Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain for future reference .
• Check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate corresponds with that of the
local network before connecting the product to the mains power supply.
• When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always be
followed.
• Please operate according to this manual, otherwise the protection provided by the
device will be impaired or fail.
• There are no user-serviceable parts in this product. Refer servicing to qualied
personnel.
• Do not operate this product with a damaged plug or cord, after a malfunction or
after being dropped or damaged in any way.
• Check the product before use for any damage. Should you notice any damage on
the cable or casing, do not use.
• This product must be earthed using the mains power cord ground connection.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
• Always disconnect from the mains when the product is not in use or before

• Plug in the mains cord to the socket on the rear of the unit and connect to the
mains supply and switch the power on.
• Adjust the rotary output control to the DC voltage output you require. The upper
gure on the LCD will display the value.
• Connect the device you wish to power to the output terminals using the included
connection leads observing the correct polarity.
• Ensure the load is within tolerance of the voltage value set.
Constant current adjustment method
• Adjust the voltage output to the required voltage.
• Press the CV/CC button and CC/CV with illuminate on the LED display.
• Short the + and - terminals at the output terminals.
• Press the UP or DOWN buttons to obtain the required current value.
• Press and hold the UP or DOWN button and the value will continuously rise or fall.
• Break the shorted connection between + and - then connect the load to begin
operation.
• The setting is stored in memory when powering off and recovered from memory by
pressing the CV/CC button when powering on.
Note: When the power supply is used with an inductance load such as a DC electric
buzzer, install a 4,700uF - 2,200uF 50V electrolytic capacitor across the extension
terminals.

Note: When the power supply is used with high frequency instruments such as an
ultrasonic soldering tool, the power supply should be grounded using the marked GND
terminals.

MAINTENANCE
SPECIFICATIONS
• Periodically wipe the case with damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use
abrasives or solvents for cleaning. Disconnect from the mains supply rst.
• Clean the connection leads occasionally, as dirt on the clips and plugs can affect
power transmission.
• Take care to avoid scratching the glass displays when cleaning the LCD.
