•The power button on your tabeo™is located on the left
side of the tablet next to a variety of ports. To power on the
tabeo™, press and hold the power button until the device
turns on.
•The tabeo™charging port can be found in between the
microphone port and the MicroSD card reader on the left
side of the tablet.
•Use the physical button on the top of the tablet.
Volume down (-) is on the left, and volume up (+) on the right.

Unlock your Screen
To unlock your screen,

utmost concern, and we’re here to help you keep your child safe online in few easy steps.
Now let’s set up your Parental Controls. This account will allow you to customize and control the content your child
can access. We recommend keeping your password safe and not sharing it with your child so that you can change
your preferences and settings at any time.

parental account, web browsing and apps will remain locked.

Easy steps to verify parental consent – CREDIT CARD
Step 1 - Launch the Web Browser (you will be directed to the online account set up page)
Step 2 - Create a new Edition’s
Profile Account
Step 5 - Go to Payment Screen and Enter
Credit Card Info. Enter your credit card information
– you will be charged $1.
*This will be refunded within 30-90 days
Step 3 - Enter Child’s Information
Step 6 - After successful payment you
will get a confirmation page – click next
to continue
Step 4 - Choose Verification Method –
USE CREDIT CARD
Step 7 - Now you can log into the
Parental Controls area and adjust
setting, application controls, time
management, and browser filter.

Easy steps to verify parental consent – PHONE CALL CODE
Step 1 - Launch the Web Browser (you will be directed to the online account set up page)
Step 2 - Create a new Edition’s Profile
Account
Step 5 - You should now be on the Call In screen.
The toll-free number is: 1-855-326-2547.
You will be provided with a 16 character key
Step 3 - Enter Child’s Information
Step 6 - Take the 4 digit code and
enter it into the box on your tablet and
click Proceed
Step 4 - Choose Verification Method
Step 7 - After a successful entry you
will then see a Congratulations page
and showing your device to be verified
and registered.

Although neither Arnova nor Toys“R”Us collects any personal information from your child through the Tabeo™, applications,
including the pre loaded third party applications you are about to activate or the applications that reside within the Tabeo™
App Store, may collect and transmit personal information from your child through the device. This information may include
name, user name or screen name, e-mail address, geolocation information, photos, videos, audio files, and persistent
identifiers (such as a device ID). Parental consent may be required before the collection, use, or disclosure of such information
in accordance with privacy laws. If applicable, it is incumbent upon each app developer to obtain this consent. As an extra
precaution, however, Toys“R”Us will not activate the pre loaded applications on the Tabeo™until after you’ve created and
verified Parental Controls.
More detailed information regarding the privacy practices of Toys“R”Us, as well as a list of the developers whose third party
apps are pre loaded on the Tabeo™, can be found at Tabeo.com.
After you have created Parental Controls, and in order to activate or “unlock” both the pre loaded applications and the apps
inside the Tabeo™App Store, we will need to verify that you are the parent or the legal guardian of the child who will be using
this Tabeo™.
For your convenience, you can choose between two easy verification methods:
Option 1 :
Secure verification website process. Please note that a nominal transaction charge (of approximately $1) is legally required if
you choose to use your credit card, debit card or other online payment system to provide parental consent.
Option 2:
Call our verification center toll-free at [phone]. There is no charge for this call. One of our representatives will give you a
unique code you’ll need to enter into your child’s Tabeo™after you have been verified.

Wireless & networks
Wi-Fi – Settings to configure/edit a wireless network
Data usage – Shows the amount of data used over
a set period of time and what application/process
consumed the data.
More… – Location to configure a VPN (Virtual Pri-
vate Network) Device.
Sound – Adjust volumes, change notification tone
(if any), enable/disable system sounds (touch
sounds, screen lock sound).
Display – Adjust brightness, change wallpaper,
enable/disable auto-rotate, change screen time out
(Sleep), change font size, and change the G-sensor
setting.
Storage – View total storage size for internal
storage, as well as a Micro SD card (if inserted), and
view a breakdown of what is using that space.
Battery – View the amount of time left on battery
and see what is draining the battery.
Apps – View all applications currently installed on
the tabeo. In this area, you can select an application
and uninstall, clear data, move application to SD
(if a MicroSD card is inserted).
HDMI – Adjust HDMI/video out settings. Options
only available when connected via HDMI to a TV.

Personal
Accounts & sync – Add an e-mail account. Also
allows you to view and modify account setup
through 3rd party applications (if applicable).
Security – Add owner information to the lock screen
(in case the tablet is lost), and other security options.
(Advanced users only)
Language & input – Adjust language and keyboard
options.
Backup & reset – Perform a factory reset (erases all
applications, media files, and settings).
System
Date & time – Adjust the date and time.
Accessibility – Adjust accessibility options (e.g., en-
large text, speak passwords, touch and hold delay,
etc.)
About tablet – View the version of Android, build
number, etc. Engage the Startup Wizard to launch on
next boot.

•Le bouton d’alimentation sur ta tabeoMC se trouve sur le côté
