When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed.

KEEP AWAY FROM WATER!
1. Read all instructions. Use this unit only for its intended use as described in
these operating instructions.
2. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse power cord or plug in
water or any other liquid. This is an electrical appliance. To avoid the risk of
electrical shock or serious personal injury, always operate with dry hands.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near
children. This product is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the unit by a person responsible for their safety.
4. The air purifier + fan is intended for indoor household use only and not for
commercial or industrial appliances.
5. DO NOT allow the air purifier + fan to be used as a toy.
6. ALWAYS turn the air purifier + fan off before removing the plug from the
outlet. Unplug it immediately after using and before cleaning.
7. DO NOT allow the air purifier + fan to become wet or damp.
8. NEVER submerge the air purifier + fan in water or any other liquids.
9. DO NOT unplug by pulling on the cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the
cord. Unplug the power cord before moving, cleaning, or storing the air
purifier + fan.
10. NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening on the air purifier + fan.
11. NEVER block the air openings, or place on soft surface, such as a bed or sofa,
as this could cause the unit to tip over thus blocking the air intake opening.
12. DO NOT place anything on top of the air purifier + fan.
13. DO NOT obstruct the airflow. Avoid contact with moving parts.

14. DO NOT use this air purifier + fan in damp areas such as bathrooms or other
humid environments, near fireplaces or in areas where flammable or
combustible vapors or products may exist.
15. DO NOT operate the air purifier + fan if its cord or plug is damaged, after the
appliance has malfunctioned, or after it has been dropped or damaged in any
way. Always follow the warranty instructions.
16. DO NOT let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot
surfaces. Do not place near a hot gas or electric burner.
17. DO NOT operate the air purifier + fan without the filter in place.
18. DO NOT operate the air purifier + fan directly adjacent to curtains, plants,
window covers, etc. to avoid accidental entanglement or create a fire hazard.
19. DO NOT use this air purifier + fan near a window or under direct sunlight.
20. DO NOT operate the air purifier + fan in an area where gasoline, paint or any
such flammable liquids are used or stocked.
21. Keep the cord away from heavy traffic areas. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put
cord under rugs, near heat registers, radiators, or stoves.
22. NEVER use the power cord to pick up, carry, drag, pull, or lift the air purifier
and fan. Do not pull the cord against or around sharp corners or edges. This
could result in injury to the user and/or damage the cord.
23. ALWAYS place the air purifier + fan where it is not easily knocked over by
persons in the household.
24. Do not operate the air purifier + fan in any greasy environment such as a
kitchen. This product is not intended to filter oil or grease from air.
25. To maintain operating efficiency, user should not operate the air purifier + fan
24 hours a day, seven days a week.
26. DO NOT run the cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs,
runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances.
Arrange the cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over.
27. The use of attachments is not recommended and may cause hazards.
28. NEVER look directly at UV Bulb when illuminated doing so can cause
temporary or chronic damage to eyesight or may even result in loss of vision.
UV Bulb is harmful to bare skin and eyes. To prevent exposure to ultraviolet
light, disconnect the power to the unit before servicing any part of the air
purifier + fan. NEVER operate air purifier + fan if the housing is damaged or
cracked.
29. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use this air
purifier + fan with any solid-state speed control device.

warnings, cautions, and instruction discussed in this instruction manual cannot
cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood
by the operator that common sense and caution are a factor which cannot be
built into this product but must be supplied by the operator.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electric circuit is overloaded by other appliances, your air purifier + fan
and/or appliances may not operate properly. The air purifier + fan should be
operated on a separate electrical circuit from other operating appliances.

conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any
interference received, including interferences that may cause undesired operation.

SAFETY WARNING
Although your desktop air purifier + fan is easy to operate, for your safety, the
warnings below must be followed:
1. Do not place the air purifier + fan near a heat source.
2. Never leave the air purifier + fan unattended while connected to the electrical
outlet.
3. Use the air purifier + fan on a stable flat surface away from water.
4. Do not unplug from the wall outlet by pulling on the supply cord.
5. To avoid any accidents, never cover the air grill when the air purifier + fan is in
operation.
6. The air purifier + fan must be unplugged:
A. After each use.
B. If it appears to be faulty.
C. Before cleaning or maintenance.

Before first use
1. Check to make sure all parts are included and that there is no damage to the
unit or its parts.
2. Place the air purifier + fan in the desired location. Select a sturdy, level surface
to for proper air flow.
3. Do not place the unit on metal shelving. The air purifier + fan may be placed
on a nightstand, table, or desk. Make sure the outlet grill faces away from the
nearest wall or furniture.
How to use
1. Press the bottom power button to activate and deactivate air purifier mode.
The blue light on the front of the unit will be illuminated when the air purifier
is activated.
2. Press the top power button for fan use. Press fan button one two or three
times to select fan speed. Press once for low, press twice for a medium and
three times for the high. A long press on the power button will turn the fan
off. A light will illuminate with each level of the fan speed. All lights will
remain illuminated if the fan is on high fan speed.
3. Both the air purifier and the fan can be used at the same time.
4. The fan head can adjust up to 90 degrees, for preferred comfort level. Simply
lift the head (the fan part) up from the base. There will be a slight click when
picking it up because it is being removed from a locked position to the degree
of your choice. When placing the fan head back down to original position
there will be a slight click. That sound is locking the fan back to its original
position.
5. Softly tap the power button to reach desired speed. This will cycle from LOW,
MEDIUM, HIGH.
NOTE: WHEN THE UNIT IS NOT IN USE, TURN THE UNIT OFF AND UPLUG IT.

Replacing the filter
There is not a filter reset indicator. On average, the filter needs to be replaced
every 3-6 months. Life expectancy of the filter depends on the air quality and use
the of the unit. For information on replacement filters, please contact customer
service.
1. ALWAYS turn off and unplug the air purifier + fan from the power outlet
before replacing the filter.
2. To access the filter chamber, turn the unit upside down. Twist to open the
chamber cover. Make sure the chamber cover lines up to the unlock position
and lift the cover off.
3. Discard the old filter. DO NOT attempt to wash the filter.
4. Insert the new filter into the unit.
5. Once you have placed the new filter in the unit, place the chamber cover back
on. Then twist to make sure the chamber cover lines up to the lock position.
Then turn the unit right side up.
HEPA Filter
The purpose of this filter is to capture dust and allergen particles.

Troubleshooting
DO NOT attempt to repair the air purifier + fan yourself.
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
If the desk top air purifier does
not operate:
▪Check that the filter is inserted, and the
chamber cover is screwed into place.
▪Make sure the air purifier + fan is plugged
in all the way into the unit and the wall
outlet.
▪Make sure the power cord is plugged into
a working power outlet.
▪If the above solutions do not work,
please contact customer service.
If the air flow is reduced:
▪Make sure that the intake and outlet
grills are not blocked and are free of
debris.
▪Make sure the filter is clean, it may need
to be replaced.
▪If the above solutions do not work,

Cleaning and Maintenance
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the air purifier + fan is OFF and unplugged from the power
source before cleaning or attempting to store the item. DO NOT IMMERSE THE
AIR PURIFIER + FAN IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
1. Clean the air purifier + fan once a month to ensure there is no dust build up
that can affect the performance of the fan.
2. Before cleaning, turn the air purifier + fan off and unplug from electrical
outlet.
3. Once unplugged, the exterior of the unit may be cleaned by wiping with a
lightly damp cloth. Wipe off excess dust with a lint free cloth.
4. If you wish to lightly clean the inside of the air purifier, remove HEPA filter,
and only use a dry, soft cloth to lightly wipe it down.
5. A vacuum cleaner brush attachment can be used to clean the fan guards. This
will help remove lint and dirt from inside the fan.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE THE FAN APART.
NOTE: A can of compressed air may also be used to help push any excess dirt
out of the fan and into the vacuum cleaner.
6. DO NOT immerse the air purifier + fan in water and never allow water to enter
the motor housing.
7. DO NOT allow water to get into the intake and outlet grills.
8. DO NOT use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the air purifier
+ fan.
DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE MATERIAL TO CLEAN THE SURFACE!

¡MANTÉNGALO ALEJADO DEL AGUA!
1. Lea todas las instrucciones. Use la unidad solo para el uso previsto tal como se
describe en las instrucciones de uso.
2. Para protegerse contra una descarga eléctrica, no sumerja el cable de
alimentación o el enchufe en agua u otro líquido. Este aparato es un
electrodoméstico. Para evitar el riesgo de descarga eléctrica o lesiones graves,

o equipos electrodomésticos. Coloque el cable lejos de áreas de tráfico y
donde no pueda provocar tropezones.
27. El uso de accesorios no se recomienda y podría causar riesgos.
28. NUNCA vea directo la bombilla UV cuando está encendida ya que puede
causar daños temporales o crónicos a su visión o incluso puede perderla. La
bombilla UV es dañina para la piel y los ojos. Para evitar la exposición a la luz
ultravioleta, desconecte la alimentación de la unidad antes de dar
mantenimiento a cualquier pieza del purificador de aire y ventilador. NUNCA
utilice el purificador de aire y ventilador si la carcasa está dañada o rota.

ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD
Si bien el purificador de aire y ventilador es fácil de utilizar, se deben cumplir las
siguientes advertencias por razones de seguridad:
1. No coloque el purificador de aire y ventilador cerca de una fuente de calor.
2. No deje nunca el purificador de aire y ventilador desatendido mientras está
conectado a la red eléctrica.
3. Utilice el purificador de aire y ventilador en una superficie de trabajo plana y
estable lejos del agua.
4. No lo desenchufe del tomacorriente jalando del cable de alimentación.
5. Para evitar accidentes, nunca cubra la rejilla de aire mientras el purificador de
aire y ventilador está en funcionamiento.
6. El purificador de aire y ventilador debe desconectarse:
A. Después de cada uso.
B. Si parece estar defectuoso.
C. Antes de cualquier operación de limpieza o mantenimiento.

Antes del primer uso
1. Compruebe que no falte ninguna pieza y que la unidad y sus componentes no
presenten daños.
2. Coloque el purificador de aire y ventilador en el lugar deseado. Seleccione una
superficie firme y nivelada que ofrezca suficiente flujo de aire.
3. No coloque la unidad sobre un estante de metal. El purificador de aire y
ventilador se puede colocar sobre una mesa de luz, mesa o escritorio.
Asegúrese de que la rejilla de salida esté orientada en dirección opuesta de la
pared o mueble más cercano.
Modo de empleo
1. Presione el botón inferior de encendido para activar y desactivar el modo de
purificación de aire. La luz azul en el frente de la unidad se encenderá cuando
el purificador de aire se active.
2. Presione el botón inferior de encendido para usar el ventilador. Pulse el botón
FAN (ventilador) una, dos o tres veces para seleccionar la velocidad del
ventilador. Una vez para baja, dos veces para intermedia y tres veces para
alta. Una pulsació larga del botón de encendido apagará el ventilador. Se
encenderá una luz por cada nivel de velocidad del ventilador. Todas las luces
permanecerán encendidas si el ventilador está en velocidad alta.
3. Tanto el purificador de aire como el ventilador se pueden usar al mismo
tiempo.
4. El cabezal del ventilador se puede ajustar hasta 90 grados para más
comodidad. Tan solo levante el cabezal (la parte del ventilador) de la base.
Habrá un clic ligero cuando lo levante porque se lo está quitando de una
posición de bloqueo al ángulo de su elección. Cuando coloque el cabezal del
ventilador de regreso en la posición original oirá un ligero clic. Ese sonido es
que el ventilador se bloquea en su posición original.
5. Pulse ligeramente el botón de encendido/apagado para lograr la velocidad
deseada. Esto ajustará secuencialmente la velocidad BAJA, MEDIA y ALTA del
ventilador.
NOTA: CUANDO LA UNIDAD NO ESTÉ EN USO, APAGUE LA UNIDAD Y
DESENCHÚFELA.
