1. Get Started
Charging the Unit
Before using the Echo Com for the first time, it is recommended to charge the unit overnight.
Plug the A/C charger into a wall socket and connect the USB cord to the charger and the
headset charging port. You can also connect the USB cord to a powered USB port on your PC
or laptop.
While charging, the Status Light will illuminate solid red. When the unit is fully charged, the
light will go out. Subsequent charging should take about 3 hours.

The Echo Com can also be connected to an Echo Plug & Go and charged while riding. Simply
attach the additional cord provided to the charging ports on each device.
Helmet Installation
Position the speaker connected to the microphone in the left ear hole or left speaker pocket of
your helmet liner. Position the other speaker in the right ear hole or right speaker pocket. Use
the Velcro pads, if needed, to keep the speakers in place. Cable and charging cord can be
neatly tucked away behind helmet liner.
To reduce external noise, position the microphone so that it is directly in front of your mouth,
with the foam just touching your lips.
2. Get Connected
Phone Set-Up
Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth setting.
Power-up the Echo Com unit by pressing and holding the Power/Function button for 4-5
seconds until the Status Light is flashing blue. Add, search or scan for devices. When “Echo
Com” appears, select it. Pairing code is’ 0000’(four zero). You should now be connected via
Bluetooth.
Status Light will continue to blink blue while Bluetooth is in use.
To end Bluetooth connection, simply switch off the power on the Echo Com unit.
The next time you turn on your Echo Com unit, the Bluetooth connection should be maintained,
as long as the phone settings were not changed.
Intercom Set-Up
Power-up both Echo Com units by pressing and holding the Power/Function button for 7-8
seconds until BOTH the blue and red lights are flashing.
Briefly press the Power/Function button of one of the units. The red lights on both units should
go out, while the blue lights continue to flash.
Status Light will continue to flash blue while units are paired.
3. Get Talking and More
Answer/End a Call
The unit will automatically answer incoming phone calls after several rings. The phone call will
interrupt any intercom communication or other audio that may be playing at the time.
You can also manually answer a call more quickly by briefly pressing the Phone button.
To reject a call, simply press and hold the Phone button for about 2 seconds.

Once the caller hangs up, or you reject the incoming call, you will automatically be returned to
the previous mode - either intercom conversation or music.
Note: Call Waiting features on your phone may not be available.
Use the Intercom
In order to begin or end intercom communication, quickly press the Power/Function button.
When intercom conversation has ended, you will automatically be returned to previous audio
