INSTALLATION OF THE FAUCET
1 New Faucet Installation
Shut off the water supply and remove the old faucet by disconnecting it from the supply
tubes under the sink, and unscrewing the faucet from the countertop by removing
mounting nuts. Clean the sink top surface in preparation for the new faucet. If you are
fastening the deck plate to your faucet apply plumbers putty, or other suitable sealant,
to the bottom edges of the base plate. Once applied, align the base plate and press into
place to firmly attach to sink. When finished, remove any excess plumbers putty and
place deck plate into base plate.
2 Install Faucet on Sink Top
Remove both the locknut and washer provided. Place the faucet on the sink and feed
the hoses down through the center hole in the sink. From below secure the faucet by
reattaching the locknut and washer and screw down until they are tight. Make sure that
you tighten the locknut before the screws.
3 Drain Installation
Remove the stopper from the drain and unscrew the drain from the plastic pipe. Remove
plastic locknut, washer, and rubber seal from the drain. Apply plumbers putty or silicone
sealant to the bottom edges of the drain. Once applied, press firmly into place (Note:
there should be excess plumbers putty pushing out from the edges. This can be removed
later). Attach the rubber seal, washer, and locknut back onto the bottom of the sink.
Once applied, attach the plastic pipe with the retaining nut attached and screw into
place.
4Install Horizontal Pivot Rod
Remove the retaining nut while being sure to leave the plastic ring inside. Next, remove
the metal spring attached to the horizontal pivot rod, ball first, into the pipe, and feed the
retaining nut over the rod and lightly attach without tightening.

5Insert Stopper
Now, with the horizontal pivot rod in place, but not tightened down, insert the stopper
making sure the end of the horizontal pivot rod goes through the loop at the bottom of
the stopper. Once the rod is through the hole, tighten down the retaining nut to secure
the rod in the loop.
6Attach Clevis
Put the spring from the horizontal pivot rod halfway onto the rod. While it is half on attach
the clevis (choosing the hole to match the needed height for your sink or preference).
Next, lock the clevis onto place by completely attaching the spring and sliding it along
the horizontal pivot rod to a desired location.
7Attach Stopper Rod
Loosen the clevis screw until you can insert the stopper rod. Now, from above the sink,
feed the stopped rod down through the faucet opening and through the holes in the
clevis. Tighten down the clevis screw to secure the stopper rod.
8Connect Supplies
Loosen the clevis screw until you can insert the stopper rod. Now, from above the sink,
feed the stopped rod down through the faucet opening and through the holes in the
clevis. Tighten down the clevis screw to secure the stopper rod.
9Flush Lines
Remove the aerator by unscrewing it from the faucet spout. Turn on the hot and cold
water supply lines, and turn the faucet handle to the cold side and lift the handle to the
“on” position. Run the water for 30 to 60 seconds to remove any potential debris. Rotate
the handle to the warn side and run for a minute. During the process watch for any water
leaks in the pipes. Reinstall the aerator and start enjoying your new Dura Faucet.
