ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
High Density Floor-Trak®
Single-Deep Skates
See page 2 for Double-Deep Skates. See page 3 for Track Systems.
ART # 351375
Assemble wire shelvin unit. Bottom shelf must be mounted
on the third roove from bottom of posts. Remove levelin
bolt from bottom of each post.
To se don t b mpers, please note: The position of bottom
shelf should accommodate donut bumpers. Place donut
bumpers so that they remain on top of skate.
1Shelving Unit
Ali n skates (A) top holes with bottom of post. Use a 3⁄8˝ flat
washer (B) with lock washer(C) and a 3⁄8˝ -16 NC x 2˝ lon bolt
(D) to screw throu h skate bottom into post plu . Use a flat
head screw driver to start assembly as shown in figure 1.
Repeat on opposite side. Ti hten bolts with a ratchet, small
extension and 9⁄16˝ socket as shown in figure 2.
2Skate
Place mobile unit on track makin certain the wheels fall within
the roove of the track. Make sure unit slides freely back and
forth on len th of the track as shown in figure 3.
Note: Shelvin Unit Loadin Instructions: Always position
heaviest items on lowest shelf. Distribute load evenly on each
shelf.

Assemble the wire shelving unit. Bottom shelf must be mounted on the third
groove from bottom of posts. Remove leveling bolt from the bottom of e ch post.
Additional Notes:
• Shelving unit requires ‘st nd rd posts’ t one end nd ‘end posts’ t the other.
‘End posts’ h ve inserts t both top & bottom, nd go in the middle of
double-deep ssembly.
• To use donut bumpers, ple se note: The position of the bottom shelf should
ccommod te donut bumpers. Pl ce donut bumpers so th t they rem in on top
of the sk te.

Double-Deep Skates
Pl ce sp cer(M) on top of the sk te. Align sk tes(A) top holes with the hole in
the sp cer nd the bottom of post. Use 3⁄8˝ fl t w sher(B) with lock w sher(C)
nd 3⁄8˝ - 16x2˝ bolt(D2) to screw through sk te bottom into post plug. Use fl t
he d screw driver to st rt ssembly s shown in figure 1. Repe t on opposite
side. Tighten bolts with r tchet, sm ll extension nd 9⁄16˝ socket s shown in
figure 2.
2Attaching Skate to Standard Po t
Pl ce center tie b r(L) on top of the sk te. Align sk tes(A) top holes with the
middle hole in the center tie b r. See “for End Posts” sequence bove. Use two
3⁄8˝ fl t w shers(B) with lock w shers(C) nd 3⁄8˝-16x11⁄4˝ bolt(D1.25) nd corn
nut(E) to tt ch center tie b r(L) s shown in figure 3. Use fl t he d screw
driver to st rt ssembly. Repe t on opposite side. Att ch wire shelving units to
sides of center tie b r on sk te (see “Double-Deep Unit” on b ck p ge). Use 3⁄8˝
fl t w sher(B) with lock w sher(C) nd 3⁄8-16x2 bolt(D2) to screw through center
tie b r nd into the bottom of the post s show in figure 3. Tighten bolts with
r tchet, sm ll extension nd 9⁄16˝ socket s shown in figure 2. Pl ce center tie b r
on top of posts nd secure using 3⁄8˝ fl t w sher(B) with lock w sher(C) nd
3⁄8-16x2 bolt(D2) s shown in figure 3a.
3Attaching Skate to End Po t
Pl ce mobile unit on tr ck m king cert in the wheels f ll within the groove of the
tr ck. M ke sure unit slides freely b ck nd forth on the length of the tr ck s
shown in figure 4 before securing tr ck to floor.
Note: Shelving Unit Lo ding Instructions; Alw ys position the he viest items on
the lowest shelf. Distribute lo d evenly on e ch shelf.

Lay tracks (F) on floor parallel to each other. Install stainless steel inserts
(K) to fill track as shown in figure 1. For additional track len th, place pins
(G) as shown in figure 2, to the underside of the track to connect
tracks to ether.
Note: Should installation require resizin of the tracks, steel inserts must
run the entire len th of the assembled track.
1Track
Place mobile unit on track makin sure wheels are in slots. Ali n each end
and make sure units slide back and forth freely.
Note: Usin a li htly loaded mobile unit will maintain track ali nment while
securin track.
2Mobile Unit
Slide one end stop (H) into track end as shown in figure 3. Use 1⁄4˝ drill bit
provided to drill strai ht down into and throu h end stop and track
(approx. 2˝) into floor as shown in figure 3a. Now, hammer securely and
seat anchor bolt (I) until flush as shown in figure 3b. Repeat on same end
of opposite track that is runnin parallel.
Note: Keep mobile unit 12˝ to 18˝ from end of track bein secured to
insure that distance between each track is correct.
Note: Use mobile unit to keep track parallel while securin from one end
stop to other.
3End Stop
At each track joint, slide mobile unit across track joint and stop when track
joint is centered and unit moves freely back and forth. Usin the drill,
position into uide line and drill dia onal throu h track (approximately 2˝)
from joint seam as shown in figure 4. Place track rivet (J) into hole and
secure with a hammer. Repeat procedure on opposite side.
4Joining Track Length
Apply silicone sealant around track ed e and floor.
