About this User Manual
This User Manual is available and effective upon completion of development of MAG6801 network address
terminal. The User Manual includes production description, matters needing attentions in use, instructions on
system connection, instructions on use of product and technical specifications of the network address terminal.
Please read this User Manual carefully before connection, installation and use and operate in accordance with
corresponding instructions in the Manual.
This symbol on the rear panel indicates matters needing attentions, please use or operate the
product in accordance with corresponding instructions.
Please keep this User Manual in good custody for future use.

Matters Needing Attention
Please read the following carefully before any operation.
Warning
In order to avoid any potential personal injury as well as loss or damages to equipment or
property, please DO follow the basic instructions as given below. Such instructions include with
limitation to the following:
Power supply/power wire
• Please hold the plug other than the power wire when
trying to remove the plug from sockets. Pulling the
power wire may result in damages.
• Please do NOT place the power wire anywhere near
the heat source. Please do NOT bend or buckle the
power wire or place it where it may be stepped on or
may trip passer-by.
• This equipment is connected to the power grid through
the plus, so when any fault or danger occurs, the user
should remove the plug from the socket to disconnect
the equipment from power grid, therefore, it is important
to place the power socket where it is easily accessible.
• When the power switch of this equipment is "OFF", the
equipment is not disconnected from the power source;
therefore, for purposes of safety, the user should remove
the plug from power socket when the equipment is not in
use.
Installation Location
• Please disconnect the equipment from power source
before relocation.
• In order to avoid deformation of the panels and
damages to components, please do NOT place the
equipment where there is excessive dust, vibration or
extreme cold or hot conditions.
• Please keep this equipment off water drops or splash or
vase filled with water or any other articles of similar
nature.
Connection
• Please disconnect the power supply when the
equipment is connected to any other equipment. Please
turn the volume down to the minimum level before
switching on or powering off the equipment.
• Symbols of on any terminal in the equipment
indicate that such terminal is live and dangerous and any
connecting operation should be done by trained
personnel.
In case any abnormal condition is detected,
• If the power wire is worn or damaged, resulting in
sudden interrupt of sound or abnormal smell or smoke
during use, please cut off the power supply immediately
and have the equipment inspected by professional
personnel.
Matters needing attentions in operation
• Please do NOT put your finger in any gap or opening
of the equipment.
• Please keep any foreign matters (paper, plastic or metal)
from being inserted in any gap or opening of the
equipment. In such cases, please cut off the power
supply immediately.
• Please do NOT put any part of your body or any heavy
object on the equipment and please be careful when
operating any button or switch of the equipment or when
connecting the equipment.
Please do NOT disassemble the equipment
• Please do NOT remove the cover of the equipment;
otherwise you may get an electric shock.
• Please do NOT attempt to disassemble any component
of the equipment or make any modifications in whatever
manner. If any abnormal phenomenon is observed,
please stop using the equipment immediately and have it
inspected by professional personnel.
Other Precautions
• Our company will be take responsibility for data loss
or damages resulting from improper user or
unauthorized modifications.
• All figures included in this Manual are for description
purposes and there may be slight difference in your
actual application. Please refer to the actual product.

1. Product Description
1.1 About MAG6801 Network Audio Terminal
MAG6801 network audio terminal is a TCP/IP based full digital analog-digital conversion signal
processor, with dual network interface redundancy design and may be deployed anywhere with
network access. This device allows output of audio signals from remote audio streaming media
under intelligent control of the controller; the device provides one emergency audio input port for
connection to emergency signals from fire control center and another emergency audio output port
for connection to emergency amplifier; the device does not require any local operation and can
work after properly configured via management software.
1.2 Performance specification
Module design, a network PA terminal with single-channel audio output.
It adopts dual network redundancy design and network expansion port can be connected
to other 100M network equipment.
10M / 100M adaptive network transmission
It supports maximum 48 kHz sampling rate and 16bit MP3/ WAV/PCM decoding.
Low power design.
Built-in monitor speaker function
Customizable network protocol interface.
Full digital design, high fidelity, high voice transmission index.
With strong insertion input, link output.
DC 24V/1000MAoutput and short-circuit output under respective control.
Local volume is controllable.

2. Structure Description
2.1 Description of Front Panel
1 Power switch
When button "I" is pressed down, the device is powered on, and when "O" button is pressed, the device
is powered off.
2 Power /fault indicating LED (POWER)
The indicating LED is one when the device is powered on and turns off when the device is powered off.
3 Built-in speaker
User may monitor the playing status on any channel by switching the selection knob to designed channel.
4 Monitor Switch (MONITOR SW)
The device is a single-channel audio output channel and the user can activate local monitoring by
switching the dotted position on the knob to "ON" position and disable the monitoring function by
switching the knob to "OFF" position.
5 Monitor volume adjusting knob (MONITOR VOL)
This knob is for adjustment of monitoring volume.

2.2 Introduction to functions on rear panel
1. Indicating LED setting
Each channel corresponds to an indicating LED on the panel which is on when the corresponding
channel is in setting mode.
2. Setting switch
This switch is a software switch for setting of the device and each button represents a channel, so the
user can set set up the channel by operating the corresponding switch.
3. Network indicating LED
This LED is on when the device is connected to the controller via network.
4. Network interface
This device provides two network ports for connection to network switch(es).
5. Override input
Connect the source device (such as DVD player, etc.) to expand the audio source.
6. Input levelAdjustment
Adjust the knob according to the level of the input audio signal.
7. Break-in link output
It is for connection to other terminals, with up to 4 terminals allowed.
8. Audio output port
This device is a single-channel audio output terminal and only CH1 out of the four channels is available,
with all others disabled. Corresponding indicating LED is on when there is signal output. This port is for
connection to other amplifiers to extend the power of this terminal.
9. Warning output
1-2 COM-24V (Connected to the network host, CH1 output is controllable, 24V total current is 1A)
1-3 COM-SC (Connect to the network host, CH1 short-circuit output is controllable)
10. Power socket
The device provides anAC 220V power input port, please connect the power cable to the device before it
is connected to any power source.

①The diagram as shown above only provides general instructions on application of MAG6801 terminal,
please refer to the User Manual of Network PublicAddress Controller for information as to connection
of the whole system.
②The diagram as shown above is only for information, please refer to system connection diagram for
detailed information.
③MAG6801 terminal must be connected to the system via a network switch, on which corresponding address
must be configured to realize connection to the controller.

3.2 Diagram of connection of local ports on MAG6801 terminal
This device allows audio signal output and the audio channel is for connection to amplifiers and speakers to
extend the power of this terminal. The customized design of this device can meet the needs for high power and
multiple audio source at terminal site. In such application with customized needs, the device may be connected to
an external audio source or amplifier and the network audio streaming function provide by the device can meet
public address needs in most cases.

4 . Operation Instruction
When the MAG6801 audio terminal is extended in a network PA system, the network priority mode of this
terminal can be set in IE browser, as shown below.
Local network Preferences: Three priority modes, when the local option is selected, the local audio source first
outputs, the same as the network option, and when you select Mix, both local and network output simultaneously.

5 . IPAddress Setting
Method 1:
1. Modify the IP address of the configured computer, requiring that the configuration of the computer IP and audio
output terminal address on the same network segment. For example, the audio output terminal IP address is
192.168.40.188, the IP setting of the computer is configured to 192.168.40.250, (note that IP conflict is not present
in IP settings);
2. The host and terminal after the completion of the connection in the host IE browser input audio output terminal
label IP address, can enter the following (Figure 1) shown;
3. After modifying the IP address or server address on the Network configuration section, click Confirm
Modifications to save the changes successfully.

Method Two:
1. Access to the host software "settings"-"System maintenance"-"equipment maintenance"
2. Find the IP address on the audio output terminal label, select and click Modify
3. As shown (Figure 2 below), modify the parameters and click OK to see the display of success on the interface
(Figure 2)

Precautions for safety in use
1 Safety precautions
Please do NOT connect the power plug of this equipment to the power source before the system is
properly connected.
The user should make sure that the input voltage to this equipment agrees with the voltage requirements,
otherwise, the equipment may be damaged.
There is dangerous voltage in the equipment which can cause electric shocks, so do NOT remove the
case without authorization in order to avoid electric shock.
When the power switch of this equipment is "OFF", the equipment is not disconnected from the power
source, therefore, for purposes of safety, the user should remove the plug from power socket when the
equipment is not in use.
Please do NOT place the equipment where it is too cold or too hot.
The user should make sure the installation position is well ventilated, otherwise the heat generated
during equipment operation may build up and damage the equipment.
Please remove the plug from power socket during cloudy or humid weather or when the equipment is
not in use for a long time.
Please remove the plug from power socket before any component is removed or re-installed or any
equipment is disconnected or re-connected, so as to ensure that the equipment is completely
disconnected from the power source.
When any fault occurs, please do NOT remove the case for repair without authorization, in order to
avoid accident or further damages.
Please do NOT place any corrosive chemicals on or near the equipment.
2 After-sales services
Our Company provides a three-year warranty (including free replacement of damaged parts) against
any fault occurring under normal use in accordance with this User Manual as from the purchase date.
In such cases, the user must provide the user's page of the Warranty Card and the purchase invoice of
such product.
The following will be expressly excluded from the warranty:
(1)Product damage due to improper installation, use or handling;
(2)Product damages due to abnormal conditions (such as over-voltage or excessive ambient
humidity);
(3)Product damages due to an Act of God or accidents;
(4)Product serial number is changed, altered or removed;
(5)Product is repaired or modified by unauthorized person.
Please keep the User Manual and Warranty Card in good custody.
