This hair dryer is equipped with a 3-step switch with the following switch
positions:

1low heat and fan setting
2high heat and fan setting
For best results, you should begin by using fan setting 2 to dry your hair. Fan
setting 1 is suitable for styling.
Cold air button
This hair dryer is equipped with a cold air button 7 (see fig. A)
. You can use it
to quickly cool off your hair after drying or to shape your hair, e.g. to blow dry a
wave.
1. Switch the hair dryer on as described in the chapter “Unfolding and using
the hair dryer”.
2. Hold the cold air button down.
The power supply to the heating coil will be interrupted. After a short cool-
down phase, cool air will be blown out of the air outlet
9 (see fig. A)
.
3. Release the cold air button to stop the flow of cold air.
Now hot air will be blown out of the air outlet again.
4. Switch the hair dryer off as described in the chapter “Unfolding and using
the hair dryer”.
Ion effect
The molecules contained in the air drawn into this hair dryer are negatively
charged (ionized) and directed into your hair with the hot air. The ions in con-
tact with your hair break down water drops and speed up the evaporation
process.
This has the advantage that your hair:
• dries faster,
• doesn’t dry out due to the faster drying time,
• is not damaged as much due to the reduced effect of heat,
• appears smoother, softer, silkier, shinier and more vital,
• can be brushed and styled easier,
• is less likely to frizz, break or tangle,
• is better protected against UV rays and has a reduced static charge.
