If you give this device to other people, please also pass on
this manual.
• Only use this device in accordance with the instructions in
this user manual.

people with restricted physical, sensory or mental capacity

under supervision or have been given instructions about
safely using the device and are aware of the potential
hazards. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and
maintenance must not be done by children unless they are
over the age of 8 and under supervision.
• This device is intended for domestic or similar use, not for
professional use.
• The warranty will expire immediately if damage has been
caused by failing to comply with this user manual. The
manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by non-
compliance with the user manual, negligent use or use which
does not comply with conditions in this user manual.

ELECTRICITY AND HEAT
• Prior to use, check that the mains voltage is the same as the
mains voltage stated on the name plate of the device.
• Make sure your hands are dry before touching the device.
• Plug the device into an earthed electrical outlet that is easily
accessible at all times.
• Switch OFF the device and remove it if you discover any faults
during use, find any signs of damage, are not using the device
or are cleaning it.
• Remove the device from the power socket during lightning
storms or if unused for long periods of time.
• To reduce or prevent the risk of personal injury, electrical
shock, fire or damage to the device, never insert metal
objects or any body parts in any opening or ports.

• Do not use or store the device in the immediate vicinity of
heat sources such as naked flames.

USE
• Prior to use, check the device for visible external damage.
Never operate the device if it is damaged.
• This device is not a toy and should be kept under strict
supervision to prevent children from using the device as a toy.
• Do not allow children to clean or maintain this
device unsupervised.
• Never allow children to use domestic appliances as toys or
without supervision. Children are unable to judge the hazards
associated with incorrectly using electric appliances.
• Children in the vicinity of the device must always be
supervised by an adult.

 INSTALLING AND USING THE DEVICE
Open the packaging carefully before taking out the device.
Remove the device from the box. Remove any protective film or
plastic from the device. Make sure the device is complete and
undamaged. If any components are missing or damaged, contact
the vendor and do no use the product. Retain the packaging or
recycle in accordance with local regulations.

INSTALLING AND USING THE DEVICE
Plug the power plug (A) of the device into an earthed electrical
outlet that is easily accessible at all times. The LED ring (C)
flashes red, indicating it is in WIFI pairing mode. In case the
device is not paired, the LED ring will light up red continuously
after ± 5 minutes. Power ON/OFF the device by pressing the
power button (B). The device is now ready for use and the
adapter or power plug of the appliance you want to use can be
plugged into the pass through socket (D).

CONTROLLING YOUR DEVICE BY MEANS OF THE
SMART APP
To control your device by means of your smartphone or tablet,
download the “Smart Life” app which is available for Android and
IOS. You can download the app from the app store of your device
(Play Store or Apple Store). You can also scan the QR code below,
which will guide you to the Smart Life app of your app store.
INSTALLING THE SMART LIFE APP
• Download and install the “Smart Life” app on your
smartphone or tablet.
• Open the “Smart Life” app.
• It is recommended to create a user account, so you can store
your personal user settings.
CONNECTING THE DEVICE WITH THE SMART LIFE APP
• Make sure the WIFI function is enabled in your smartphone
or tablet.
• Make sure that the device is within a 5 metre distance from
your (2.4 GHz) WIFI router.
• When the device is plugged into an electrical outlet, the LED
ring (C) flashes rapidly.
• If the LED ring (C) is not flashing, press the power button (B)
for ± 5 seconds, the LED ring (C) switches off for ± 3 seconds
and then flashes red rapidly.

• Note! If the LED ring (C) is flashing red slowly, it is indicating
it is in AP set up mode. Press the power button (B) for ± 5
seconds again until the LED ring flashes red rapidly.
• Launch the “Smart Life” app and select ”+” or “add device”.
• Select “Electrical” and select “Plug (BLE+Wi-Fi)” in the
“Socket” section.
• Select your WIFI network and enter the password of your
WIFI network.
• Follow the further instructions and confirm that the LED ring
(C) is blinking rapidly.
• When confirmed, the device is added to the APP.
• Once the device has been successfully connected, the LED
ring (C) stops flashing. Now you can operate the device using
the Smart Life app.
Note! A prerequisite is a permanent WIFI connection to
your router.
Note! You can add the device once, under one user account.
You can log in on multiple smartphones or tablets with one
user account.
Note! You cannot connect the device with multiple user
accounts simultaneously!

USING THE APP
This device allows you to operate the following functions via your
WIFI network.
• Power ON/OFF
• Change of colours
• Colour scene settings
• Create your personal schedules
• Set a timer
• Change settings
• Device electricity statistics
CLEANING
• Before cleaning the device, always disconnect the device
from the electrical outlet.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device.
• Clean the exterior of the device with a soft dry cloth.

ELEKTRICITEIT EN WARMTE

• Zorg ervoor dat uw handen droog zijn voordat u het
apparaat aanraakt.
• Steek het apparaat in een geaard stopcontact dat op elk
moment gemakkelijk bereikbaar is.

• Schakel het apparaat uit en haal het uit het stopcontact als u
tijdens het gebruik fouten ontdekt, tekenen van beschadiging
aantreft, het apparaat niet gebruikt of het schoonmaakt.
• Haal de stekker van het apparaat uit het stopcontact als
het onweert of als u het apparaat gedurende langere tijd
niet gebruikt.
• Steek nooit metalen voorwerpen of lichaamsdelen in
openingen of poorten om het risico van persoonlijk letsel,
elektrische schok, brand of schade aan het apparaat te
verminderen of voorkomen.

GEBRUIK
• Controleer het apparaat vóór gebruik op zichtbare

huishoudelijke apparatuur; houd altijd toezicht. Kinderen zijn
niet in staat de gevaren te beoordelen die gepaard gaan met

• Kinderen in de buurt van het apparaat moeten altijd door een
volwassene in de gaten worden gehouden.

apparaat te reinigen.

te maken.
• Pak het apparaat niet op als het in het water of een andere
vloeistof is gevallen. Haal de stekker onmiddellijk uit het
stopcontact. Gebruik het apparaat niet meer.

• Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of een
andere vloeistof.
• Probeer het apparaat niet te demonteren, te repareren of

• Laat reparaties uitsluitend uitvoeren door een gekwalificeerd
servicecentrum. Erkend servicecentrum: serviceafdeling van
de fabrikant of winkel die erkend en bevoegd is om dergelijke
reparaties uit te voeren, zodat mogelijke gevaren worden
vermeden. Als u problemen met het apparaat ondervindt,
breng het dan naar dit servicecentrum.
BELANGRIJKE INFORMATIE, VOLG DEZE
INSTRUCTIES OP

stopcontact. Gebruik het apparaat niet meer.
 INSTALLATIE EN GEBRUIK VAN
HET APPARAAT
Open de verpakking voorzichtig en haal het apparaat eruit. Haal
het apparaat uit de doos. Verwijder eventuele beschermfolie
of plastic van het apparaat. Controleer of het apparaat volledig
en onbeschadigd is. Mochten er onderdelen beschadigd zijn of
ontbreken, neem dan contact op met de verkoper en gebruik het
product niet meer. Bewaar de verpakking of recycle deze zoals
voorgeschreven door lokale regelgeving.
