc as a break-in.
Ot er options are available. Please discuss all WLS909 options wit your
installer in order to program t e best possible combination to suit your needs.

Replacing WLS909 Key Batteries
To replace t e batteries, remove t e screw on t e back of t e
key and carefully separate t e two sides of t e key’s plastic
casing. Remove t e old batteries from between t e two metal
clips. Insert t e new batteries according to t e diagram at left
and reattac t e two sides of t e key’s plastic casing. T e
WLS909 requires t ree batteries of type LR44.
NOTE: The polarity of the batteries must be observed.
