1 Important safety instructions

only in accordance with the operating instructions.

heaters, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers)
that produce heat.
9) The device must be connected to a grounded outlet.
10) Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched.
Pay particular attention to the plug and the area where the
power cord comes out of the unit.
11) Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
12) During a thunderstorm and when not in use for a long time,
please unplug the power cord.

The lightning flash in the equilateral triangle indicates
dangerous high voltage inside the device which may
cause electric shock.
The exclamation point within the equilateral triangle is
intended to alert the user to the presence of important
operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in
the literature accompanying the product.
Warning
High-voltage parts are built into this device. Do
not remove the housing on the rear side. Leave
repairs to qualified service personnel.
To prevent fire or electrical shock, do not
expose the unit to rain or moisture.
Do not throw any objects against the device,
into the housing or into other openings of the
device. Do not splash any liquids against the
device.
Do not cover the fans on the rear panel of the
TV. Sufficient ventilation is required to prevent
damage to the electrical components.

Attention

Notes on environmental protection
At the end of its service life, this product must not be
disposed of with normal household waste, but must be
taken to a collection point for the recycling of electrical

in the operating instructions or on the packaging

3 Intended use
The device is intended for the reception and viewing of
encrypted and unencrypted digital SD and HD satellite, DVB-S,
DVB-T and DVB-C cable TV channels, as well as for the use of
the pre-installed online services for private use. It is intended
exclusively for this purpose and may only be used for this
purpose. This also includes observing all information contained
in these operating instructions, in particular the safety
instructions. Any other use is considered improper and may
result in property damage or even personal injury. Furthermore,
this leads directly to the loss of the warranty. The manufacturer
accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use.

4 Notes on energy efficiency

Important!
The device switches itself to standby mode after 4 hours
without operation.
Please note that this is NOT a defect, but a legal
requirement.
A notice will appear shortly before the unit shuts down.
Press any key to avoid this.
Alternatively, switch the device off and on again via the
main switch to reactivate it.
In the system settings
(MENU button - Settings - Timer settings -Sleep timer)
this function can be deactivated by setting it to "OFF".
Attention!
Deactivating the automatic standby or extending the
preset shutdown time results in higher power
consumption.

6 Assembly
6.1 Stand mounting
Use the enclosed screws to attach the feet to the corresponding
fixtures on the bottom of the unit as shown.

6.2 Wall assembly
Attach your wall bracket to the threads provided for this
purpose on the back and observe the hole spacing. You will
need two people for wall mounting. Please observe the
mounting instructions for the wall bracket used and the length
of the screws used.

7.3 CI/CI+ Slot
Note on the CI interface
When inserting, make sure that the front of the CI
module (CAM) faces backwards, towards the "wall".
This unit is equipped with a CI+ slot for use with a CAM module
and Smartcard, which allows you to watch encrypted pay
channels.
You can purchase the corresponding modules from your pay
TV provider or your specialist dealer.
Installation
1. Unplug the mains plug.
2. Before inserting the module, make sure that the smart card
is correctly inserted in the module (). Pay attention to the
orientation when inserting it.
The imprint on the module and the chip of the smartcard, if
present, must be on top.
3. Insert the module with the smartcard inserted and the print
on the module facing backwards ().
Carefully insert the module into the slot of the unit until you
feel some resistance.
Carefully press the module into the slot until it is firmly
seated.
4. Plug the mains plug back into the socket.
Remove module
1. Unplug the mains plug.
2. Carefully remove the module.

Note
The module and Smartcard are not included in the scope
of delivery.
Install the CI+ module after the channel search and all
other settings have been made.
It may take a few minutes to activate the card when it is
used for the first time. The unit checks the module every
time it is switched on. Follow the operating instructions
for the CI+ module and the Smartcard. Depending on the
provider, the Smartcard may be omitted.
Note on CI+
Please note that some functions may be restricted on
some channels. These restrictions are determined by the
broadcaster. The manufacturer is not responsible for
them.

Inserting the battery into the remote control
Notes on batteries
Alkaline batteries are recommended.
Replace the batteries when the following signs are
present:
Signal is hesitant or erratic.
Operation is no longer possible.
Remove the batteries if the remote control will not be
used for a long period of time. Be careful not to heat,
disassemble, deform or modify the batteries.
Remove the battery cover.
Insert two AAA 1.5V batteries.
Make sure that the polarity
(+ or -) is correct. The polarity is
indicated.
Put the battery cover back in
place.
