9. Movingtheunit
Whenmovingtheunit,shutoffpowertoall
connectedequipment,anddisconnectpower
cords,connectioncables,speakercablesand
otherwires.Movingtheunitwhilecablesare
connectedcancausedamagetocables,fireor
electricshock.Theunitisheavyandcare
shouldbetakenwhenunpaking,movingor
lifting.
Manufacturingalsocreatessharpareasonthe
unit;usethoroughcareinhandling.
10. Dangersigns
Ifyounoticeastrangenoise,smoke,unusual
odourorotherabnormalcondition,shutofthe
unit,disconnectthepowercordfromtheoutlet
andhavetheunitinspected.Continueduse
mayresultinfireorelectricshock.
11. Electricstorms
Duringelectricalstormsdisconnecttheunit
andavoidcontactwiththeantennaandpower
cord.Lightningcancausefire,electricshock
andmalfunction.

12. Internaltemperaturerise
Toavoidinternaltemperaturerise,when
installingtheunit,leavespacebetweenthe
unitandwallsorotherequipment.When
installedinarackorsimilarfixture,leavea
10cm(4")orlargergapontopandatsides
sinceinternaltemperaturerisecanresultinfire.
13. Extendednon-use
Iftheunitislikelytobeunusedforan
extended period, shut off power and
disconnectfrompowersupply.
14. VolumeAdjustment
Ifabnormalnoiseisproducedduringplayat
highvolume,reducethevolumelevel.Distorted
soundcancauseoverheatingofspeakersand
amplifier.Beforeswitchingpowersupplyon,
settheamplifiervolumetominimum.Sudden,
loundnoisecancausedamagetohearing.
15. Maintenance
Beforeundertakingmaintenancedisconnect
frompowersupply.Havetheinterioroftheunit
cleanedapproximatelyonceayearbyqualified
personnel.Accumulateddustinsideandlong
intervalswithoutcleaningcancausefireor
malfunction.Beforecleaningthisproductmake
surethatthepoweristurnedoffandthe
powercordisdisconnectedfromthewall
outlet.Cleanwithasoftcloth.Iftheproductis
particularlydirty,moistentheclothandwring
outbeforeuse.Completebywipingwithasoft,
drycloth.Donotuseliquidsolventssuchas
alcoholorthinnertocleanthisproduct,as
suchchemicalscandamagetheunit.
16. Servicing
Theunitshouldbeservicedbyqualified
personnelwhen:
*Thepower-supplycordorplughasbeen
damaged,or
*Objectsorliquidhaveenteredtheunit,or
*Theunithasbeenexposedtorain;or
*Theunitismalfunctioning,or
*Theunithasbeendroppedorthecabinet
hasbeendamaged.
17. Children
Useparticularcareinhouseholdswhere
childrenarepresent.
18. TemporaryFault
Ifthisproductreceivesastrongexternal
shock(suchas from an impact,static
electricityorapowersurgeduetolightning),
orifthisproductisusedincorrectly,itmay
stopworkingproperly.
Insuchcases,pressthepowerbuttonofthe
amplifierwhichisconnectedtothemainunitto
turnthepoweroffandthenbackonagain,
andcheckifthisproductisworkingnormally.

Inthisevent,disconnectthepowercord
fromtheoutlet,correcttheshortedarea
andreconnectthepowercordtothe
outlet.
