Safety Precaution
Caution
The display system is not meant for outdoor use.
After shutting down the power to the display, do not touch the printed circuit boards (PCB) and
their components to avoid electric shock.
Checking any electrical wire or any components on the PCBs, turn off the power to the display
and unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
Do not arbitrarily disassemble and change the electric connecting dispositions, cords or
components inside the display system.
Check that the operating voltage of the display system is identical with the voltage of your local
power supply.
Ensure that the display system is grounded correctly.
After the power is shut off, do not move the display until the rotating screen reaches a complete
stop.
Do not allow anything to fall into the display chamber or the base.
Do not tilt the display system.
Ensure the location of where the unit is the ambient temperature is less than 30 °C or over 0 °C
Ensure all the cable connectors and the power plugs are connected securely in place before
turning on the display system
Do not move the display system while operating.
Do not unplug the display system while in use.

Follow the diagrams below to unpack the crate. You will need a 13mm socket wrench.

Installation
Connecting a plug to the display
In the series of steps below shows how to connect a 220v plug to the display’s power cable.
1. Choose the correct plug for your outlet; insert the green wire (ground) as shown below.
2. Secure the screw tightly.
3. Secure down the black wire (line), shown in photo 3.
4. Secure down the white wire (line), shown in photo 4.
5. Ensure all the screws are tight and close up the plug.

Permanent ground installation
Step 1.List of parts to mount display to the ground:
(1) Ground mounting bracket x 3 pcs
(2) Anchor x 3 pcs
(3) Hexagon-socket-head-cap screw M10 * 30 x 6 pcs

Step 2. Drive the three anchors into the ground with the angles shown below.
Note: We recommend having the work done by a specialist.

Step 3. Turn the screws to fix the ground mounting
brackets.
The positions are shown below.
CAUTION: The washer needs to be placed into the
bolt as shown below.

Step 4. Move the display to the preferred place and use the nuts to fasten the display to the ground.
CAUTION: Ensure the nuts have been fastened with the anchor.

(1) Unscrew A. (2) Align B with the anchor.
(3) Tighten C. (4) Tighten A.

Functions of the DynaScan
Each component is labeled below:
1. Power ON/OFF LEDs for the DynaScan (controls the DynaScan spinning)

1. Turn ON/OFF the display. Press the power switch (1).

Options
Digital Media Player
Store, schedule and play video content directly from computer. Included user-friendly software
provides full playback and monitoring control. The Digital Media Player includes both a multi-
card reader for playback of removable media, as well as a video capture card for broadcast feeds
from cable TV boxes, DVD players, video cameras, and even video gaming systems. Included
software supports playback for AVI, MPEG1, MPEG2, WMV, Flash, JPG, BMP, and Power Point
presentations.

Video Input Box
Display video from virtually any video source. Works like a regular television set connecting to
devices such as a DVD player for movie playback, a video camera for a live video feed, or
satellite or cable box to display live video broadcasts. Infrared remote adjusts image rotation,
brightness & color settings. The included timer provides daily power control.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Displays Screen Shield
Before you start cleaning
Ensure 360° LED display is shut down.
Do not spread or spill liquids onto the 360° LED display or the screen shield.
Do not use Toluene (Methyl Benzene), thinner, gasoline, or any acidic dissolvent to clean the
screen shield, as these could damage or discolor the material.
Cleaning the Screen Shield
Use a clean, damp microfiber cloth to gently wipe the outer shield of the DynaScan display.
If the screen shield is stained with oil or other contaminates that cannot be cleaned with
clean water, you may need to use anti-static cleaner and soft, microfiber cloth to lightly wipe
dirt and dust off the screen. Only use an anti-static cleaner which is labeled as Safe on
Plastic.

Cleaning Display Filters
All filters of the DynaScan display should be cleaned quarterly. Remove filter before cleaning. Use
normal tap water to clean the filters. Do not use any sort of acidic cleaners or detergents. If a
replacement filter is needed, please contact your DynaScan dealer.
The following DS0616 360 Degree LED Display filters to be cleaned are located on the base and top
of the display.
Base Filter
1. Loosen the four screws shown above and repeat process for the other base filters.
Top Cover
1. Loosen the six screws located on the top cover to remove it.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any problems with the display, please double check the following quick solutions
below. If this troubleshooting section does not solve your problems with the display, please contact your
local dealer or DynaScan Technology, Inc. directly.
Problem
Recommended Solution
Issue: DynaScan 360° display does not turn on.
Check the connections of all cables, and plugs.
Check if the power switches are in ON position.
Check DynaScan display circuit breakers.
Check building circuit breaker.
Issue: No video appears on the screen.
Check the video player power button is turned ON.
Check video cable connections.
Check the power for the display.
Check video source and/or if software is playing.
Issue: Screen is flashing unstably.
Restart the player.
If the same problem persists, check the power and the
connection of the power plug.
Issue: Abnormal color and/or sound.
Issue: Screen displays improperly.
Issue: Flickering.
