•6 resistors footprint related to the custom mode (CFG[2:0]=000)
•2 jumpers to enable/disable the internal LDOs
•2 jumpers to define the primary battery minimum level
•2 resistors to define the harvesting level
•1 potentiometer to define the harvesting voltage
•1 jumper to set the dual cell supercapacitor BAL feature

STEP 1: AEM00940 Configuration
•Source range: SRC_LVL_RANGE[1:0]
•Storage Element voltages protection: CFG[2] –CFG[1] –CFG[0]
•BAL option: Select “ToCn”for dual-cells supercapcacitor and “GND” for any other
storage
•PRIM option: Connect both jumpers “NoPRIM”or remove them if a primary
battery is connected. Define the lower limit voltage on the primary battery using
R7 and R8:
•100 kΩ ≤ RP ≤500 kΩ
•R7 = (𝑉𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑚_𝑚𝑖𝑛
4* RP) / 2.2 V
•R9 = RP –R7
•LDOs Outputs Voltages: ENHV (HVOUT) –ENLV (LVOUT)
•Source level: Use the potentiometer or resistors R9 and R10 in combination of the
source range functionality to define the harvesting voltage.
•100 kΩ ≤ RS ≤500 kΩ
•R10 =(𝑉𝑠𝑟𝑐_𝑟𝑒𝑔
𝐺𝐴𝐼𝑁 * RS) / 2.2 V
•R9 = RS –R10
