1. Selectastation
ATuningin Click BAND keyforbandselecting.Click UP or DOWN keyfor
tuningstepbystep(FM:50kHz/stepAM:9kHz/step).Ifkeeping UP or DOWN pressed
downfor1second,itwill searchcontinuouslyuntil astationtunedinordon’tin30
seconds.
BCallingout Click BAND keyforbandselecting. ClickonekeyofM1to+10 for
callingoutastationwhichstoredinM1toM10.Press down M+10 keyfor1secondwith
CH1_ appearsontheVFDscreen,andthenclickoneofM1toM9forcallingoutthe
stationstoredinM11 toM19.Press down M+10 keyfor2secondsforcallingoutthe
stationstoredinM20.
2. Saveastation
ASavewithautosearch Click BAND keyforbandselecting.Click AUTO key
withthesymbol AUTO”flashingontheVFDscreen, andthenclick UP or DOWN keyfor
startingtosearchstationfromthelowestfrequencytothehighestfrequencyofthebandor
inreverseorder.Thestationsreceivedwill besavedintothememoriesfromM1toM20
until searchingtotheendofthebandorall memoriesfilledup.ThestationstoredinM1
will becalledoutwhenAUTOSEARCHcomestotheend.
BSavemanually Click MEMO keywiththesymbols MEN”and CH__”flashing
ontheVFDscreen.ClickonekeyofM1toM+10 asthewaymentionedinsection1·Bfor
memoryselectionandthenclick MEMO keyonce againtosavethestationreceivedat
presentintothememoryselected. Thescreenwill resumetoreceivingmodewhendone.
3. Mono/Stereoswitching
Click MONO keyincircleforswitchingbetweenStereoModeandMonoModeofthe
receiver.StereoModeisforFMonly.Thestereofunctionwill beactivatedautomatically
withthesymbol STEREO”flashinginStereoModewhiletheFMstereosignalisstrong
enough. ButtheS/NofMonoModeisbetterthanthatofStereoMode.
4. Remotewithcomputelink
ThissetcanbecontrolledbyaprogrammanagerofABK-PAseries(orDSPPA-MP
seriesandDSPPA-MAGseries)viaalinkcord.Forthispurpose fitalinkcordfromthe
RemoteLinkportofthissettothelinkportoftheprogrammanager.Wecanusethe
managertomakeprogramsortimingsforthisset.
